UPDATED:I am late in updating this review (its currently Feb 2018 at time of this update) . After I posted my review, the owner reached out to me repeatedly, and sincerely, apologizing for the delay in fulfillment of my order. He sent me the products I ordered free of charge and they remain one of the best balsamic vinegars I have ever had. I am hopeful that the next time I order from them that fulfillment will be much improved.My initial review in 2017 :This review is about Mediterraneo Imports online order service. I posted an order on September 23, 2017. I followed this up via phone call and email on October 18 as it had been nearing a month since I ordered my items. While I did get an email reply the same day (apologizing for their delay, etc etc), they did not follow up at all when I inquired about what they were to do since the tracking number they provided showed that my package was damaged when it arrived in one of the Fedex locations in my area. No phone call, no email follow-up, nothing. At the time of this writing, there is NO update at all for the handling of my order at this Fedex location -- it has been 12 days.Thankfully my credit card is excellent in managing disputes/inquiries with products/services as I have processed a dispute with them and I have received my money back.The first time I tasted Mediterraneos balsamic vinegar I thought it was the best I have ever had. Which is why even if we dont live in California anymore I order them. Its an indulgence that used to be worth it. But with this poor service, I will no longer support them. This isnt the first time this has happened (delayed shipping) but the last time it happened I at least got a hold of someone and they added a complimentary item to my order because of their delay.
