Bought a “pre-sewn” cover for my Whitlock wheel and spokes. Fit perfectly. My wife sewed it on and was happy with the instructions provided and the finished results.

Tom of Boat Leather recovered two wheels for our sailboat. Hes extremely helpful, himself a sailor and hence well aware of the various requirements in play.Both wheels are now again in tip-top shape, look great and look as though theyll last.For my part at least I found it worth paying for installation of the leather. Some things can be done reasonably competently (or sufficiently hidden) on a first-shot DIY basis. I know my limits and am happy to have paid a little extra for expert work.
