Was overcharged for damages that they claimed I did. They stick to their, You didnt accept the insurance and we found the damage. However, they wouldnt let me actually verify the damage and the pictures they provided me didnt show any damage. They also informed me they must replace everything despite claiming 1 object [A chain hook] was damaged. Emailed, called, and spoke personally with representatives. No resolution. Make sure you mark everything damaged when you rent. Otherwise, theyll find a way to charge you.

Was moving and was forced to go to Scranton to get the moving truck I needed. The employee there didnt explain any of the extra charges or pretty much anything that was needed to know about renting the u haul. Ended up paying more then double what was told to us when we picked it up. Very frustrating.

The uhaul service for the truck was great. Moving Help was a company which was supposed to provide me with moving assistance. No movers showed up to the confirmed date, I was charged over $400.00, and had a very difficult time getting in touch with anyone to rectify the situation or get reimbursed. At this time, I still have not received a refund or have been able to speak with a person about this problem.

Just wanted to send a Big Thank You to Jim and staff at 375 n.7th st . We left our key at home in Florida plus had some boxes and stuff that had to leave by behind . Jim and staff went above and beyond to help us and made our trip home safe. Great staff . Keep up the great work guys. God Bless.

Today I went to go rent a trailer for a motorcycle at 7:30 for my appointment I guess it was too close to closing because nobody wanted to help me. One of the employees told me they closed at eight and I better have it out of there by 8:01 if not they can refund me. Another employee said he gets off at 8 o’clock insinuating he would fight me because I was mad that they would not help me. Jim the manager was no help at all and didn’t care that his employees weren’t doing anything to D escalate a situation that a customer had. They even went as far as to call the cops because i wouldn’t leave past 8:15.

The customer service in store is great but the connection to their online services is super weak. Id recommend only buying items in-store. I ordered a ball and ball mount that I never received and wanted a refund for the product. Even with providing the reservation number, the product number and my credit card number that I purchased it with the store associate could not provide me the $26.45 refund after 10 minutes of being on the phone. I was then referred to the credit card customer service phone number which I spent another 15 minutes waiting on after providing all the details yet again. Once again, I was referred to the Buyers Club because I reserved the item through an online purchase. I call this other 800 number only to be overwhelmed by ads and Youve just won BS that I had to wait 5 minutes to get through and then hung up on. Thats how these online things get you. Theyve got my money his time but never again. What a sham the online service is.

Well my experience was good until I checked my bank statement!!! As if moving isnt expensive enough!! They told my payment as expected and then 4 days later took a payment again leaving my account in the negative 😠 Im livid. Ive never put my account in the negative. Thanks Uhaul. 😠

Needed packing boxes and materials for a big move, has a great selection of items that other stores didnt have, staff was very helpful with suggestions based on their other customers experiences, nice to have the benefit of this knowledge for a once in a life time big move. Thanks for your help!

We made a reservation to have a hitch installed and rent a 5x8 trailer at this location. We drove 90 minutes to get here on a Friday because we had an emergency trip and when we arrived we were told there was no one to install and there was nothing they could do. They had also misquoted the price of the install and charged our credit card before any of the work was ever done. To make matters worse i had asked the cuatomer service rep repeatedly if the price and time were correct and she confirmed. When we filed the complaint they told us it would take up to 5 business days for them to get back to us. Customer care at its finest!

We needed to rent a U-Haul 26 foot truck in Cortland N.Y. and the only available truck was at this facility in Scranton, Pa. When I went to pick up the truck, the counter clerk told me that I had to pay the mileage from Scranton to Cortland + then the total mileage of our trip from Cortland to Lexington Park, Md. In essence the trip mileage should have been calculated from Cortland, N.Y. to Lexington Park. They forced me to pay to move their truck to the destination where I should have been able to pick up the truck originally. I have since been in touch with the Scranton distribution center who refunded me the mileage monies that I had to pay to move their truck from Scranton, Pa. to Cortland, N.Y. where my usage should have originated for a pick-up to drop-off one way trip. The people that I dealt with in the Scranton U-Haul pick-up facility were rude and could have cared less about my concerns. They were not willing to do the right thing which forced me to seek a refund from the Scranton Distribution Center.

Had a hitch for a bike rack installed. Very friendly and helpful staff along with great service. Prices were also very reasonable.

EDDIE Suarez(sp) was honestly the best employee experience I have ever had. I was beyond stressed and he was so Informative and helpful that I would choose this location over any other!!!!

We were traveling from Maine to Savannah Ga and one of the trailer tires was down to 15 psi. We pulled into UHaul unannounced and Chris greeted us right away even though he was helping another customer. He had another associate, Josh, check the tire and he found a hole. It was a Sunday so there wasn’t a mechanic on duty to change the tire. By policy the only option was to go through uhaul road assistance which would have been very time consuming. Instead, Chris went ahead and changed the tire himself and gave us some last minute advice we weren’t aware of about the trailer hitch. Josh was friendly and helpful and Chris took charge and got things done. Thanks to you both!

My stuff was safe and sound, and I love that they have an area where you can get gently used free items.

They are really helpful, it is a bit of a surprise when you think you are renting a truck for 19.95 and then you get a final bill of $100. Mileage, Insurance, environmental, etc. So I gave the three stars not for the staff they are very nice, but for the bs charges that seems to pad the bill
