Has all the supplies needed for youre average outing. Fishing selection is above par and there is almost always someone on shift that can give you all the local insight to good fishing spots and tackle to use. Good disc golf selection as well. Shoe department if very good for hiking and work. Camping department has a lot of neat stuff like jetboil, survival equipment and quality sleeping bags. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Its my first time going fishing here in Monterey, and I needed some supplies for the fishing rods I got. Not only did it Supply what I needed to go fishing, I had a list of places to go for my first time going fishing. The employees went over and Beyond to make sure that my needs were satisfied.

This place is horrible! They go through employees like water. Everytime I go on the have someone else thats new. They say they will special order items it takes months. The owner is a complete moron. He doesnt know how to run a business, and their buyers are clueless on what sells. Your better off going to West Marine for fishing, the bait is cheaper and they have area specific gear. For other items online or REI.

They have everything outdoor you might need. However the service isnt exactly there... unless they got issues with middle eastern guys asking weapon related questions!

Great staff and great quality products. Outdoor world is our local outdoor store and they carry everything from ammo, fishing, camping, clothing, first aid, fitness, hiking, footware, frisby golf, knives, lights and everything in between. Jordan is the manager and just in the last month the store has looked the best Ive ever seen. Dont waste your money at Big 5 and Sports authority, these guys actually are into the outdoors and arent some college kid selling retail. They can also give insight go hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping spots. Braedan is very knowledgeable about the areas for camping and ammo and firearms. Amy can help you with anything from fitness supplies to camping gear, and daniel is your fishing guide. Also you can get your DFG license here which makes it very convenient to buy ammo, calls, camo, etc. 5 stars!!!
