Great small town feel. Friendly and knowledge staff. Felt really good talking cars with fellow car enthusiasts. Had great with car chats with Alex, finance folks were good too. Amanda whom i dealt with online and on the phone was easy to deal with as well. Overall it was a good experience there and ended up picking up a 2019 Q8 prestige, was worth it, even if had to drive 2 hours away plus traffic, coming from SF Bay area.

I took my car to the services department for repairs. Catherine one the service’s department clerk is not pleasant at all. They ruined my car when I picked up my car, the car wasn’t running well I had to take back for fixing it again. She was not professional and I didn’t receive neither good service nor proper commutation. After two days I drove my car on highway and it sounded like a wreck car. They didn’t do a good job at all and the problem not only still persist but also got worse. The car is brand new and it run like a wreck one. Don’t take you car there if you do, don’t deal with Catherine and always make sure it is fixed accordingly. I don’t recommend this service place to anyone one. They don’t know what are doing!

I just came by to check out the Q7 and Q8. Huang greeted me and showed me around, answered all my question plus some I didnt think to ask. Really nice guy. Come to find out hes the manager not a sales person. That right there was a +++ in my eyes. If I decide on an Audi, I will be coming back to Audi Monterey. 🤙🏼

I purchased a new 2020 Audi R8 from Audi Monterey and had a wonderful experience overall. My salesperson Ryan was fantastic the whole way through. I never felt pressured to select options on the build that I wasnt interested in. The communication from Ryan during the build process was excellent and the delivery was flawless.I wouldnt rather work with any other dealership in the Bay Area. Ill be ordering future Audis through Monterey Peninsula without a doubt.

Bought a used truck from these guys. Truck had a random 6k miles above last reported CarFax mileage by the time I got it. Got home and realized a horrible spray paint job on the roof. Never buying here again, their service is not satisfying.5/10/21 UPDATE: they asked me to take care of the DMV forms they should have done on their end after I purchased the truck. After telling them about my terrible experience with them and how inconvenient it would be for me to do their job for them, they agreed to send me a compensation (extra key fob since only one came with the truck). I have yet to either receive something or hear back from them about it.

The guy in the parts department was very helpful and I was greeted warmly by reception. Got the oil filter I needed and then headed to the service department to ask about diagnosing a rattle. Everyone seemed very busy and after a few minutes nobody greeted me so I just left. I have no problem waiting but for the prices they charge, they should make a point to look up from their computers and greet everyone that walks in. Not necessarily a bad experience, just not impressive.Update: I have been back a few more times and my experience has been much better. Now they need to upgrade their office and its 5 stars.

A few days ago after realizing that my car battery went bad, I opened the battery compartment and was going to take the battery out to replace. After realizing that I couldn’t access parts of the cables I decided to bring it to the service department to get swapped. I called the service department to schedule an appointment and the representative put me on the line with the parts department to see if they had the battery in stock. The battery was in stock and I was told that the price was $150 for a new battery. Even though I thought that was a little pricey for a new battery I decided to continue to schedule the appointment with the addition of an oil change. I dropped my car off around 5:00pm and the representative told me that the car wouldn’t be ready until 4:00pm the next day, which wasn’t a problem at all being that I couldn’t pick up the car until then anyway. The representative gave me the quote for the oil change at $150 and told me that he would gather the quote for the battery and call me The next day. He called with the quote and told me that a battery swap was going to be $500 in parts and labor, not including the oil change. I thought that was outrageous, so I asked him how the cost was broken down. He said the battery would cost me $180 and there would be an hour and a half labour cost at around $225/hour. After telling him that the parts department had already said that the battery was $150 he dropped the price of the battery. I also asked why there is still a $300 labour charge on a battery swap, a project that definitely should not take an hour and a half to complete. He then told me that my car was an older model so the labour cost should actually be around $155, so he dropped it down. Even though the price was cheaper than the original quote, I still thought I was getting ripped off. He called me a little bit later and said that they had delays and the car wouldn’t be ready until 5:30pm, but they would try for 5:00pm, not a huge deal. I get to the service department at 5pm to pick up the car but the representative told me it was looking like it would be closer to 5:30pm. Turned out my car wasn’t ready until 5:50pm and didn’t leave the service department until 6:00pm. I understand that there are other cars and things happen, but I’m disappointed that a battery swap and oil change was delayed by 2 hours.I left with a very bitter taste in my mouth knowing that I spent $440 for a new battery and oil change with sub-par service. I also have the suspicion that they thought they could take advantage of me given I am 23 years old. Maybe the difference between the correct prices of the battery and labour and the quoted prices is just a coincidence, but that is hard to believe. Next time my car needs work I will look for other options in the future.

Great place and great atmosphere. Purchased a used BMW 528i in June of 2018 and they had by far the best price within a 100 mile radius. They were very easy as far as the sale (no haggle via Truecar) and finance was concerned. I went with my kids and everyone knows how kids are, yet they gave them coloring books and were very patient. One of the gentlemen there is a navy corpsman vet and was awesome. Thanks again, even though i didnt purchase an Audi, I will keep this dealership in mind if I go that route.

I heard a strange noise yesterday in my Audi while I was on a drive from Seattle to Monterey. I called Audi USA and I was referred to Audi Monterey Peninsula. The dealerships service department told me I could come right in and they would look at my car. The noise had gone away today, but I brought the car in this morning for an inspection before my long trip back to Seattle. They got me right in and inspected my car, and they didnt find a problem. They washed and vacuumed the car, and I was on my way back to Seattle.They took exceptional care of an out of town Audi customer in need today, and I appreciate your service very much. Everyone in the dealership (Ross, Devin, Adam, Rasheed) were very helpful in pointing me in the right direction. I wanted a sporty car yet comfortable, and civilized, but responsive to my needs. They were able to dealer trade for the model and color I wanted. I already own an A7, and am very happy with its performance and reliability, the decision to purchase another Audi was a no brainer. Another factor for purchasing an Audi was the service department which is very good. From the sale of the car, to doing the paper work was top notch. Post sale, Ross was very patient in explaining all the functions of the car, teaching me how to use the navigation, and everything else on board.

In 2009 and 2010 I had my 2001 Audi TT serviced here. The repairs were for the following, the instrument panel. the rear window defroster, and an oil leak that I didnt know I had. The instrument panel is an known electrical issue with the car so that wasnt the surprise and cost me about $1200.00. I took the car in for an oil change and to have the rear window defroster connection soldered as it would cost less than replacing the whole window. They had my car for two days because they found a stage/level 4 oil leak (whatever that is and no Im not some idiot when it comes to cars or engines). Audi USA couldnt tell me what that was about. Oh and the rear defroster never did work - the solder job didnt hold. Have not been back since they took advantage of me and wont be.
