This is my first time in a GW store and man was I impressed! This place was everything I expected and more. I have never seen so much selection of new and old models, novels and paints all in one spot.Staff was world class! Friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience memorable. Just in town visiting but had a great time showing my son the store grabbing some new reads and minis. Highly recommend if you haven’t been in to a GW shop. WOW! Now I understand why they’re the number two store in the states. Top notch.

Whether youre new to the hobby or a long-time player, the Scottsdale Games Workshop store is terrific. The manager, Luke, is super friendly and very knowledgeable. The quality customer service and Warhammer product selection are hard to beat!

This is by far one of the best shops in the area. Luke is an amazing guy. My only complaint is that i wish i lived closer.

I just got into warhammer 40k 2 weeks ago, and had no idea where to start. The staff helped me pick my units, that I then went home and assembled. I returned the next day and they walked me through an awesome pain job for my beginner Custode Army. Im no artist, but I am so happy with how helpful they were in helping me make my models presentable, dare I say, cool looking. Shout out to Rik. Ill be stopping by again later today if I find the time. 10/10 beat hobby store Ive ever been to. Would recommend.

Luke was awesome! Super friendly, knows the lore. Understands the tabletop and knows upcoming products. We are from El Paso and it was nice to find out they offer free shipping since we dont have a Games Workshop store in our area.

Its a cozy little miniture model store. They have friendly staff, a clean interior, decent prices, and a good selection.These types of stores obviously are not for everyone, they specialize in warhammer 40k minis.If you are getting a gift for someone into minis or want to pick some up yourself I would recommend this place.

The shop keep is overly friendly and likes to get to know the regulars. Staff is overly friendly and very helpful. Not only is there a wide variety of 40k models but fantasy as well! The paint selection is wide and almost always has what you are looking for in stock. If they dont, it will be ordered and arrive within a week or two. Plenty of space to play and hang out as well!

I really like this store. The staff are super helpful.

The people here love their job, and it really reflects in their service to the public. Wonderful crew and a decent collection of miniatures for Warhammer, but not much other than that. Plenty of utensils and paint supplies, though, so that is nice. I like to decorate my miniatures so I would like more extra stuff for that, if I were to recommend anything to add to this store.

This particular location is the top company store in the United States for sales. One of the reasons for this is that the store is run very well, it has excellent service Tama it cultivates a good environment, and it helps to organize activities and tournaments that work very nicely.I have been attending this store since it opened a number of years ago. Luke has served as the store manager since that point in time period the experience at the store has always been a very positive one.

Hubby loves it here! Im not a big game player, but he finds the coolest models for his game. Great customer service from staff 👍

The manager Luke is awesome! Ive been out of the warhammer hobby for some time and was pretty lost about what was currently going on. Luke gave me the best catch up talk filling me in on fantasy & 40K. I had a lot of questions and he answered them all with great knowledge of the hobby and was great at taking me through different models also bringing me up on the new rules. He literally has everything you need to get started or build up your current army. Great atmosphere and friendly to the new comers. They also have 3-4 tables all set up with great detail for battles and a couple of stations to sit and work on your models. I look forward to my next visit.

During my short trip home I decided to get back into the hobby/game after 15 years. Luke, other staff and regulars were all extremely helpful with suggestions on armies, painting and list building.Would highly suggest this store to any one whether a seasoned veteran or a /new friend/.

The location has been well established in the community for the last 8 years. It is easy to get to, well maintained, and very well stocked.There is a hobby section where you can freely build and paint. Plus there are up to four tables available for playing Warhammer Games!All of this and Luke is an absolute pleasure to engage with.

The staff are extremely helpful, and the people who play there are extremely nice, and generally pretty willing to run newbies through their first game to help them learn the rules. Honestly, its tough to find customer service this good elsewhere -- the staff will also help you build an army list, paint, build your models, etc. Perfect rating!

Amazing place! My first time going to a GW store. So blown away. The employee was incredibly knowledge, in fact, he spent about thirty minutes helping me figure out a rule conundrum. I highly recommend this store. Lots of both 40K and Age of Sigmar, plenty of terrain, looked like six or so gaming tables.

Very great shop. The walls are lined with models with a wide variety of selections of models from muliple games and the employees are extremely helpful.

Very nice place and the customer service was great. I was new to the store and I thought it was just a general game miniature but I found out its just specifically games workshop games like Warhammer. I told the guy working I was looking for a different type of mini to play with tabletop play and he shows me a few pieces that I could paint and still use. He gave me tips on how to paint and offered his help in learning it.Get experience overall.

This place is awesome! I was introduced to it about a year ago and am hooked. Though mostly adults build and play these tabletop games, my kids have been really getting into it. The guys here are very knowledgeable on every aspect of the game and always able to answer any questions you have. They have multiple events throughout the year that they post to their Facebook page and even more that youll find out about by hanging out at the shop. These events include master painters running small classes, battle competitions, building competitions, and more. Many events even include prizes. Its can be an expensive hobby, but Ive been slowly building my miniature army and have enjoyed every minute of it!

It still blows my mind that there is a retail location dedicated to table top games! I go here for all my paints and sometimes for dnd inspiration even though I dont play warhammer.

I have been stopping by periodically for the past year. No pressure, beautiful shop. Luke is ever present providing unique context and instruction. Be warned, Lukes passion for the hobby is contagious!My daughter got hooked on the 30 (yes thirty) volume story behind Warhammer....my son loves the creepy alien characters (grosser the better)...and we all love the Zen like experience of crafting the models and painting them. As someone who was BANNED (in writing) from picking colors at a fortune 500 company, I was concerned that the painting aspect of the hobby would doom us to look what I made at pre school results however the decades of Game Workshops design/process experience together with Lukes instruction and support has made for amazing results!

Excellent shop with a wonderful staff. They are always friendly, welcoming and interactive.

Luke was super helpful and they had a lot of people there actively playing WH40K. I was awkward at best, but Luke seemed to pick up on this and answered all my questions without judgement on the poor new guy.

Knowledgable staff and very cool environment definitely coming back often and this will be my go to spot for all things warhammer as long as I am in Phoenix. Definitely recommend checking it out.

If you like tabletop models, then this is a Wonderful place. It does only have Games Workshop -to-rally models, however (Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Sigmar, and Lord of the Rings), so you wont find X-Wing or Warmachine or whatever, but thats alright because there are still Tons of models.If a unit of 10 guys is to much, take a look through the single character packs; $15-$30 for an awesome model to display!
