This is the most disappointing store Ive ever been to because even though we seen the cashier in charge of the machines not help us she walked right over to someone else and helped them instead and completely disregarded us the entire time our machine light was flashing for help.UPDATE: I visited on Wednesday and everything is better I will be changing my rating because I was helped by the lady in charge of the self checkout machines. Also love their huge donuts. Thank you so much for making an improvement for your customers.

Really great option for when we get to the beach early since it is open early. It is never crowded. Employees are nice. I would recommend getting the app to get the specials because everything is pricey.

This was my home.store in Seal Beach. So when I visit I love stopping in and seeing familiar faces. This store has recently undergone a beautiful redesign. It is a fabulous store with excellent selection, full shelves, and great customer service.

This was my second trip to this store and maybe its just my timing. But it just seems like the quality of produce is not so good. Some items low on stock. Some items sold out completely. Staff are great and wonderful people, store is clean.

Lots of high quality items, good selection of seafood and meat. Wide variety of fruit and vegetables. Cute bakery with a pizza oven. Used the catering deli to make holiday table spreads over the past 5 years. Very broad range of alcohol, hard liquor and beer, also a special section for refrigerated wines. Best yet Starbucks Coffee inside, all staff is super friendly and helpful, very clean store.

A very nice grocery store on PCH. East to access. Obviously a chain. Ample parking but sometimes can be crowded during rush times. It is a part of one of the larger grocery store chains, so under the covers it is not independently run but a part of the usual suspects. None the less a good place and good service.

The staff watched me the entire time. ..and were rude during check out.the manager was cool but not worth the rich people looked up side my head..if u can shop at a different store

I shop here, not only because I live in Sunset, but because its an awesome place to shop. All the employees are super polite and its never too crowded.

Came early for ice for a day at the Beach, perfect location for a few items you may have forgotten.

Recent remodel looks great but the signs that tell you whats on each aisle are too limited and it took me forever to find cleaning supplies which I would think would be a major headline. They have also gone up market so they have a lot of really expensive stuff these days I think trying to compete with whole foods down the street.

This Pavilions grocery store is very well stocked and if you go into this one in the Seal Beach area you will find a case of wine and liquors that are more than what some people make in a week. But they were fun to look at

Similar to Jewel Osco back at home which made me feel comfortable. Id say worth the visit!

Very spacious isles compared to our Ralphs in Marina Pacifica!

Went into visit the flower department. The team there is absolutely outstanding. Super helpful, thoughtful and creative. Totally helped me get everything I needed and on my way quickly and officially. Highly recommend for any flower needs you may have.

Overall a nice place to shop. Everything always looks fresh and the store very clean. Thank you.

Update 11/05/2018:Starbucks cafe: we are out of earl grey tea (tea bags for the tea).Next day the same time: we are still out of earl grey tea.Asked to speak to the manager - no luck.This store is a joke.Update 09/08/2017:This store also sells expired products.Just in 5 mins I found dozen of expired cheese. Photo attached.They fool the customers: in the salad bar they sell the salads like macaroni or crab and shrimp salad for $8.99 per lb, when at the same time you can buy absolutely the same salads in the Deli department just for $3.99 or $6.99, etc. I see it as cheating. Also they removed the self service lanes and now to buy even 1 Sneakers takes forever... Somebody spilled coffee on the floor and it was like that for about 15 mins... No signs. Nothing. Customers began to cover it with napkins and paper towels and to warn each other. Very often no price labels. You have to guess. Nobody in Pavilions cares... It was much better here 2 years ago...

Vons great food shoping

Great staff, great service, excellent prices and location. management, unfortunately, was horrible enough to bring this review all the way down. Rude, passive aggressive, intrusive, and cant even be bothered to wear a mask properly or keep six feet. Wish there was more of an effort to make a customer feel welcome.

Great stores and lots of parking. I shop for groceries, hardware, and get my nails done, my hairdresser and fresh juice are in the same lot.

Employees are always willing to help. I am legally blind and have a hard time finding my items I am in the store for. Even at the register they take their time helping me input my card/pin info. Never try to rush me along. Very appreciated!

Kelly in the bakery dept is such a nice employee. The store remodeling is not a hindrance but a look into what is to come. They are really fine tuning some areas.

Nice, big store with wide aisles. Great selection of everything! Very clean store.

Was able to purchase my needed items while maintaining reasonable social distancing.

While this specific store has made some significant enhancements (bakery, deli, meats) it is difficult to locate items. Produce selections are very limited to basics. Some items have not been found on the shelves (mixes) for so long I cant remember (e.g. Krustez Triple Chocolate Cookie). The staff is helpful and thats a plus. Pricing is a not a plus.

Friendly cashiers, clean and nice store

Today was the 2nd time a Pavilion employee put my health at risk & made me feel uncomfortable because my skin color is not white but Im an American caucasian woman. Im an instacart employee & a Pavilions cashier had me risk my life because they wanted me to take my face mask off to show them my face because they believed I was younger than what my ID stated- NOT OK.Thousands of people are dead because of covid 19 & a cashier put my health at risk when it wasnt necessary as Im an instacart employee & a young cancer patient.Today I felt the same intensity from a cashier but I think it was because they were sick. They were coughing & immensely irritated. Its hard enough having to deal with death & poverty during these times. It would be nice if grocery employees were less agitated towards customers since everyone needs groceries all the time.

The cashier got mad and was rude because I used food stamps EBT card. Were in a pandemic. Do you think I want to use EBT card to get food? No. Just trying to get by in crazy times.

Best Grocery Store in seal beach

I got a nice healthy snack to take to the beach. an awesome clerk helped me in the produce department pick something out. Great service and a smile! She even thanked me! Wow, usually at 62 you are invisible to clerks. Definitely going back. I felt welcomed. This was a nice clean, modern store with decent prices. Good location near the beach, too.

Over priced grocery store. I paid over $22.00 dollars for five large apples.

Not usually crowded, good COVID-19 precautions, accessible location.

This store is like most vons clean well stocked nice employees fresh fruits and vegetables. My only complement is that the deli has very little verity it’s always the same things and their not great. And that they always run out of the jalapeño bagels since everyone wants them why don’t they just make more since their are customers who want them

Please enforce the wearing of masks--I had to speak to some teenage kids who were running around the store w/o them. Thats my only comment--otherwide everything at Pavillions is great!!!

I went in there this morning and my Starbucks Coffee never taste like Starbucks.. thats my third time going there.. I had to go to another one..I would go to the vegetable section and I asked the workers who was cutting up fruit and vegetables a question it seems like they always have a cold and theyre sick from being in the freezer and I asked him why are you always sick they said theyre not allowed to wear Hoods over there heads.I dont know whats wrong with this store but these are some good workers and I hope carpet looks into this because someone cant even get sick

This is my favorite Vons. This has the best small wrap sandwiches and excellent choice of foods for small servings. Pickup great dips, olives etc for parties!

My local store, so Im biased. Great deli and meat counter. Hugh selection of wine and beer. Great produce too. Like most stores its well laid out. Stocked well, a big variety of products both local and nation brands. But the number one thing I love about this store, COOKIES! They have this artisin candy kiosk. Some seriously tasty cookies here. This is a must try. I got addicted to the things so venture at youre own risk. Great story with great people in a convenient location. Be sure to try a cookie.

Huge grocery store with huge prices! why would I pay $6 for a 12-pack of diet Coke when I can go next door and get it for $2.99?

They carry mostly everything. More upscale, If they dont have, they will get it for you.

As much I dont like the products / quality of this store and prices. I have to still give them lot of start for the good bread ! ( 1 Star less, trying to sell day old bread for full price) Hard to find good bread at other stores.. Usually I end up there buying bread.. sometimes fruits if on sale. Rest of the products are not interesting for me ! Whole Foods down the street bigger selection and some products way better prices!

Wonderful grocery store

Store carries a vast selection of wines along with the regular grocery items. They also sell hot food items which I had the pleasure to try out some of it and it was really good. The staff here are friendly and very helpful and if the person cant help they will go out of there way and ask another team member to assist. All in all not a bad place to go grocery shopping.

I always shopped at this Pavilions in Seal Beach when I lived in the area years ago. The primary reasons are 1: they always had plastic bags available and did not ban them when L.A. County locations such as Long Beach did...thank God for Orange County...Even when the hippy, granola, feel good anti-bag law took effect in Orange County, forcing stores to charge for bags, Pavilions still had the option of plastic bags. 2: they always had self check-out until 2014.The moment Albertsons and Safeway merged and they decided to get rid of self check-out is the moment I stopped shopping here. Albertsons/Safeway thought it was a great idea to get rid of self check-out completely instead of investing the time and money into it. They even attempted to sell the general public on the idea that the reason they did it was because they and the customers wanted that personal touch and feel of dealing with cashiers and baggers. That is such B.S.!!I refuse to go to stores that do not have self check-out. I have no tolerance for slow and/or bad service today. Im in Seal Beach all the time and began returning to this store a few months ago when I accidentally came to this store (forgetting they no longer had self check-out) to get a few things. The moment I walked into the store, I realized they had self check-out. It was great.Thanks for getting with the times and returning the self check-out!
