I love my new Atlas, thanks CJ!I went to test drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee and met CJ on the lot ... he was really easy going - he let me take it on a solo test drive to really experience the car myself. I liked the JGC, but wasn’t in love - he asked about other options I was thinking about like VW Atlas. We walked across the lot to go see what the adjacent dealership had.Even though he mainly works for Jeep, he helped answer questions about the VW Atlas and did research to find answers that he didn’t already know - and easily set me up with a test drive on the one I ended up buying; when I got back, he still wasn’t too pushy so I felt comfortable to give him a realistic timeline for purchase. I’m so glad I got this 2018 Atlas, it’s perfect! We stayed in constant communication, he helped make the transaction really easy and stress free - we started paperwork over the phone after business hours and ended up in the dealership again to finish and pickup car within the next dayIt all happened so fast that they did a quick detail on it, but he let me know that I could bring it back for a deep clean.Great guy, he really took care of me and went above and beyond the whole time - and filled up gas in the car before I drove away; 10/10 would recommend CJ to anyone looking to buy a car!
My sister and I worked with the VW salesperson Mark Mejia and he was kind and courteous and we really felt that he was on our side through the whole process. The sales manager from Cadillac helped us with our deal he was fair and professional. We had been to another dealership in that plaza (Hyundai) where the sales manager talked down to us- I’m assuming it was because we were women. However, the sales manager and Mark treated us with respect and courtesy. This was in October 2020, and I have been recommending VW seaside to everyone. I feel more satisfied with my purchase because the purchasing process was pleasant.
So I have been rebuilding a vw Golf R that had been wrecked. This is where the vw parts department came in handy. Steve has been a great help especially when it came to the specialty parts used on the Golf R vs regular golf. We used my VIN to ensure I had the correct parts for my vehicle and my 15 plus visits to the parts department have been nothing but friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Steve and Daniel for all the help.
Good service but they do have wrong numbers for home and cell
GOOD SELECTION OF ELECTRIC CROSSOVERS
The cost of labor for any service is extremely high, 3/4 of the bill was labor cost! They also charge $200 for a diagnostic fee and dont waive the diagnosis fee when you decide to stay with them to get the work done. Overall it felt like they were trying to over charge at any chance they could get. I clearly said (and it even said so on my receipt) that I didnt want any oil service done. While doing repairs they charged me and completed a premium oil change with lots of added charges like diesel additive, and apparently a screw!?! That amounted to an extra $100 charge. I am a loyal VW customer and have been since I bought my Jetta TDI in 2014. I will not be returning to this dealership for any future maintenance.
Dropped my atlas for oil change and issue with sunroof shade not working. That was Wednesday morning and was told they would call later that afternoon once a assessment was made. No call. Thursday no call Friday I called left message . Late that afternoon call back was received and was told problem needed parts and they would arrive on Monday. Tues following week no call .left message for call back .. nothing until I called back on Wednesday and was told needs more parts..problem was bigger that what they originally thought. Again part not expected till Monday/Tuesday. Tuesday again no call. Left several messages. On Thursday service rep I usually deal with called with apologies and said he would look into it. Hour later original rep finally calls to tell me part are not available and would have to wait . Asked about loaner vehicle he said they dont have any. My wife emailed supervisor with some harsh words about service. Next day rep calls back and says they have a loaner for me to use while my atlas was being fixed. Well 3&1/2 weeks at shop to fix sunroof shade. Finally done works great but car was a little dirty from techs hands . I have never had this problem at this dealership prior to this . We own 3 Volkswagen and service all at this place .. they just dont seem to be able to keep staff consistently the same .. always new people. Need better leadership and consistency.
Horrible customer service and quality of work. Cars transmission went out under warranty and had a few issues with Seaside from start to finish. First, the VW dealership pushed us over to the Cadillac dealer to get the car in for repairs, so things became very inconsistent from what the person on the phone told us prior to going in. They then dont offer or provide a loaner car... which usually wouldnt be that big of a deal except that they took over 3 weeks to replace the transmission. THEN after picking up the car, it begins to have similar issues again, so I had to take it to another dealership where they told me that seaside VWs mechanic didnt properly install the transmission. So overall I would avoid this dealership due to the lack of customer service, not even wanting to interact with customers, how slow they take with no concern over providing transportation while they attempt to fix your vehicle, and the lack of quality they have when it comes to actually fixing the vehicle.
Great service by well trained and experienced mechanics.
Brain Sandoval is the one to see. He is great and he made it happen.
Worst Customer Service. They make promises they cant keep which they do on purpose. I have a newer Jetta which has been in and out of the shop multiple times over the span of a few months and every time it takes way longer than it should and the make promises about when it will get done or that they will call if they have any updates and neither happens. You always have to call them if you want any information.
This is the worst service/ customer service dealership I ever dealt with.Unprofessional and they dnt care about following up on your vehicle repairs.
We purchased a new 2019 Atlas at this dealership and were really impressed with the customer service through the entire experience. Brian was our salesperson and he was great to work with! Fast and transparent communication and a can-do attitude devoted to finding us the perfect car with all the options we wanted. We also had a great experience with financing and Basel was wonderful too! The entire process was positive and we LOVE our new Atlas!
Please don’t bring your car for service here, they have the WORST customer service ever, they never pick up the phone and they’re rude and incompetent. They will give you an estimate and then you’ll end paying way more at check out, they’re overpriced compared to Cardinale VW in Salinas and my SUV wasn’t even washed for me at pick up. Seriously don’t make business with them they don’t care about their customers.
The schedule system differs from the help desk the service department.
My car hit some rocks and the front splitter was bended and need to cut out the bended part in order to drive home safe. The dealer refused to help just cut out a piece of plastic for me. Which should takes less than 10 mins. Nice customer service
I worked with Matt Wingrove in the Service Department to get a brake switch replaced under recall. He was helpful, courteous and well informed, and the repair was completed earlier than promised. All my Subaru work has been done there with the same experience.
I will not bring my cars here again.
Bad. Bad. This dealerships is bad. VW as a brand is great. I wouldnt by from this location or service here.I bought a CPO but when I needed service it appears they lied, no CPO in the data base. I had to be on the phone for hours, VW customer care help me try to fight this dealer but no much success.
Service for my VW GTI was not as good as Cardinale VW in Salinas. They misdiagnosed the problem as being a clutch issue when it really was the radiator and they were going to charge $ 3,500.
I purchased parts for my g/daughters 2017 Jetta, I didn’t have much information on the vehicle but the gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and found the correct parts we needed. He just figured it out. Very helpful!
Its great place to buy a new or pre owned vehicle. Go see Damian Rose and He will he help you. 5 star customer service rating.
Outstanding experience. Got 2 cars with free 72,000 mile bumper to bumper factory warranted. Also, a free oil change. Great deal. Whoaaa
Had our 2012 eos serviced here and no complaints, ended up replacing an oil pressure switch and was pleased with timing and communication.
The mechanic lef a key in my friend car no good is a terrible cervice also they changed her alot money.money.
Alex VW service has an amazing service, he calls for updates and follow ups and keeps his customers well informed, with transparency, honesty and friendly approach towards his customers he gives the utmost service possible, very helpful.
Leo in service is the best! What an asset he is to this company! Bought a lemon (private sale) & hes helped me tremendously in the past figuring out what was most important to fix while dealing with my tight budget. He keeps me coming back :)
So glad we chose Seaside VW to purchase our Tourareg online! We were a little hesitant to make such a major purchase online but the team at Seaside made it so easy. Wonderful service and customer care through the whole process. Our sales rep Brian Sandoval took excellent care of us and we would absolutely recommend him and Seaside for an online vehicle purchase.
Even though I didnt come to buy/service a car here, I has pleasant experience.Came here to charge my Tesla, while I was waiting for my son give SAT. Staff were very courteous and friendly. When I went to grab a coffee in the sales section, manager came to me and asked me to get a hot coffee in service department, as the coffee was cold in the sales section. Each and every person I saw it spoke to were very friendly and helpful.I had a nice chat with one of the managers, who has VW eGolf.
Wow. Long time VW owner, purchased a Passat TDI for myself for Mother’s Day (single mother, nursing student) this was my 5th VW purchase, always have loved Volkswagen. I purchased my last vehicle seamlessly from this specific dealer, had a wonderful experience and decided to come back. This time around was a much different situation. After trading in my Tiguan and purchasing my Passat, they kept possession of this vehicle for 5 weeks to get a windshield replaced (because apparently, their “certified safety check” overlooks 5 inch cracks in windshields?) They provided a gas guzzling GMC loaner vehicle in the meantime, so I’ll give them that (one of the main reasons I was trading in my Tiguan was to minimize gas costs..go figure.) before even making the second payment on my lovely Passat, I got hit with a $1400 repair bill..electrical issues, an engine fuse box replacement and battery replacement needed. I cannot stress this enough, AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. Faulty business practices is an understatement. I would have been better off purchasing a VW via some shady back-alley Craigslist deal, this deal has shifted my love for VW indefinitely. After driving Volkswagens for over a decade, I will be through with them after this TDI.
Horrible. Lost my key so I had to order a new one. That took two weeks, I was told I needed to make an appointment to get my key programmed . Service told me parts ordered the wrong key and it would take another 10 days. The new key arrived and it is apparently the wrong key. 1 month later I still dont have my key. They say they will call and keep you updated and not one single call. This place is a joke
Bought a car and a day later it doesnt work
Had a horrible all around customer service experience at this location. Will never be back.
Terrible Customer Service, They do not care. I waited 30 min just to drop off. Got passed off to 3 different people who seem like they do not enjoy their jobs. The place was empty and still no customer service. We Paid $130 for a basic oil change and check up. Told them to check everything and call me if anything needed service. Went to pick up the vehicle and waited 30 more minutes for them just to find the paperwork and vehicle. When i got in the vehicle, The Indicator light was still lit and when I asked them why they didnt check it, they had no answer and told me to bring it back in another day... Just go somewhere else
I dropped off my vehicle at Seaside Volkswagen with a service provider (name has been covered) with a full tank of gas on 2/11/19 for the EPC light being on. Seaside VW seldom called to keep me informed, I had to be the one calling to see what the status of my vehicle was, and was always given vague responses with no details whatsoever. I was finally able to pick up the vehicle on 3/29/19 on an empty tank of gas. Mileage in was 59,135. Mileage out was 59,797 (photo attached). Upon calling to find out why 600 miles were put on my vehicle, the service provider told me I should just be happy the vehicle works because would I have rather they gave me the vehicle back not working and I would just have to go back? The service provider could not tell me where the vehicle was road tested/driven, which of the 4 technicians had worked on the vehicle, nothing. I called Corporate Volkswagen on Friday, April 12th to file a complaint. One week later on Friday, April 19th, Corporate Volkswagen followed up to see if Seaside Volkswagen contacted me. I have heard nothing from Seaside Volkswagen since their service provider told me I should just be happy my car works. Corporate Volkswagen said there was nothing else they could do, my complaint was documented and sent to the owner of Seaside VW, and they informed me that they had documented the fact that Seaside VW never resolved their customer complaint. At this point, I feel taken advantage of. My auto insurance card with my personal information was of course in my glove box and I have no idea who was in my vehicle for 600 miles with access to my information, especially because they will not tell me who was in my car. I feel violated, I feel like the dealership took advantage of my trust in their service and I am now 600 miles closer to my $520 60k service. I feel women should not take their vehicles into this dealership because the male staff there will take advantage of them. I just feel robbed and sick to my stomach, and the fact that they are now choosing to ignore my complaint is an injustice.
Bought my car through Cals before it was turned into Seaside.Keep calling to schedule service and find out if theyll honor the commitments agreed through the previous owner. Apparently they dont like business though as they either dont pickup the phone, or just keep recycling you back into the front of the automated system. Tried using their online appointment option and never got a response. They have no issue spamming my email account though. Disappointing.
Great knowledgeable sales staff. I would recommend buying a vehicle here.
Bought a 🚗 they worked hard to find a way that fit my budget. Very happy with vehicle.
Great staff how treat customers right
Nice place, true to their word on a lease.
Had a repair done here, and the dropoff option makes it very convenient.
Nice
Very good....
Terrible service. Ive litterally called 10 times now over two weeks about when the maintenance with my car might be done. Ive been told every single call that my car would be ready tomorrow. Two weeks later Im still being told, tomorrow. No understanding at all on their side how inconvenient it is to be told day in and out that your car will be done tomorrow. Dont tell customers a car will be ready tomorrow if it wont be. Now Im stuck with two weeks of rental car.
This dealership and service department are appalling! No respect for customers! And they have been trying to fix my 2015 VW Jetta tsi sport for 11 months and have had my car is there shop for two weeks out of each month and still havent accaly done anything (but make it worse) I have NEVER!!!!!!! Gotten a call back from there service manager Frank ( or the service department ) and when we take time out of out day to drive in we are treated with nothing but disrespect!! Our voltswagon corporate representative cant even get through the to the to talk about out SIX septret cases open agents seaside voltswagon (seaside auto group) They have fired and hired almost the entire service department twice in six month looks this the third time will hopefully be the charm... Leo and Victoria have been the only two people there that have entreaty!
Filed a complaint with Volkswagen Customer Care.
Alex in the service dept is such an asset to this company!
The service is ok here, it just might take longer than youd expect.
Dishonorable. We wont be back. Sad.
Very friendly sales person.
The worst customer service ever.
