I’ve been going to “The House of Rice” for 27 years and have never been disappointed. Service is great. Merchandise terrific and I love the owner. No complaints allowed.

I come here for the Dutch products. Especially the Drop (licorice). Very fresh,and a large selection when I visited.

It is scheduled to close after Feb 2021, been a go to store for my whole life in South Scottsdale - happy retirement

Pretty small selection for groceries and disappointing prices. They sell other Asian things so that’s nice. The cash registrar was kinda cute.

Great little Asian market. It doesnt have everything, but it has the Asian pantry essentials that save me from having to drive 30-45 minutes to the Asian markets in East Valley. Highly recommend for Asian kitchen staples. Just know its a smaller selection than going to Mekong or Asiana.

Went to fill a prescription here and had excellent customer service from the pharmacist, both guys Ive met are fantastic and actually seem to genuinely care, hard to find nowadays.

I love this little store. I wish they had a wider variety of Ramen and osenbei. The pottery is pretty, and just so you know- They no longer sell the shooter sizes of umeshu

I’ve always had good memories going here with my mom ever since i was really little and the owner has always been so nice and sweet to us. my mother has always gone here to pick up necessities for whenever we decide to make Mizutaki or other Japanese dishes and this place always has exactly what we need. i haven’t been here in a while but i hope i can come soon 💓💓

This a great place to find hard to find Asian, and some Dutch, foods and supplies. I mainly go here to pick up Arizona Sake. It has been rated as one of the top sakes in the world, both at the 2018 Tokyo Sake Competition and the 2019 LA Wine Competition. They have both 500ml and 750ml bottles.

Absolutely love this store!!! They have many different Asian foods to pick from and teas too. The freezer and the refrigerators have souch a wonderful selection. The house of rice also carries many Asian cultural items such as Totoro, tools, books just to name a few. I always walk out of the store smiling about the groceries that I just bought.

Ive purchased some pho spoons and bowls here. Great quality goods. They have an amazing assortment of Asian spices, eating utensils miscellaneous items.The staff are also very friendly.

Im from Holland and was pleased to find a store that sells real Dutch food and candy. The prices were not bad at all for Dutch imported food. I found Dutch liquirice, cookies, and condiments. Will make this a regular grocery stop.

Great place to shop for unique items! Wonderful selection of rices, Asian condiments, serving bowls, etc. You can find stuff here that will never show up in your local grocery.

Super convenient and close. Employees are very personable and very helpful :) not a supermarket though, has a small fresh produce section and a surprising amount of unusual asian items. They also have a nice selection of dutch foods like licorice, breakfast cakes, chocolate, etc.

Scottsdales best Asian market. Okay, only Asian market. Around half of the floor space is groceries and the other half is novelties, its too small to expect a true supermarket experience. Yet they always seem to have what I came looking for and then some. Great Sriracha pricing; good sake selection; specialty ingredients galore.

This. Place has great sushi knives. Lots of japanese stuff. Thai not so much.

Its a very nice little shop if you are looking for East Asian food items or just some trinkets you can find it here and the staff is very nice.

I love this store. Close to home and has what I need at very fair prices. Fresh lemon grass & Kafir Lime leaves fish paste, frozen spring rolls, fresh chilies, giant bottle of siracha for about $4.00. Lots of cool cooking utensils too. Fun store to check out.

Love this shop for everything asian. I got some kimchee. Small store but I could poke around in there for 2 hours. Food, tea, ceramic cups, chopsticks, rice, seasonings, imported seasoning mixes from around the world!

I found this little store when looking for a place to buy some of the Dutch treats I grew up with. They have a good selection for a small store, and of course some good Asian food, kitchen and other things.

Nice little gem that Ive overlooked for years. Mostly sells goods but also has a tiny market. Finally, I can easily find daifuku and inari wrappers without driving to Chandler or Glendale. Yay!

Its a okay store, but I expected to see more groceries and drinks. They didnt have any unsweetened green tea drinks that are sold in every asian store. They only had them in cans, but not bottles. Not a big selection of candy either. I got me the last almond pockys. But they do have a good variety of dishes and japanese decorations.
