Wish I could give them minus 5 stars. Worst customer service ever. Ordered insulation installed on 18’ door. Tech showed up with kit for 16’ door, cut panels to try to make it fit, looked like Frankenstein-ish jigsaw puzzle on half of door. Never returned. Supervisor said he’d let us know when proper kit could be installed but never got back to us. Customer service refused to let us cancel, offered negligible discount, never followed up. One month after the original purchase, we removed the panels and contacted credit card company, which said they’d contact Elite. Elite still did not reach out so credit card company refunded the full amount. I would never do business with this company again.

Elite said they would make a duplicate gate (to make the HOA happy at my request) and it would take about 4 weeks to install after fabrication. 10 weeks later, today, an installation crew just showed up to install the gate. It wasnt even close to the original gate. I wouldnt choose to do business with this company ever again. They were given photos of the old gate from both sides. Somewhere, someone decided it didnt matter what MY gate looked like. They just brought a gate that would fit. Even the initial sales person that came out at the beginning said they could make it exactly the same. Joshua, the sales manager also said they could duplicate it based on the pictures I provided. Please, for your own sanity, dont choose Elite to do work on your garage doors or gates. They were also supposed to use bolts and nuts per Joshua. However, they used screws on one side make it impossible to know if it will be safe to remove to stain and then put screws back. Removing the screw may ruin the gate. I dont know and Ive asked twice and have not received a response. Ill update this if they fix the problem.

Called and set an appointment. Was advised my technician would be out between 3 -6 pm today. Its now 7:30pm and Elite doors technician calls and says he cant come tonight, despite me telling them my garage door was inoperable. So, not only did I waste 4 hrs waiting for them, they didnt bother to call sooner to advise of the time challenges but waited until the tech was ready to call it a day. No thank you Elite Garage Doors, Ill take my business to someone who knows the value of customer service

Great customer service amazing staff, very intelligent owner. Jason the plumber in particular is a great honest person and awesome plumber. Apparently they do garage door, gates, plumbing, and A.C.Looking forward to future interactions with this company staff.

Gave them a zero. Filed a BBB complaint. In process of filing a complaint with Regristar of Contractors.They left my gate in worse condition and said they could not repair. $600.00 lost.I asked for a refund they said no. I asked to talk to a manager they said no. I informed them that i would file a complaint with ROC. The guy had the gall to tell me that i couldnt do that. WT....Then proceeds to present another $1000 quote for more work from his associate.This AF Disabled Vet was robbed!Update.The Owner responded to this post review and said he would personally review and get back with me in 24 hours...that was four days ago.This was an expensive lesson that others should learn from; Do your research from multiple sources before committing to hire. Vets do your research and hire honorable businesses.

Daniel came to my house and fixed the broken springs on my garage door and he also lived and tuned the entire system. The door is very quiet now I highly recommend Elite Garage Doors and Gates.

The tech that showed up, A-Matin Steele was very professional & courteous. You have a great employee there. Original quote was to replace the door spring and cables, $779 but tech said the bearing plates may need to be replaced also. After taking apart what needed to be tech contacted me and told me bearing plates did need to be replaced. No quote was given, there are 3 bearing plates. Job was completed and then I find out the price goes from $779 to $1680 not including tax! Tax was an additional $139. Just my opinion but that seems overly expensive, some might even say price gouging. Can’t recommend them & won’t use them again based on this.

Two different dates set for an appointment between the hours of 9am to 1pm. Both times they did not show up or call. Two days of my life wasted and took time off work to boot. This company does not care about customer service!

Super shady. They recommended service that was clearly not needed. Watch some YouTube videos on whatever issue/service this company recommends BEFORE agreeing to have them do any work for you. Dont feel rushed by these guys.EDIT (10/27/2020): Elite was definitely the company at my residence. My message to the owner: just be good people, no reason to try and take advantage of your perceived expertise in garage door services.

This company is an absolute joke. Sales guy came out, I told him I’d buy that day if they could get the doors installed in 2 weeks. He said not a problem, he assured me it would be done in 2 weeks. They wouldn’t answer my calls and then didn’t schedule anything. I had to call multiple times to make sure to get scheduled. I was told an electrician was going to come out and get it all wired. Never came This was in October. It is now December 11th and they just got installed. The problem is that the electrician still did not come and now my garage doors have no power to them because of the j shaft I bought. I called the office with no answer, it went to the scheduler and he said nothing was scheduled with a electrician. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My job is still not complete, I have no power to my doors. I will be filing complaints everywhere because this was the worst service I’ve ever had. I had given them 3 chances to get this right, and even on the day the doors are installed they still can’t plan accordingly. Save your money and time and use someone else.

Precision made buying/installing a new garage door an easy and enjoyable experience. My Service Rep arrived on a Monday to give a bid. The Service Rep was knowledgeable and personable. On Friday of that week, our door was installed without issue. The result was a perfect process. Cannot recommend Precision enough!

We have two gentlemen arriving today at our house to give us a quote; one of the guys was very professional however we had a terrible experience with the African American man. The African American guy told us $300 to fix the garage door bottom seal, I said I will think about it and get back to you, then he got into an argument mood and told me my family was wasting his time! This company needs to be hold accountable not to force people to pay the money they dont want to get the service done! Its my money and I choose to hold of on the service simple as that! People watch out for this guy! Very unprofessional and mad at our family!

I’m pretty sure I got ripped off. The guy kept selling me on additional things that needed repair. Our house is newly constructed and garage only about a year old at time of repair, so not sure if all he said needed to be done was honest and true. I’m not an expert so I took his word for it. Also, I needed repair ASAP so I wasn’t able to do my due diligence in shopping around. I spoke to multiple people later who have also had to have their garage doors serviced and seems I probably paid triple or more what they would have expected I paid. Garage door still a little finicky now but works. They did come right away so I’ll give them credit there.

Just had one of our garage doors repaired and one replaced by Elite and couldnt have gone any better. These guys really know their stuff. I know we could have paid less with a cheaper company but I know it was done right and worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Gotta love when the garage door decides its time to break. Fortunately, we were able to get someone out on a Sunday to give us a quote and while it may have been a tad high, the fact that we had a new door and operator by Tuesday was well worth any extra payment. The two man team came out 30 minutes early and was done in about an hour. They could have been a bit better on cleanup (couple of screws around, and some seal remains on the floor) they were nice and professional.

Fabulous company! Fabulous service from first phone call through picking doors and ordering them, and on to the installation of three new doors and three new opener systems. Each employee I met amazed me with their attention to detail, knowledge about product, and responsible and pleasant service in a very timely manner. Price was pretty darn good as well! Unless youre willing to pay a premium, I would steer clear of Elite.Last year she had a new garage door installed by Elite. In Sun City the driveways are slanted for water run off and the new door was never aligned to the foundation/driveway with a visible gap across the bottom.Fast forward to this week... the existing garage door opener failed. She called Elite again. The technician gave her 1 option: 8550 Elite Series DC Motor Belt Drive w/ Evercharge Standby Power System. I searched and found them ranging from $300-$600, but Elite up-charged her $1,300 - just for the device!! Once they added labor, remote, tune up, keyless entry pad, the total was $2,104.85.I called to complain and they reduced the bill by $430 as she shouldnt have been charged labor or for the extra remote or keypad as those come in the box. Even with the credit, charging $1,670 for a new garage door opener is a total rip off. And I feel they totally took advantage of an 88 yr old women who needed a replacement.

I called Precision/Elite Garage Doors on Monday for service on a garage door that was not working correctly. They were able to schedule me for the next afternoon.Chris B. came on time inspected my garage door and told me what I needed. He came to my house on time and finished on time. I was quoted a reasonable price and thats what I paid. He fixed it and told me what I needed to do going forward. He also was able to give me some good advice for the house we are going to move to in 6 months. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing garage door service.

Elite came out to work on door that wouldn’t close. Really lousy, sloppy work the whole time they were here. Called to complain about their work and never heard anything from them. Talk about “Satisfy the customer”. A week after they were here “fixing” the door it started not closing again. I’ll look somewhere else for a garage door repair company in the future.

Before you hire Elite Garage Doors, check out the complaints on BBB, this company has a poor install history and a very bad reputation about fixing install issues that they have created without recharging labor or trying to get out of doing what is right and taking care of defects ! I called Precision Garage Door in Scottsdale, AZ because our garage door would not open and our car was in the garage. The staff was knowledgeable and made an appointment the very same day within 2 hours. Our technician, Jeremy, did a wonderful, neat, and experienced job. We were very satisfied with his work. Also, I spoke with Paal a few days later and he was able to honor the coupons in line that I did not know about at the time of service. He was very courteous, helpful, and took care of giving me the coupon in a refund check. I would highly recommend Precision for their customer service and great workmanship.

Let me tell you about my outstanding first time service experience with Precision Door Service! From the moment Sebastian showed up I was very impressed, he is very knowledgeable and professional. He knew exactly what kind of garage door components I had and was able to diagnose the issue right from the get go. He was very upfront with me, gave me two options and explained the benefits of both. After it was all said and done I ended up getting a new spring, new rollers, lift motor, belt rail, sensors, keypads and remotes. Pretty much everything but the door was replaced. Sebastian completed an outstanding install, this had to have been a 4 to 5 hour job for an average technician but he completed it in an hour and half! Just like he promised. Sebastian gave me a veterans discount without me even asking and he made sure we got the right enough work done so that we would be covered under the warranty. He really looks out for his customers. I will recommend Precision Door Service to anyone and will continue to use them.

Elite is significantly overpriced. I have a standard 16 foot wide door. They charged me $295 per spring. To be fair, this includes labor and fees, but the total cost for 2 springs (which only took 45 minutes to replace) was almost $600. The spring looks to be high quality and the service was fine, but the pricing isnt worth it. I should have done more research ahead of time. I learned an expensive lesson. I called management to see if they could help me out a bit, and they didnt budge at all.

The sales team immediately coordinated a service call to replace our existing garage door opener that day (Saturday).The appointment went well and our service tech, Jesse was extraordinarily professional and knowledgeable. Jesse walked us through the process and kept us informed throughout the service call/installation. The garage door opener works very well, and the door itself is much quieter and working more efficiently so it will last a few weeks longer until it is replaced.We were both delighted with Precisions customer service and expertise.

Terrible Experience! I had a salesperson come out to my house for single car garage. Looked into the costs and I was expecting $350 to $500 cost for system and install. The Sales Person quoted me a price of $999!! I told him that was way more than I expected. He told me that was the lowest possible price, so I asked him to email me the quote. He never did and left very quickly. DO NOT Recommend, they will try to PRICE GOUGE you. Got Amazon to install a better product for $348 out the door.

My garage door seemed to be making noise and I called Precision Door since they had helped me with it a few years ago. The tech (Chris) was knowledgable and polite and took care of the issue. He also pulled up my history with Precision and since I had no copy of the last visit he suggested I take a photo of record which he pulled up. He reminded me of my warranty which I had completely forgotten about. Very pleased with the result!

Albert the technician was great and very professional. Very knowledgeable and did an excellent job on the installation of a new genie motor and diagnosed future issues. Only reason I didnt give it a 5 star was the pricing. Certainly not a bargain but maybe you get what you pay for. Precision is pricey but good.

I notice in the morning that the spring had snapped on my garage door. My wife was surprised at how calm I was about it. I said no problem I will just call Precision Door, they set up my new opener a few months back on the other door and had great service. My window for the repair was 10-noon but I received a call shortly after nine from Sebastian saying that he would be there even earlier. This worked out great with my schedule. Sebastians work quickly and efficiently and pointed out some other items that he would recommend. I did one of them. Precision Door Service is now programed into my phone. I would recommend them to anyone.

At first it was difficult, getting them to call us back in regards to our order, We had to constantly call. Once we got scheduled They had 2 techs come out, One of the Techs (Daniel) called us first thing in the morning and informed us on the time he was going to be there and then other tech would be there a few minutes after him. Our scheduled time window was from 8am-12pm. They got there around 8:30, Daniel came in Introduced him self and we walked him to the gate that was being replaced. He walked us through the process and got to work.Got to say very very satisfied with the professionalism Daniel Served us. Both Gentlemen where very awesome and hard working. The Other Tech I didnt get his name and I feel bad, but he did an amazing job as well and walked us through and double checked everything when they where done. We really appreciate the service and the great job they did. Very Satisfied and would recommend Precious Door Service to others.

Wow!! Thats all I can say about this company!! A very nice guy came out for a quote and completely tried to take advantage of me. He quoted me over $900 for a job that supposed to be $300 max!! I had several quotes after Precision and couldnt believe what happened here. Unbelievable!!Anyway i ended up paying $265 total with another company who thank God happened to be very honest. I suggest avoided this company unless you want to get ripped off!!!!Good luck

I reviewed other ratings of Precision Door Company and found them to be accurate from my experience. Garage doors can be lethal if not installed and maintained properly. We had a very heavy door and our counter balance springs were not properly sized by the original installer, which caused possible issues with the electric drive which also did not function after the door balancing was completed. A new opener was installed on the same visit, and they helped program the remotes and the built in remote in my car before they left. They were knowledgeable and guaranteed the product for 10 years.

Highly recommend Elite Garage Doors and Gates. Less than two hours from the time we called them, to them showing up and repairing our garage door. Albert V. (the tech) was friendly and did a great job. Thanks guys.

Josh from Precision did a great job on our 3 car garage repair after our spring became loose and left side cable came off the spool. This caused our Genie opener to basically snap). He answered all my questions was very polite and worked quickly. I’m sure there are other companies out there that do these types of repairs and they may be even cheaper but I felt Josh’s work and attention to detail was worth the money and time (he was able to repair a huge bend in the top part of the door as well in under a 1hr 30min). Would recommend Josh and this company again for any/every garage door needs.

Matt Smith came today and was awesome. He quickly evaluated the problem and efficiently gave me the options. After decided, he went right to work and replaced the garage opener. He also checked the door springs and lubricated everything that needed it. All and all, I will continue to use Precision for any future repairs!

Josh was our service person. He came promptly and fixed our problem which was the connection between our car garage door opener button and the motor of the garage door. He explained everything he was doing as we wanted to know what the issue was. We checked both vehicles when he was done to make sure all worked correctly and he supported us every step of the way and made sure we were comfortable before he left. Had a problem with my garage door. Broken spring. It happened yesterday. So I called precision garage door repair. The tech Josh came out today. Even though its a Sunday. The tech checked out the system and explained what parts the door needed and recommend replacement of other parts . I am glad I had the tech replace them. All I can say about entire process is that I am very satisfied. The tech, Josh was respectful and very efficient. Josh explained the entire process from start to finish. When he was done, cleaned up the broken parts.I would recommend precision garage repair to anyone. So thanks for the great service.

Whatever truck is an older Ford with your logo all over, floored it in the apache junction Frys parking lot and almost t-boned me and my children because an old lady made him wait to get around her!!

We had an urgent repair that had to be taken care of same day. I called and spoke with a friendly receptionist with excellent customer service skills. Our technician was Vinny, who arrived promptly when he was scheduled and with a courtesy call 10 minutes before he arrived. Late into the evening, he showed patience and precision, and even took the time to teach me how to maintain my garage door the best way. I give this group 5 stars without reservation. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful company. I called and within half an hour, they sent Sebastian and a helper over to totally redo my garage door. He explained and showed me everything that needed to be done and then demonstrated how the door should have been lifting and why it wasnt. He is an excellent employee. A good representative for this company. Will use them again if need be and will recommend them to everyone.

Wife called at 3:40pm to say the garage door wasnt working. Called Precision at 4:02pm. They said someone would be there by 6:00pm!!! WOW!! 4:13pm Service Technician Daniel called to say he was on the way. He almost beat me home from the office, even during rush hour! On site at 4:50pm, Garage door fixed PERFECTLY (showed me and showed how it was balanced) by 6:13pm!!! Now thats what I call service. Wont use anyone else. Nice job Daniel!!!

My initial experience was not good. I was not happy with charges. However, Service was great. Rep cane in on time and he keep me informed his transition time. Customer service manager call me and apologized me for work was not done in my satisfactory. He offer me to fixed it right without any additional charge. I decided second option at that time therefore he issue refund for that worked. I am satisfy with their service and it was fare. Manager went above and beyond to make sure customer is happy. Great customer service.

On Feb. 21st. I had your company come install a new garage door opening and belt. The service agent was fine but I feel I was way over charged, being a senior women in SCW. Many people have agreed with that. Also it may not have needed the complete set, as the door switch was not marked and was turned off. The next day the opener did not work, as the switch got turned off, by mistake, so I called your company and two techs. came out and checked all the outlets and said the one connecting the opener was not getting power. Neither one of them checked the switch by the door. I had to call an Electrician the next day and he walked into my garage and went right to the switch and turned it on, for a $65.00 service fee. A very bad experience for me just moving into this condo.

Positive from start to finish. The office staff was outstanding in explaining all the options available. The doors were ordered and after they were delivered the installer, Johnny, was outstanding. The installation went perfectly and Johnny explained all functions of the doors and new door opener. Total installation time was completed quickly in just hours, although we were expecting it to take almost all day (boy were we happy!) The doors are really handsome, and make the front of the house look great, and they work perfectly!!!

Good experience. Easy to schedule. The only day we had available was Sunday and they were able to come out in the morning and get the job complete. We had a new garage door opener installed and Ryan did a great job with the installation and explaining the operation, etc. He also was very thorough upfront explaining what he was going to do and how much it would cost us. The $100 OFF online coupon helped out.

The service rep came at the desired time. He was pleasant and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed our door problem very quickly and did a great job repairing our garage door and applying silicone spray to make it function quieter and smoothly. This is the second time we have used Precision Door and we are entirely satisfied. The minimum charge of $195 is a bit high but the service deserves 5 stars.

Daniel answered the service call promptly at 4. I was told he would come between 4 - 6 so that was great that he was right here at 4. He was very knowledgeable of his profession and explained in easy to understand language what needed to be done. Serviceman arrived on time, after contacting me to let me know he was on his way, found the problem, for which I need an electrician, and left without charging me anything. Precision installed the opener several years ago, and both time I received great service. They are an example how one does customer service and great work.

Our garage door hinge cracked in two resulting in the door not shutting. Precision Door Service came to repair it the next morning. The service person showed up right on time and was friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. The companys owner followed up with a telephone call to me the following day wanting to ensure that all went well. We would definitely use them again and would recommend the company to others.

Young man came over right away. Took care of my situation with a better quality part that will last 3X more than what i would have purchased. I am a very handy person but due to Vinny and his get it done attitude and overall was able to get me on board to let him get it done. Very happy with work ethic and very helpful attitude. I give my recommend for a precision to have Vinny to work at your home.

Sebastian and Dave were great! Very knowledgeable and explained everything. Made sure I knew about when and how to service and got a lifetime warranty on their repairs. Highly recommended. Sebastian was explaining new opener and Dave couldnt reach the training button, Sebastian was right there reminding Dave he had a ladder in his hand! Very nice people!

Second garage door opener decided to quite. Used Precision Door for first garage door opener last year and was very happy with install. Unfortunately, mechanical drive went on the fritz about 9 months later and Precision Door was out the same day and replaced the unit, no charge. Had them back for second garage door opener when it decided to die after 20 years and they provided the same great service. Technician very professional and provided a complete explanation of why openers failed and features of new units.

Ive been a happy Precision Door customer for the past 4 years. When my current garage door opener decided not to work a few weeks ago, I called Precision, and they dispatched a senior technician, who arrived within a few hours, and installed a new direct-drive opener, re-programmed my exterior key pad, and provided 2 new remotes within the next 90 minutes. Garage doors arent very exciting until yours doesnt work - Precision has been great.

Jess came to the house early with same day service. Did a great job. He cleaned up all of the old wiring and previous installation problems. Very helpful with setup. He even programmed our vehicles. I highly recommend Jess and Precision Door Service. They do great work at a reasonable price.

Excellent service. Called ahead. Gave time window. Here on time. Dude wasnt even here 18 minutes had been rollers installed, 2 torsion springs done. One broke only had one previous. Next customer he needs to warm up or get em ready...lol excellent excellent all around. Even helped with my keypad and got that working. Price was good offered 3 different packages. And also offered a few discounts. Just totally awesome and pleased. Will be using again if any problems.

This is the second time I’ve used Precision Door. They replaced a broken spring which lasted over 8 years. Well I broke another spring so naturally I called Precision again. Sebastian arrived promptly as scheduled he inspected the door and stated my springs were still under warranty. We discussed some other issues he saw. There was no hard sell or pressure to upgrade anything. He gave me all the options and I opted for the lifetime warrantyon all parts. Sebastian and his trainee worked diligently and professionally upgrading the entire system including some tweaks to make the extremely heavy door function with the opener more efficiently. They made sure everything was perfect and that I was completely happy. I received a follow up call from the office to make sure I was satisfied with their work and if I had any questions or concerns. I am more than happy and a customer for life. I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors and to everyone in Phoenix. Great quality, customer service and company. I have used Precision for 8 years and this is the first time I thought to leave a comment. Shame on me, they are always on time really friendly and always provide great service. When I ask about a particular service or repair they are very honest and let me know when I really dont need that repair now and wait until the next service or give it a few more months and we will come out and check it. Simply AWESOME and I highly recommend them.

The spring on our garage door broken upon my arrival at home one evening last week. Within 1 hour of placing a call after 5 PM to Precision Door Service, Sebastian and Ryan arrived and replaced the springs quickly and efficiently with a professional attitude and service within 1 hour. We recently needed a garage door expert to give us a written statement that our garage door opener was installed correctly to satisfy a home inspector who said it was installed incorrectly. We called Precision Garage Door in Scottsdale and the service was excellent. Daniel H-Malanoski Came out this morning to replace our garage door. He was on time, clean, friendly, knowledgeable and organized. He explained what he was going to do in a clear and precise manner and I let him get to work. As he finished he took the extra steps to clean the door completely, lubricate everything even the operator that he did not replace. He used touch up paint and fixed any scratches caused by shipping. He finished up by leaving his work space cleaner then it was before he arrived. I gladly tipped him for taking the extra steps that I did not expect. Bottom line is, he did an exceptional job and I applaud the company for hiring quality employees who care about what they do and the service they provide. This company made sure it was done as quickly as possible. The sales team that came out did a great job as well. One week from quote to completion. Thank you for a job well done.

Within about 30 minutes of calling, I heard from the technician and he was here about 30 minutes later. He gave me a couple of options regarding replacing my springs with a warranty. He did excellent work, answered my questions and had my door working again. It was pricey, but you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend Precision!

Chris came out after the chain simply fell off the track. He knew exactly what the problem was and explained thoroughly why it happened. The repair costs was expensive, but perhaps not out of line for the necessary work. Chris replaced the parts that needed were shot and worked with me on the payment. I now have a door that should not give me any problems for many more years to come. I highly recommend Chris: thorough, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and more.

He spent time with us explaining our options and helped us set up the app to use our phones to operate the door as well as monitor its usage. The first time was for a new garage door late at night and they not only came out quickly but stayed until 1:00 AM installing it.
