My fiancees home away from home. Shes big into crafts so we stopped for knitting supplies. Its amazing just how big this place is once you get inside. There is a huge selection of supplies for the areas of crafting youre into. The employees are a big help too.

Very clean and reasonable prices and friendly staff and many things for sewing and painting. little wood premade stuff to paint and many artificial flowers that look very real to set them up the way you like and many more fun things you can do all kind of sewing and yarn supplies and fabrics +more to much stuff to mention!!! Every craft item you can think of. Not crowded, large isles and very helpful employees. If your looking for any All crafts thisll be the place to shop.

It was worth the one hour drive because they had everything my wife needed unlike our local store. It was also much bigger and better laid out and was a quick in and out.

The customer service was extremely helpful. When my son and I went in the store with just an idea. We only knew what we were there for. We didnt know where in the store it was or how much we needed when we found it. The girl that helped us brought it all into perspective for us. She showed us what kinds there were and what would be best for our application. She also suggested the right amount without overselling to us. It was just nice to be able to go into a store and come out in a better mood than what I went in with. The service here is extremely helpful and the store is awesome. If you need something arts and crafts related this is the best store I have found around. They have the best selection over Michaels and Walmart. So I would recommend them all day long.

Place is super busy just like a black Friday so be prepared. Staff was excellent and courteous. They are cleaning between customer transactions. Found some great clearance deals, a sale on jewelry and yarn and I got to use several coupons from the app!!! Thumbs up

They are clen and practice social distancing . The staff is good and helpful and I see them always cleaning. I purchased a lot of fabric to make masks for giving and the girls all thought that was great. My biggest negative feedback is their coupon policy. I needed to replace my sewing machine recently and coupons didnt apply,its unfortunate because after making hundreds of masks for St.Joes and the Jewish Nursing home ect. Paying full price to replace the machine was tough . The machine I wanted was Singer 3342, the machine was in stock at 179.99 but not eligible for 20% coupon. I went to Hobby Lobby and purchased for 149.99.

Nice, big, clean store, checkout agent was great. Fabric cutter with blue hair left much to desire. Kept telling me what I could and could not do with my project, said my desired yardage was wrong. I bought an extra yard than I wanted and covered 2 more display chairs than I said and had a yard and a half left. I didnt get the fabric I wanted cause she argued it wasnt enough. I had to pick a second choice. And she was put off I didnt buy more fabric as she said, and I didnt need!

Lady cutting fabric very very rude. Maybe shldnt work with ppl. Had every other character but not one troll fabric. Use to have bins with lace and craft stuff for children but now nothing. Very disappointed and hate rude ppl. Guess order from else where on line.

My wife really likes joanns. I have bought a good deal of fabric here and they are always really great quality. My wifes first machine was from here and still works great after 4 years.

Good fabrics, a little pricey (but material has gotten very expensive in general) good selection, friendly costumer service. Sometimes deals may not automatically ring up at register. Clean store & organized.

I went to the location in dickson city PA 1-9-21 4pm looking for non thread bearing fleece, the fabric was for my pet so it was very important that it was exactly what I was looking for, not everything is labeled that way, the workers were extremely helpful, looking on their phones and making sure I got exactly what I needed and that it was bird friendly, I could not ask for better service, thank you amber eva tara and anyone else I forgot, I immensely appreciate it! You all went above and beyond.

Lovey, I needed to make a dress for my dog Pukie, and take had everything I needed, It was pink and gray and all the trimmings, oh! So lovely, my heart just went out the window.

Heather (I think) went above and beyond customer service. Not always most friendly but have good products and variety.

One of the most unprofessional stores Ive ever been in. The workers know hardly anything about sewing and barely even know where things are. The store seems to never have enough of the fabric I need... you would think they would order more of a fabric once they were running low. One of the women cutting my fabric had dirty hands and got dirt all over the WHITE fabric. Overall the store rarely has what I need, the aisles arent labeled, and the workers and setting are overall unprofessional.

I bought a scrapbook on Saturday December 21st and the package was ripped but I loved it so thought oh well I dont need the packaging anyway so I bought it for 21.99..I went to put the pages I made into it all the plastic pages were torn at the top..so of course with receipt the scrapbook goes back to store for a return only to be told by a not so nice person that the receipt didnt match the scrapbook and it was NOT purchased there...It was the 1st and now will be the LAST TIME,..I will ever step foot in the store and further more my Aunts that buy tons of fabric there will NEVER shop there again after I told them what happened to me. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS..THANKS FOR NOTHING...now I have a scrapbook I cant use and am 22.oo dollars in the hole

Went to Joann’s for a couple items today and got the same experience I always get at this store. One checkout person at the registers when I arrived. Now just from the number of people in the store, I could tell it was going to be a long visit. Again.Turns out one register was down, but that was never communicated to anyone standing and waiting. All we could see was one other employee walking around, on the phone, appearing to be helping a customer on the phone.The manager came out when the only register working went down. That’s when we figured out what was going on. Manager never talked to us. Never apologized. Never informed us what happened so that maybe we could leave and get out of this situation that was causing it to get crowded and hamper our social distancing efforts.Always a disappointing experience when I go here. They never put the customer first. I always see others around when I am in line and they never jump in to help checkout.Not going here anymore.Note: This review is for the Scranton, Pennsylvania store on RT 6 / Carbondale Highway

Mt first time in this store and I can definitely say it will also be my last!!! The women working seemed like she was bothered by my needing her assistance and she was extremely rude like she didnt want to help us at all...so needless to say we put everything back and went on our way without any merchandise!! I can say it was an awful experience

I ordered, online, yarn to make a blanket. The quantity I ordered was not satisfied. Although they only charged me for what they shipped. They never told me of the shortage when I ordered or when it was shipped. I would have canceled. It was useless to me unless I had it all. Customer service is a JOKE! No person you can talk to. They only accept emails that they dont answer. Beware of this seller. A total waste of my time. Just another case of screw you and use covid19 as an excuse.

Full of products. Also NO ONE available to HELP OUT on the FLOOR. Only two people working on a weekend. Neither of them could answer my questions for my daughters project at school. All about fabric, elastic and thread thickness. They were clueless. It was a DISGRACE.

Not much selection, cranky clerks, confusing coupons, and higher prices!

Horrible store in my opinion. Yes, they have more fabric than a sweatshop in China, but with that said, the rest of the store is filled with overpriced junk. I asked some store staff if they carry bamboo cane. I got a resounding NO. I asked if they carry leather to make belts, and again, NO. A week later I asked if they carry anything to patch a faux leather couch and one more time, it was NO. Finally I asked if they have rubber tips for appliance bottoms to stop sliding, and of course the answer was NO.If youre looking for material, this is the place. Dont know about prices, but have fun. Dont bother for anything else.

I shop here frequently because I love their yarn selection and i usually have coupons. HOWEVER, their customer service at the check out counter leaves much to be desired. They are seriously borderline rude EVERY time I go in. Not just isolated encounters. They act like Im inconvienincing them by trying to buy products and are not even remotely friendly. Seriously considering taking my business elsewhere...

I love Joans they always have what Im looking for and at reasonable prices. Most of the time when I come they have wonderful sales and you can get coupons on line. Its great.

Jo Ann Fabrics is much more than just a fabric store. I find lots of craft supplies for things like jewelry, papercrafts, cake decorating, yarn, felting, etc. Its a full service craft store. Staff is usually knowledgeable, and you dont have to wait more than a few minutes to have fabric cut. They also have cute fairy garden decorations and Halloween supplies.

I really love the variety of fabrics and threads. I went here to get fabric for my FCS class and it was hard to pick what to get since there were so many great choices. The staff were a little rude but overall I liked the store and I will be coming again.

Some of the people know their game... others not so much. I had to forfeit a piece of fabric because it was cut wrong and there wasnt enough material to re-cut... disappointment. Go during the day when the kids are not working. Experienced Seamstress w/ 15+ years... trust me the night time employees dont know anything. Couldnt even tell me where the handles for purses were hidden. Not where you would expect btw.

Store is neat and clean, pretty quiet. The staff is knowledgeable but good luck getting someone to actually show you where things are located. Theyll point and say things like over there or on the back wall. Finding someone to help is a small task too (its like theyreall hiding.. even in fabrics!) No one really smiles or greets with ENERGY however they always have some sort of sale and take returns if in-fact you do get the wrong item. If you sign up for their coupons theyll get sent in the mail and once in a blue to your phone. I prefer Michaels (They arent OVERPRICED) & theyre just 3 to 4 mins further but will stop at Joanns if I have a nice sized coupon or rebate.. This store is okay. Just wish it werent so hard finding someone & staff was friendlier. I dont like feeling as if Im bothering you at work..
