Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is a great place to go for any of your brewing needs. From bottles to carboys, brew kettles, beer kits to raw ingredients. They have it all! Theyve been very helpful as Ive started my journey brewing beer, wine and hard cider soon.

I have just made the leap to kegging my beer. I went in yesterday to buy a new 10# CO2 tank. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful, walking me through the whole process of setting up the CO2 tank to the regulator and also supplying me with the necessary tubing and kegging supplies. GREAT customer service and Ill definitely make this my go-to Homebrew shop.

A great homebrew shop for beginners and experts alike! Staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help with any questions you have. I was working on putting together a pretty advanced tap system (actually a commercial tower with glycol, the whole bit) and needed a ton of different little parts and connectors to make it all work the rest of my existing kegs & CO2 setup - regulators, multiple and different sized manifolds, etc. I was worried going in that being a smaller sized shop they might not have everything I was looking for. Instead, I was easily able to find myself most of the components, and then with the help of one of the guys there that morning (New Years Eve even!) found the last couple pieces that were a little trickier. I was worried since we were hosting a New Years party that if something didnt work then Id be out of luck. Was very confident leaving that I had everything and sure enough everything went together exactly as needed - it all worked like a charm, the party was a hit, AND everything was very reasonably priced! Much better than guessing at online descriptions/sizes, paying and waiting for shipping, and getting something that turns out wrong and having to worry about returns! They also reassured me if anything didnt work, I could bring it back and theyd return/exchange no problem. Very happy with my experiences here (also went once before for all the ingredients for a 10 gallon all-grain recipe). Happy to support a fantastic locally owned business! Will be back for anything else I need and all my recipes.

Sound Homebrew is my favorite LHBS in the Seattle region, and Ive tried them all over the last 12 years. Great grain & hop selection, always well stocked & organized, and has a knowledgeable staff. Also find them to be generally cheaper overall compared to other shops, with one or two exceptions on certain grains. Make the trip here, its worth it.

Man, I love this place! They seem to have a bigger and better selection than any other shop I have found in Seattle, but that isnt the most important part for me. The most important thing that I want in a brew shop is friendly staff willing to answer questions from first-timers as well as experts. Everybody I have talked to at Sound has been helpful and seemed happy to be there, and that is why I shop there!

This place is great and almost in West Seattle. Staff was friendly, although they could do with warming up the interior space of the shop. Glad theres a closer alternative to the other shops and with good customer service, too. Downside: bulk grain prices are higher here.

This place is fun to get your beer supplies or CO2 tanks. We actually got a tank to huck onto our soda stream. Its very efficient and we only need to get a new tank every 6 month. The cost are about 120$ when you buy the tank, all refills are 20$ afterwards
