What a great store - old school!The guy that helped me out was awesome- the store was busy and he made sure I had several style options to try on.Not sure what the 1 Star folks were expecting but they must have been having a bad day

Wow got six different prices on three pairs of boots. Then accused me of making things up. Circus anyone. To bad, decent selection if you can figure out the clustered unorganized state of the place.

This place has been here for years,well respected,well stocked, and the Plotkin family have know what thet are doing for years. But catering to a very specific clientele.

This place is trash. There are shoes pulled all over, falling off of shelves, stacked all over the floor... Some of the boxes are so old they are dry rotting falling apart. Other boxes have water stains on them. These shoes that are clearly 10+ years old are STILL FULL PRICE. I went here with simple requirements, and they had no shoes that met the requirements. This is why Amazon is winning.

Called to ask if they carried size 15 boots. Was told If I don`t I`ll order it, then they hung up. Fair Enough. Drove all the way there, paid the meter, and was greeted by a locked door, a lit OPEN sign, and a note that said BE BACK IN 20 Min.. No thanks...

Dont expect flash. They are very old school, but I like that. My adult son needed work boots with a steel toe. I knew from a friend that this place specializes in work boots so I took my son there. The smell of leather hits you at the door. The array of work boots is dizzying. Real work boots for real men whom dont need a pampered buying experience.

BAD!!! At 4:15pm the owner or store clerk is outside smoking, open sign is up. And he tells me he is closing... At 4:15pm?!?!? I was wearing broken boots and just wanted to quickly purchase a pair of Carolina composite toe boots. He wouldnt finish his cigarette to take care of a customer. I do NOT recommend this store. The Internet has better customer service!

My son was trying to pick up his boots after three trips and them not being there. Finally, 2 weeks later (now being told the factory closed down for a few days then the fedx truck broke down.) today he gets to the counter and asks ..to get them....the guy behind the counter on the phone says I have to leave, comes back an hour later. I told my son I would have told them to keep the boots and left. How rude is that?? How long would it have taken him to check my son out and then he could have left. Ignorant for a business.

They put new heals on my Carolinas the repair guy was gonna try to put a pair on that. They had in stock but the boss Lenny said no and ordeed the exact ones perfict job well done
