Great customer service here. Kinda packed but its ok. The ladies here were very nice. One in particular . Cant remember her name but she was super sweet to my daughter showing her all her little pins on her apron. Really nice lady. Thanks for making shopping here a great experience. ππ»

Good home depot, but it has room for improvement. 1/3 mobility scooters was out of order and the other two had dead batteries. Had to push grandma around the store. One of the four self check outs was out of order as well.

Despite all the good reviews given to this store,I do not find anything positive to base this review on. Every time I have shopped at Home Depotit has been an unsatisfactory event. As an 81 year old reasonably intelligent woman and one, who is kind, and courteous to people it alwaysamazes me, when a store shows lack of good Customer Service.I have lived alone, a long time and so when I can I take care of itemsthat I can fix around my home, I do it. So, my visit to Home Depot yesterday 7/19/21 was to find a way to use a piece of glass fora table I had purchased.After about 15 minutes or so, of wandering up and down the aisles,an employee saw me and asked if he could be of help. I was delighted,and relieved that someone was going to help me. However, after theemployee had shown me to a shelf of goods, where one of the itemsmight work with the glass, his phone rang and he spoke to someoneturned to me, and said I have to help this person I will be backHe walked away, and even though I waited for him to come back,he never did. A female employee must have seen me waiting atthe shelf and she came over to see what she could do. Her namecame over and helped me-her name was Laura. Laura, was lovelyand some of the hurt and even humiliation I had suffered, wasnegated. Still and all, the male employees behavior, only added to myfeeling of disdain for this store.Home Depot, clearly does not need me as a customer but I hopethat my comments are of some value, and will be noticed.Home Depot sells merchandise, that is important to the buildingof homes, and what can be more important than that. However,they are failing in my opinion, to do what is so rudimentary-take care of all customers and in doing so, make them feelworthwhile, and important to their business. In passing I need tomention I saw another customer (a man with lumber) shout atan employee about something he found unfair. He said I havespent thousands of dollars in this store He was clearly very upset.It was a telling scene and somehow made me feel vindicated, andall the more determined to write this review.Something for employees and their managers to ponder on:One day in the late 1950s an old woman dressed very simply inblack, entered a very famous and upscale New Your DepartmentStore. As she approached the counter, the sales clerk saw herand said Madam, the bargain items are in the basementThe woman did not say anything but just left the floor.About 5 minutes later, the phone on the sales clerks counterrang: It was the manager of the store and he said in a veryangry voice Miss Thompson you just sent the mother of theman who owns this store, to the Bargain BasementThere has to be a lesson in all of this. That sales clerk hadno consideration at all for the woman in black; thought thatshe was poor and not even worthy of her attention. Sheinstead dismissed her to the Bargain Basement. CustomerService is not just about efficiency and good service it is aboutcaring and humanity too..
It is amazing two separate times when I asked different employees about the product I presented to them if it had a different function that I was looking for in that particular product because some do ...due to the instructions on the package wasnt clear...Both answered with confusion yet confident in their rambling and said I think it does then they continued to supposed how it worked..Never a clear and precise / correct answer in the functionality of the product.Upon handing the product back to me they reiterated their speculation by using the same phrase in their explanation...I think .( My question to Home Depot is why is it when customers spend their time to come to Home Depot, look for an product, then look for assistance then get and answer I think.This is not the first time nor for others..I just took time out of my day to address it..I will say that the employees were sincere however what is missing and it is obviously is the lack of proper training & expectation in dealing with customers...and it seems to be a tread at Home Depot and accepted by the corporation, regional and store managers...Some employees will only rise to the level that is expected and accountable for, that includes management.
Got some Furniture Sliders for My TV Stand and other Furniture. They have a good selection to choose from.
10 bags of mulch and 3 of potting soil for under $50 is probably the best deal in the area.
Some of the employees here are so nice and helpful, especially Lucas. He was very attentive to my needs and answered all of my questions. I would give this place 5 stars based solely on my experience with Lucas. However, Iβm rating them 1 star because management seems to treat their employees horribly! Iβm disgusted with the way I heard the manager speak to one their staff members. Hopefully in the near future theyβll get rid of the terrible managers, and promote more people like Lucas to a management role.
Alondra in the flooring department and Dorian on the forklift is who you want to go see. Very knowledgeable, professional, and kind!! She was able to quickly and kindly find all of our needs and answer all of our questions. She made sure our experience was great and easy. We loved Home Depot from the start, but people like her make it all the better. As we were loading the pallet, Dorian handled it with precise and that can be hard to find. No dings on the truck, smooth and fast! Thank you guys so much!
Fairly solid store I wish they had more of the Milwaukee cordless items and personally but all in all solid good all around store.

Dont EVER expect them to pick up your phone calls. I have rang for 6 -10 mins at a time, on different days and on different months. Nor should you expect them to tell you that your order is ready for pickup right when it comes in. Staff inside the store once youre there are generally very pleasant and helpful. But Im still very upset that they dont pick up which means I have to guess when my products will come in and drive over just to confirm. Ive once received an email confirming the expected delivery date, I drove over 2 days later for them to tell me it still wasnt ready. Very frustrating. Im referring to Seaside, Home Depot. Your operations and procedures needs to be reevaluated.
I needed new flooring for my kitchen and Alondra in the flooring department was extremely helpful! She really listened to my needs and was able to help me find exactly what I was looking for. Dorian is an amazing forklift driver and was wonderful! He wrapped the the pallet that we needed and put the whole thing in our truck. Overall amazing experience.

Be careful with rentals. Rented something and they asked me for protection. I said no. The guy working there on 5/22/21 added it anyway. Returned it within 4hr rental and charged me for full day. Spoke to manager to fix this and refund me for protection they charged me 2x for and he said βnothing I can doβ. What should have costed me $20 ended up being over $50. Scam customers to improve their own numbers.
Home depot is a great store. I have however emphasized to their lack of some very fine products that are tried and true. I was disappointed to find they still hadnt been added to their inventory. i.e. (Simple Green calcium remover). Great stuff!!
If you dont like self checkout, dont go. Staff was very friendly and helpful though. Extremely crowded every time I have gone here.
My go to place for everything DIY at a reasonable price.
Fairly generic Home Depot -- hard to identify any uniquely distinguishing characteristics (good or ba). Average sized store, well stocked, decent pricing, etc. The chief biggest complaint is the lack of in-store sales support. These days the best you can hope for is a clerk who knows where stuff is -- but you have to know for yourself what you need in the first place.
I just went in to use the bathroom, but afterwards, I walked around the aisles to compare it to the store I work at.
There was no one to help me when I was looking for something.Had to walk all the way to the front of the store were all the employees were standing around doing absolutely nothing !!I dont get it !!
I have been a long time customer of Home Depot, but this particular location is such a disappointment. I placed a large online delivery order and for a month, they kept failing to show up without notification. Each time I would call to inquire and got the same excuse of why the delivery didnt happen...glitch in the system; truck didnt have capacity. After the 3rd no show and same BS excuse. I canceled my order and took my business elsewhere.

So we got a new dishwasher from HD and had their team install it. What a joke. No one spoke english so we couldnt ask questions they made a huge mess and didnt clean it up. And every hose leaked and I had to tighten them and clean up water under my sink. I still am not sure if the hoses behind the unit are leaking or not. I guess Ill know when I start smelling rotten wood and mold.
Being able to shop online and find inventory amount and location makes being in the store, in these times of COVID-19, much shorter. Occasionally online inventory amounts are incorrect. But 85% of the time the things Ive been looking for have been there. Call in advance and have someone physically set aside what youre looking for if its a critical item. I have always found the staff to be very helpful.

Excellent customer service I dont have to wait much for help nor do i have to walk around looking for someone to help. For the most part there is someone or they call out for customer service. If I need help loading big items they are always helpful.

Unable to fine help. Made to leave the isle for forklifts. Then when i finally got help he did not keep his distance and made contact serval times. Then handed me a twisted ball of cabling that was useless. Did not purchase. Asked for a manager who never came.

Its the freaking Home Depot. You should know what youre getting yourself into! The people mean well but theyre generally suboptimal (good luck if you need help). You cant beat their return policy. Id highly recommend buying online and picking up in store unless youre really into scavenger hunts.

This store is great. Like every business, there are issues with certain employees. I have found at this one specifically there are a few really friendly helpful staff members, but majority are kind of lethargic and lazy and dont really want to put forth the effort to help you if they dont know the answer right off the bat. Its I dont work in that department instead of unfortunately I dont work in that department, but let me help you find some who does! I think simple customer service and hospitality skills could be improved greatly.
No apple pay? Check yourself out? No thanks save your money and go to Lowes. Also bought a brad nailer on promo with a free battery but they had no batteries. What a scam. Really going downhill. I will drive to salinas to another store to avoid this place

I really appreciate the curb side pick-up! Extremely convenient, fast service and friendly staff. I love that I can order for in-store pick up but can request Curbside pick up when I get to the parking lot, last minute, if needed.
Big place with just about everything you need. Not always easy to find help here. The Home Depot app. Can help you locate items you need faster than finding a person to help. I like the self check out option here to get in and out quickly.

Its a nice location, it feels smaller as instead of a rectangle the inside feels like a L shape. Mostly things are in the same layout as any other location i have been to. I find with this location they are better stocked than the Salinas location. When i dont find something in Salinas I go here and very often they have it.

Great customer service by far! Thanks to Anthony that helped my family of 8 in the wood section when we were unsure of the different types of wooden floor that were available. He was able to guide us and make it easier for us to decide what kind of wood we wanted. He was very patient and friendly, and then at check out, thanks to Tammy & Eric, checkout was quick and easy. Had to split the bill between 3 which would have been a hassle if it would have been at a different store. Was really pleased with the staff, would definitely drive the extra mile to seaside to get their help again, such a great team!

Despite C19 and other restrictions Home Depot is the best place to go when it comes to buying materials for home projects as they have a vast array of merchandise for almost anything. Customer sevice is also great if you exert a little patience because of present conditions.

Ok so the reason this doesnt get higher marks is because they were not stocked like normal. Almost all garden supplies minus plants were not available. The customer service was really friendly.

As long as you dont need customer service its great. Pro tip, look up what you need on the app, add it to your cart and use the apps product locator to find things. Employees are mostly useless when it comes to how to do things.

Need to build it need to do it need to fix it home Depot is the belt the only place in Monterey county other than Ace an orchard supply where you get the things that you need for home repair do it yourself repair and some crafting painting that kind of thing the prices seem to be a little bit more reasonable the end of she stated stores and the staff at home Depot extremely friendly very helpful some of the newer people may not have the knowledge but they will get you to the people that can get you the information you need about your project. The store hours are very convenient they open early at about 8 a.m. and close later in the evening from 9 to 10 depending on the day of the week
