Ocean State Job Lot is just a really cool place to shop. The international foods that it stocks are just so fun to look through and try out. And, of course, it has a ton of other really useful stuff as well.I took my sister to it yesterday specifically to show her around and she was just giddy with delight about the things she found, like pickled cabbage and oh I cant remember all the things! Just go and see for yourself--and bring a friend along, too.When was the last time you had fun shopping for food?

A great selection of goods you wont find in other stores. For example you can buy a natural flavored honey from Israel in this shop or you can buy canned pickled herring from Poland or sweet dark chocolate from Switzerland or some summer clothes you need for the summer trip.

I love browsing through any OSJL and this one is always very neat and very well maintained. Love the full selection of Bobs Red Mill products and the Crazy Deals are hard to beat. The recently reduced hours are a bummer, but NH has the lowest minimum wage in New England and this store has to compete for staff in a packed retail area of Seabrook, which is just over the state line from Massachusetts where the minimum wage is almost double. Staffing the store has been a challenge, apparently. Understandable, of course.

I love Job lots for some things, but its not my go-to place. Every other solar light Ive bought there Ive had to bring back or couldnt. Plus two collapsible hoses later...last yrs sprung a leak, couldnt find receipt... Bought a new better one and that broke too. I dont drag it across pavement or tar..and I dont leave them full constantly... I take care of my things... Thank goodness I had receipt..

Bought a few things all were good with one exception, prices right and checked out by a friendly and competent cashier.Dont buy the beach umbrellas. A friend has several and said theyre great, but warned my only to get the ones with the hing that allows you to tip it, just get a straight pole (without hinge). Well I got the hinge, it was all they had. Very first day in the beach and the hinge breaks. Too bad, the rest of the umbrella looks very durable. Of course I returned it.

Neat, clean. Found exactly what I wanted at a great price and the staff was courteous.

This place has everything from shopping to the most mundane things you can think of. Its awesome Im here 9 times a week lol

I have been to Ocean State Job Lots several times and always find what I need at A good price

Reason being is because i bought a standing fan from them about 2 yrs ago and the motor started smoking and funny noise before..Recomend no fans unless you know the Make before you buy...

Lots and lots of different products. Impossible to see everything in the store. Things are reasonably priced if you can find some good deals and they have some good promotions.

Only two???!!!Then Ill give two reasons..1) I would personally, me, my own opinion...say, way overpriced, they are clean and professional, the staff seems happy ( hoping they make great money-employees need bennies too) and the entire staff here was awesome!!!For that 2 stars.2) over,overly, and seriously over priced.. lose the stars.

I love this store! I go in there for one thing (usually art supplies or coffee pods) and come out with a cartload of things. They sell a 80-pod case of Boston Best coffee for $25 and sometimes have it on sale for $20. They also have crazy low prices on designer clothes when they have them (I have bought NYMJ jeans for $25, that retail for well over $100, and J.Jill shirts for $10). The employees are super friendly and management seems to appreciate them. They were allowed to stay open when the other stores had to close for Covid 19. Not only did they increase the sales associates pay, but they also tacked an extra 2.5% on your purchases (you could opt out) to be pooled as a bonus for sales associates - front line, essential workers. I gladly contributed. Definitely 5 stars!!

Went in for an a.c. plenty in stock. An associate lugged it around the store for me and helped load it in and everything.

I visited this store today and overheard a male customer service representative loudly bad-mouthing Massachusetts residents who want to shop there and had phoned to make sure the store was open. This employee should feel lucky to have a job in a scary time when so many people have lost theirs. He should honor all paying cutomers who are shopping and spending money that make up his paycheck.

This place is one of the cleanest Job lots that I have been too, the staff are very friendly . The always have a great selection of Spices, nuts in the food Isles, and the prices are very good.

I love this store, great selection of household items with great prices. Get thier rewards card and you wont need to clip store coupons. Also a great place to get outdoor gear for camping and the beach, snacks and all.

You can always find some good stuff here. It is my go to place for foil bakeware. They have just about every shape and size you could possibly want. Their spices are a great price.

This store is a trip. You name it and they probably have it. You have to watch the prices because even their discounted item section which is about 12 or more isles long has items that you can find cheaper at other stores. I was looking for zip top gallon freezer bags, if you dont care about brand names which I dont I got 60 gallon bags for $ 3.99. Its a fun place to look around and shop.

Super weird store... never know what youll find - sometimes good, sometimes not. Some prices are great, others so-so. Interesting place to check out from time to time as stock changes regularly. Can be a bit messy at times, and where they put stuff sometimws dowsnt make sense. Note that some OSJLs are better than others...
