I had such an amazing time here. Joe is hands down one of the nicest barbers I’ve met. He was able to fix a previous barber’s butchering of my hair. He was incredibly gentle and very professional! I totally recommend this place and will definitely come back.

Heather is hands down the best hair stylist Ive ever had. I show her what I want, she tells me what will and wont work, and I tell her I trust her. Within the hour Ive got an incredible haircut and Ive had a good time getting it. Ive been seeing her for my last several haircuts and have sent people to her who love her work as much as I do. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend!

I just wanted to start off by saying thank you to everyone there they were all so kind and very friendly. The place was neat and organized all the staff were knowledgeable. I didnt know how I wanted my hair cut to be honest. So I had told Joe, to just do what ever he thought looked good but to leave some length on top for the curls. I can can say that I have not had a haircut this nice since I was a child. Thank you Joe for the look I really like your attention to detail and how you all made me feel so welcomed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone you guys will be really well taken care of if you go here.

Jeremy has been my barber for almost 3 years. When he started working from Emerald City, the extra drive time from downtown Seattle was still completely worth it. He provides excellent service, good convo, and grade A mens cuts and beard trims. As soon as Im able to, I will also be visiting him for a straight razor shave. Emerald City is also very clean and the other workers are friendly and fun.

I think Ive found my new place - great service, excellent haircut, and I cant believe Ive lived so long without a hot towel shave. Just awesome.

Cant say enough good things about this place. Thi-an always does my fades and they are CLEAN. She is personable and professional; truly havent had a better barber experience anywhere else in Seattle.Also, theyve been doing a lot to protect their customers and barbers since COVID became an issue which I really appreciate. I have been going to Jeremy for years, and am so excited for their new shop. Jeremy is a perfectionist and a consummate professional. Easily the best cuts Ive ever gotten. The shop itself is really nice and welcoming, and is easy to get to from both the 99 and i5. If youre looking for a regular place you can count on for a top-notch haircut, youve found it.

My wife makes fun of me but I liken finding the right barber to searching for the dentist or doctor that will work for you. When I met Jeremy and the team at Emerald City Barber, the search was over. Not only does Jeremy do a phenomenal job on my grooming, but the service and atmosphere at the shop are second to none. I couldnt recommend this shop more for people looking for a full service shop with the perfect balance of professionalism and a relaxing experience.

Followed Jeremy from a previous barber shop. He consistently gives the best scissor cuts Ive had since moving to Seattle and I always leave with a clean cut.The shop looks great with a clean, modern, aesthetic and its only a short drive from downtown as long as you avoid rush hour. The prices are comparable to other luxury barbershops that are in the general Seattle area and Ive got no problem paying considering the quality of the cut and overall experience.

I love this barbershop. I have never been to a more welcoming environment to get my hair done. Everyone was so enthusiastic about their greetings. My hairstylist that I love so much I followed from my old barbershop and she knew exactly what she was doing and she did it with finesse. She took the time to make sure everything was right, The details were well attended too. I would 100 percent recommend this place to anyone that is particular about their haircuts and especially a clean fade. It was worth this little drive all the way down form belltown. Come in feeling comfortable and leave looking FRESHER THAN EVER!

Very clean place but its a scam the guy told me $20 for a haircut afterwards charged me $41 I would not suggest going to this place definitely not skilled enough for a $41 haircut

I’ve been going to Thi-an as my barber since before she opened this shop. When I know I’ll need a solid cut before traveling or a big event, I go straight to her. I’m in the Capitol Hill area, but the drive down to Georgetown is so worth it.Thi-an knows what she’s doing and is clearly a master of the craft. Finding a barber in Seattle who really knows how to cut all types of hair (ex. Asian hair) can be challenging, so finding her was a blessing.The shop is bright, no extra frills, and super inclusive. Other shops put too much emphasis on the brand (ex. “Gentleman’s club” environment) but this crew really just cares about giving great cuts and making people feel good.
