Sophie at the Tacoma store was a dream to work with! She was extremely helpful with getting a great design for my kitchen put together. When there were (very minor) scheduling issues she was quick to respond and help fix things. Pius overall was able to take my project from start to finish in 3 weeks with installation taking just 2 days! The quality and price cant be beat. I will absolutely be back again. Can not recommend more highly.
My experience with ordering and installing Pius cabinets was flawless from start to finish due mainly to the incredible assistance of Sophie in the Tacoma store. Sophie designed the perfect layout for my kitchen and made sure everything was just how I wanted it. When I changed the size of a cabinet at the last minute, she responded immediately to help me. There was one cabinet with a slight imperfection and Sophie again was there to help correct it. The cabinets look great in my new kitchen and the process was made much easier and stress free with Sophies help. Everyone says remodeling a kitchen is stressful, but this process was not. I couldnt ask for more...beautiful cabinets with a great new layout and friendly helpful service. Thank you!
We had a really good experience with Pius starting from signing the contract till the installation by the contractor. We ordered a countertop for our kitchen and Pius gave us the best price The lowest Price in the market, Our kitchen is really huge so it was a huge difference! We signed the contract with Mike who is very nice, he answered all our questions and he answered all our calls for more inquiries. Very easy process, we paid half of the price then the other half 20 days before the installationToday was the installation day and the contractor The Brothers Granite is the best contractor. They checked the kitchen, gave us some info and asked what we needed to do for the island and if we needed it bigger. They started the work immediately, everyone knows what he is doing so the job was easy and fast for them. They are clean, fast, professional. They cleaned inside and outside the home. Even they cleaned in front of our neighborPictures are without the backsplash as The backsplash will be installed by another contractorI might update pics after the backsplash installation!I definitely advise anyone to work Pius
We would highly recommend Pius for countertops, cabinets and install. They have great quality and price if you know what you want and are somewhat knowledgeable. They seem to do a lot of business with external contractors so are high volume and used to folks who are bargain hunters with a good idea of what they want. If you’re looking for a place that will hold your hand the whole way this is probably not the place. We worked with Mike and he was great! The process took us about a month from initial quote to install which is very reasonable. The cost was 20-40% less than the other places we got quotes from for comparable quality. They also seemed to have a good selection of sizes and types of cabinets and countertops in stock so we were able to play with the layout until we found what worked with our space.A few things to note also mentioned in other reviews...the place definitely gets busy and they clearly prioritize people have have their measurements and choices ready to go. Our first sales rep got really frustrated and annoyed with us because we had some more custom things we wanted to be done at install and she seemed to be confused and in a hurry but she handed us off to Mike who was very knowledgeable presented us with recommendations and options to get what we were looking for and knew exactly what to include in the order to make it work out. That being said some of the more out of the ordinary things we requested weren’t clear to the Install team who we had to explain to and they seemed a little annoyed at the extra work (that was part of the invoice) but still did a great job and completed the install in 2 days (1 for cabinets and second for countertops)Also note that if your floors or walls are not level you should do some prep work ahead of install as these guys are a pretty standard install cabinets and countertops and that’s it. They are not general contractors or magicians so if you don’t have a good foundation I would address that before having them install or it won’t turn out as clean.
The folks at Pius were amazing. I had a dishwasher leak that not only ruined our floor, it damaged our cabinets as well. Everything had to go. I almost got cabinets at Ikea, and just needed them to look at my designs and approve them. (This was in July 2020. Its now February 2021 and they STILL havent gotten back to me!!) . In the meantime, a friend of mine who works in construction suggested I look into Pius especially since I wanted solid wood cabinets, but thought I couldnt afford them. After I tore it all out, and there was only a temp sink, fridge & stove left, I sent a photo to Pius, and I very quickly got a response. I had a basic idea of what I wanted, but they improved on it dramatically, for free, and all within my budget.Andy came out to take measurements, and even though this was early in the pandemic, he made sure to follow COVID safety protocol. He was friendly and professional. The cabinet installation went well. It took a full day, and the installer also made sure to follow COVID safety protocol at all times when he was in my house. (I cant say the same thing about other contractors who installed the floor)A few months after installation, I noticed a crack on one of the doors. Andy came by quickly and swapped it out for a new one. While there are other reviews that have concerns about communication at their showroom, I found that email communication was friendly, timely and professional, and I got almost everything squared away there. They were lifesavers! Our new kitchen looks great!
Jess answered all of my questions over the phone and made me feel more confident in the buying process. Ill definitely be stopping by this weekend because of it.
Nice looking showroom if you go in talk to Judy shes very helpful and knows her stuff
After identifying some issues with the in-progress kitchen remodel, the installation team and management came up with creative and solid solutions to resolve them. As with older homes, walls had their wows. In our case, this involved about 6 of skillful trimming to the countertop to make it fit. It worked out fabulously!! Two seams were needed and when done the result was a great integration; they were hardly visible. Very Nice! Great craftmanship.
Thank you for Judy answering all my questions today. We be in this weekend
I have used Pius for years.. but now I will use someone else. As a contractor, I have picky clients and an even tougher schedule. The quartz countertop I had Pius install was NOT sealed. Oh, they put that in writing, but never told me or my clients. After all was said and done, my client now has stains on her quartz. I called Pius to get a recommendation to remove them.. nothing. No phone call back, nothing. Horrible customer service. I feel bad for the staff that work there.. you can tell they hate their jobs. Its a miserable place, horrible showroom, and the cabinets arent that great either. If you want quality, I suggest somewhere else. If you want to be appreciated as a long time customer, please choose another cabinet company.
What an awesome place to get your kitchen and bathroom remodeled! Everyone there is so knowledgeable about making all the little details come together. Their pricing is incredible and turn-around is amazing too! I loved their selection of granite & engineered stone. Go here for your next remodel!
Pius installed the countertops in my childrens bathroom. I had excellent help and good communication about the process. The installers were very respectful and a pleasure to have in my home, which is rare. I have had the countertop now for 4 years and its as pretty as it was when it was first installed.I have had other interactions with Pius for other projects and have received excellent service from the moment I walked in to the end. They made a stressful project a little bit more smooth.
Judy at front desk, amazing, very knowledgeable, polite knows all details and answers to all questions, highly very highly recommend working with her if you stop by Pius.
I have used Pius for all of my remodels and for my own house and their product and pricing is unbeatable. You will never find a better price out there and where other places may have better service, their price is X 10 for the same product. I appreciate Pius and I think their service is great, but for those people that want extra attention and impeccable service where they are not so busy, you will pay for that many times over in price, I am over the moon that Pius is local and their pricing and product has allowed me to keep growing my real estate portfolio
John and Diane!! thank you so much for helping me with my remodels!! i love my kitchens and bathrooms, and their service, follow up and product is great and the price is honestly priceless, this is the one of the most important phone call I make after I purchase an investment!! You cannot beat the product and the price!
We had a wonderful experience working with Mike at Pius. He was very helpful, he was very calm and was very knowledgeable. He was able to help us with a custom made size cabinet that we were able to get very quickly which we were thrilled about. I would definitely recommend getting cabinets there. Price is right and they look great. I would highly recommend you ask for and work with Mike.
Had a terrible experience. We were looking to replace some toe kicks so thought wed try this place. Walked around the whole store and everyone just sat behind the counters and no one tried to help us. We asked someone about the toe kicks and was told that they will not sell us any if we didnt purchase the cabinets from them. Guess what, I will NEVER step a foot in there and purchase anything. Will tell my friends and family not to either. Just terrible.
Super bad after sale service. Missing items, wrong items, and many small things not at good condition, like drawer, . Mounding …..,, called their customers many many times, ..,,,not recommend this company, go somewhere else to buy.
I am always happy with Pius, a limited selection, but its a good selection. The staff is friendly and professional. The cabinet boxes are plywood, the hardware is also a good quality.
We had a great experience with Pius, their helpful staff and the installer (Wei) and his team who did a fantastic job on our challenging quartz kitchen counter layout with waterfalls today. Fair pricing and great results!
We had a very positive experience with pious kitchen and bath cabinets. good quality RTC cabinets easy to assemble. We had a privilege to work with Mike and Uka they were very professional. One, that needed replacement it was no problem very easy, positive experience
Best price and quality install! We shopped four separate quotes and Pius happened to have some counters we liked on sale. The counters with custom backsplash turned out great. The front desk can be a bit hard to reach by phone but Lina was quick to answer my questions accurately via email and assisted me throughout the process.
Great selection, beautiful showroom and tons of options.
This is an awesome place, specially working with Uka. She help us 100% with the design and picking our material too. I’ve recommended this place all of my friends. Also to ask for Uka to help. Uka she very nice and 100% helpful.
Love my quartz counters! Amanda took the time to answer all questions & make suggestions when necessary. The price was better then other bids, showed up as scheduled & cleaned up as if they hadnt been there. Overall the quality of work surpassed expectations! They even took the time to match vein pattern on counter & back splash & both sides of waterfall! Highly recommend
We purchased cabinets and quartz counters for our bar and bathroom remodel from Pius. After some issues with our cabinet, I am pleased to share that Pius sent a representative out to address the issue within 24-hours. Alls is well and I would recommend Pius to family and friends.
Just finished my 4th project with Pius supplying cabinets/counters/sinks; great combination of price and quality. Sales team (Miko) very helpful with design advice. Negative would be that picking up the cabinets is fairly unorganized meaning you may wait a while at the warehouse to get everything out.
Worked with Andy and he was very professional. His installation crew was excellent! Would definitely use them again and recommend Pius to everyone!
Anastazia was wonderful. It was a Tuesday morning; I walked into the Pius office because the cabinet order from Ikea did not show up. I had flown into Seattle one day earlier to help my dad update a small kitchen, I had two weeks. Is that even possible to order and get the cabinets in position before Ive gotta fly back? I asked. You have a pretty small kitchen, let me see...how about you pick up the cabinets on Friday?, Anastazia said calmly. OMG, that made my month. I picked up the boxes (already assembled) and realized how much better the quality is than Ikea. If you are looking for cabinets and think you will save some money doing Ikea, think again: I think 25% more expensive for 100% better quality with Pius. Ask for Anastazia.
The countertop installers still need to install the countertop backsplash. I have been waiting 2 weeks for this to be done.Customer service resolved my complaint by issuing some money for the countertops installed the Thurs and Sat after the Mon it was supposed to be installed. There were a few other issues, but everything was resolved eventually.
A good deal on counters but I was very unhappy with the installation. Measurements were off and I was told by the installers that I had to remove two chunks of my wall in order for the slab to sit flat. They ‘forgot’ about the plywood underlay (added height) so I was just left with two giant exposed gaps showing. Pius was, however, helpful in reimbursing me for the cost to have the drywall patched.I felt there was a lot of information regarding the process and expectations of the final product/installation that wasn’t explained well during the purchase, so would recommend you go with someone who knows exactly what to ask and what to look for. ie, there are gaps and exposed plywood below the overhangs and entire breakfast bar area! They said this is standard and how they are displayed in the showroom... so know that is what you can expect. After complaining, they did offer to paint it or give me a panel to cover the bottom.I would also recommend having at least two people there during the measurements and installation and get a copy of the exact measurements you require and instructions you have for the installers. Then watch/oversee their work very carefully when they come back.
The sales there have no concept of customer service. They are all greedy following their one of the vice president. You have to follow their plan but without countertop layout for you it will waste too many slabs.Alex the sales told us all of our selected slabs and backslash were out of stock when we wanted to change or effectively use.., but when we came later another sales could give us a list of stocks with many choices as we wanted. while Alex again, he just trick he didnt know and made worse lies further more to block our project because we draw a layout by ourselves for the counter top which save us thousand of dollars., they were not happy with it.Then their Vice president Diane called us just less than one day before countertop installation. Asked us use her suggestion with no seam under a 10 years old very good quality window with additional whole big slab. After we insist our choice. she started use different threatening steps to negotiate her way as following:1. Asked us to add $400 for the window seamwhich was rejected.2. Asked us to pay additional at least $159 for one of the seam . we rejected. Then she said ok. that could be a discount.3.Then she threatened window was old to finish good. Actually it is very good. Then threatened if following our idea, they would make problem with not level or uneven etc theyll not responsive, and threatened and forced us to sign to accept poor quality finishing window risk.and threatened us she would canceled the order now to waste our time. Any way, using many of ugly ways to force us spending more without respect customers choice. Because she said no body draw the countertop layout and questioned them like us. But come on folks you have to draw a draft of your own counter top layout and that you know why ..Of course we rejected her threatening and additional pointless charges. Quit and got refunds We found an immediately better offer with effective cut and color of the slabs with a carefully responsibility draw the layout, plus saveaus more.Also. While doing 48x72 under island cabinets The inslalers brought here not even leg, and not crown fillers on top of cabinet. This time Diane text us no problem 2 higher. no one would ever notice that...but 30 seam under window she notice a $1000 income🤣.She kept silence not let people send filers to the working area. I have to go to their warehouse to pickup the fillers for immediate install use from far away. and finally she ask us to send back the over delivered and misdelivered lot of material back. she ordered like commander...Think it over, draw a draft of layout of the slabs before order from them and compared with all other better company. there are a lot of better suppliers there waiting for you!I read Dianes replies. its totally full of lies. She lied the fillers and all other mistakes are because our changes 🤣Fillers and panels are for cabinets delivered and and finished 6 days before counter installation. It seemed like they shameless ketp lies. Last minutes add on its you Diane claim herself MBA who use different MBA stretages in order force us add on for a seam underneath window for $600 and encourage over use her slabs carelessly ... We timidly asked a sales lady on the Saturday 5 days and got confirmed before Next Wednesday. that we can change without extra charges whenever before delivery countertop and our final changes were all made two days before the slabs delivery. After you paid all. this guys totally changed their attitudes. Just be careful doing business with this company!
We bought our kitchen and bathroom countertops and cabinets here directly and had them do the installation of both cabinets and countertop. Cabinet install experience wasn’t great - timing wasn’t reliable, didn’t seem to know what they were doing - but countertop install was fast and well done. The kitchen and bathrooms turned out great! Fair prices and great selection.
Not many tile choices and nobody greeted us or asked if we needed anything
They carry a good variety of granite and quartz at their store. We remodeled our kitchen and got our countertops at Pius and couldn’t be happier. I enjoyed being offered to go to their warehouse to choose the exact granite slabs before the installation. I ended up getting the Titanium. Highly recommend it!
Do not go anywhere else! They have an amazing selection of granite, they install it quickly and perfectly and you can not beat the prices or the service. I got 30 linear feet of Blue Star granite countertops installed for half the cost of the 2 other places I checked. Its been a year and I am really glad I found Pius.
Busy place, but john the owner and the staff were extremely helpful and understanding. Also they have the best deals. My kitchen came out amazing
Amber helped us on multiple occasions to make the right cabinet choice for us. We have an old home and she was patient with us as we worked through all the details. She was very adept at the modeling software which helped a lot! Pius was recommended by a friend who recently remodeled his home, and I would recommend as well.
OK here is the real scoop about Pius, I have been doing business with them for years and have probably done a dozen or more Kitchens in that time. The best way to deal with them is in person at one of their locations. Their telephone service is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. That being said their quality of product is awesome and their pricing is very competitive also they have a very extensive selection. Make sure that when you leave their store you have all your questions asked and your design finished,,,,,,, dont even attempt to make changes over the phone, its not worth it. I wish they would get their phone service fixed so I could up their score to 5 STARS. I dont want to give out my guys personal cell phone number but if you deal with James he is the best. He is generally off on Wednesday and Thursday. Happy Shopping.
My husband and I came in 20 minutes before closing, we had a question for the women working there on the white shaker cabinets, she was so rude, and did not want to answer our question. We walked backed to where the cabinets were and noticed she had grabbed her handbag and took off out the back door before closing. I worked retail myself and I would be fired if I treated a customer in that manner. Why do you have this women still working there with the same complaints from your reviews. You are only hurting your business!
Helpful staff, no pressure. Nice layout of kitchen and bathroom
Went here yesterday, the sales associate was so condescending and rude to me. was treated as if i wasnt good enough or had enough money to be shopping here. i asked for help on a quote for a bathroom vanity and the first thing out of her mouth was theres a minimum $754 labor charge for any work we do here without ever even trying to listen to what i wanted done, as if hearing what the cost of labor was would scare me out the door so she wouldnt have to deal with me. the stones they had on display were nice but Ive seen much prettier stones at other stores. i will never come back to this store or do business with this company for any future jobs i have planned, and will tell everyone i know that this company looks down on customers as if theyre better than them.
Ordered white cabinet based on showroom white cabinet. Delivered bone/ yellowish tone cabinets. The height of individual units do not line up and the walls are not straight; the gaps have to be clamped together. Missing side finishing piece and scribe molding. Asked to provide missing piece; was told I have to buy them. These people have no concept of customer service. Also, they are not responsive. Have to keep following up. I regret buying from them.
Recently dealt with them for a new construction project for a new kitchen. Their phone service is the worst, they never pick up the phone or return your voicemails. I had to go in multiple times to make any changes. Three stars because of the quality product, price, and installers. Jesse did a great job installing the granite for us!
We used them for our two bathrooms and kitchen. Cabinets and counters for both installed. We scheduled the install about a month ahead of time and they showed up when they said they would and installed everything properly. Mike was great helping us pick the best cabinets and drawers to maximize our space. The fridge piece was wrong the first time but they came the next week and installed the correct piece no problem. Awesome value and for the price you pay solid quality.
Quality cabinets and counters, complete service. They have good showroom, design layout and all the features, provide delivery and installation, cabinets/counters/backsplash. All at very reasonable prices, much less than a big box store would charge. their customer support is very nice too. Some limitations include a less generous return policy but this is to be expected at the price level which is essentially warehouse. We did 2 counters and then 2 kitchens with Pius. Smooth experience so far.
Lina is super helpful. Great customer service and knowledgeable. Cabinets were priced right
Excellent service and pricing. We renovated our kitchen and Katrina worked closely with us to get it just right. Looks great! Thanks!
I had Pius do 32feet of beautiful Blue Star granite counter tops. The sales staff was extremely helpful. They even gave me the name of a tile installer for my kitchen floors who were Amazing! Back to counter tops. The 2 men arrived and began cutting and fitting the countertops. In 6 and a half hours they were done. The cost was just over $3000. Itsbeen a month and the quality of the counter tops, the workmanship is outstanding! I waited 25 years to have the kitchen I dreamed of. I have never had anything this wonderful in my whole life. Why would anyone go any where else? The cost, the quality and the service is unmatched anywhere!!
Specd out some cabinets with these guys a month ago. My contractor just started work, so I needed the exact measurements for the cabinets in short order. I called multiple times (at least every hour) on a Friday from open to close and not a single representative answered the phone. This has made me second guess their service overall. If you cant even answer a business call in timely fashion, how can I expect you to deliver on time?
Mike was the best. This is my first home and I was in desperate need of a kitchen but had no idea how to approach this. Mike was so helpful and had brilliant advice. Hes created a new kitchen with excellent counter tops for me (and with all my questions!). I highly recommend Mike at Pius .
We had a great experience with Pius cabinets, they were quick, professional and flexible. They have competitive prices. Amber was our sales rep. She was responsive and flexible was well. Overall painless experience. Definitely recommend! Thank you!
Sold us tile that was out of stock and gave different tile to delivery guy. When returned they declined to refund for delivery because “screw ups are normal in renovation projects and we are small family business that don’t have lots of money”.
Customer fronted, expeditious staff/advisors huge selection
For prefabricated granite and quartz, this place is perfect. Simple pricing and a good selection. Also, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
1 Star for the slab, its beautiful. The service after purchase was terrible. So terrible Id never recommend this company to anyone. We were told wed be able to pick out the slabs on the day of install. This was important to us as we were our own interior designers. However, on the day of install we got a call from the installers and they were already on their way with the slabs. We have a long L shaped counter with a waterfall. I was hoping theyd pick slabs that would piece together as seamlessly as possible, but they didnt. And on top of that, they cut and pieced the slabs together in a way that made it jarring. I understand we picked quartzite and the lines cant line up, but they pieced very dark pieces against very light pieces and its jarring.I could have overlooked this, but the seams between pieces was also amateur hour. I was expecting thin clean lines, but instead got wide, uneven, and rough cut. The seam at the cook top varies in width and the cut at the L bend is jagged and not straight. And the waterfall? I was originally mad that they picked such different pieces that it looks less like a waterfall and more like two different pieces slapped together (again, quartzite, I get it, but they didnt even try to consider the design). Im more mad because its not even a 90 degree angle. The water fall is slightly slanted. No attention to detail. And finally, the sink isnt centered with the window. Its off by about two inches. They didnt consult or ask us what we wanted to do here so they just lined it up with the cabinet doors. Everyone knows its easier to move a window than it is to adjust cabinet doors...Overall just sloppy inconsiderate work and their customer service eventually ghosted me. So now Im here warning you all. Dont do it. And if you do, be very involved in the install process because they dont care about their work post purchase. There are cracks in all the seams now. Customer service is ignoring me. Im telling everyone I work with to stay away from this company
I ordered two standard quartz here and paid the full amount before I pick it up. The day when we arrive for picking up, they told me there is no standard countertop in their stock, and they would like to give me a bigger one and I need to cut it off by myself. WTF?! I finally paid 100 more for the shipping and 200 more for the labor of cutting it. I already paid the full amount, so you should keep it for me. Or if you dont have it, you should let me know before Im there for pickup. BTW, their lines take forever to connect.
Ordered the new granite countertop on Wednesday, received call that it was ready on Saturday and picked up on Monday, no issues whatsoever. Will be definitely back when I get to the kitchen upgrade project.
Great prices on cheap stuff made in China. I got a steak off a deal on a quarter counter, installed. Took forever to get it from China as they frequently order your purchase from there after you make the purchase. Cabinets were more of a hot or miss thing. They are pretty cheap prefab cabinets that would do well in your rental but not very nice for your primary home. I installed some of their cabinets and they look fine, but when you get up close and look at the details, you got what you paid for.
Awful experience with this company. I bought a cabinet that I had to return because it didn’t match what we had and they refused my return saying I had already installed the cabinet, which I most definitely did not. The marks he claims prove it was already installed then must have been on the cabinet when I bought it, which means they sold me a used cabinet and passed it off as new.I walked in that day expecting to return a cabinet, and instead ended up getting yelled at by the gentleman in the warehouse that this was a worthless cabinet that he would not accept because it was already installed. I cant remember being treated this rudely in my life by an employee of a company with which I was doing business. It wasnt only the wrong accusation, but it was his tone and attitude with me that I couldnt believe was happening. So instead of a smooth return, it was 90+ minutes and a long phone conversation with Sally (a warehouse manager?) who I told I would file a dispute with my credit card company and get a full refund if she refused my return. I let her know I could easily prove the cabinet was never installed because there would be holes in the wall and adjoining kitchen cabinets at my home, which there are not, and this would be all the evidence my credit company would need to give me a full refund. This seemed to be enough for her to decide to allow me to return this cabinet at 75% value. Lucky me.Ill never step foot in Pius again after this unbelievable experience. You have lots of kitchen and cabinet choices in Seattle. I highly recommend you choose elsewhere.
Thank you Judy for sending me the new Calacatta Stream stone pic ! Love that it’s its lighter. See you soon
Ive used Pius for cabinets, granite, sinks, tiles etc for many remodel projects over the last 3 years. Service as always been friendly from the front end staff to the management in the back. They offer great competitive pricing in the area and offer great advice in design, color and remodel. Sometimes I run into issues with quality or installation, but they always fix it for me without a problem. Ask for Ako when you stop by, hes super helpful.
I DO NOT recommend working with Pius. We have had the worst customer service experience Ive ever had that has drawn out over 2 months. I am so frustrated and sad that something we have saved for and looked forward to for five years has been a complete nightmare. There has been problem after problem. Our initial sales rep was kind and helpful, and informed us the cabinets we chose does not come with any special accessories. This was fine because he said there are accessories you can purchase through other companies that fit standard cabinet sizes. He told us a few ideas of where we could look to purchase these accessories, and provided the dimensions of the cabinets so we could ensure they fit correctly. We had 2 blind cabinets with a 15 wide opening. But once installed, they couldnt clear other cabinet handles or appliance handles. Again, we had the company come and take measurements so we would avoid any issues like this.Their solution was to adjust the door openings to 12 inches. That solved the problem of clearing the handles, but we essentially have 2 unusable cabinets because they are blind and deep, we cant access the pegs in the back to install the shelves. We had ordered cabinet accessories after purchasing the cabinets based on what they planned, however we had to return those because they no longer fit the opening. Since the return wasnt due to a defect in the product, I had to pay shipping which was $185. We had damaged panels delivered, and wrong colors delivered. Those were corrected but impacted our completion time.We have left several emails and messaged with Pius, and it is very difficult to get a hold of them. When you call, you get a menu of options which either ends up being on hold forever or leaving a message that never gets followed up.After two weeks of trying to get hold of a manager, we did get a reply from the manager, who essentially blamed us for all of their mistakes. They said we should have checked carefully that our appliances would have fit, and checked the cabinet accessories we bought would fit the cabinet openings. I am not a kitchen designer, which is we sought out a company that could help us make our vision come to life. But to have a company fault the customer for their work is completely unprofessional. You can see this, and the companys reply in my Yelp review.
Phenomenal and Reasonably Priced - I have used this company for my three bathrooms, one of which I just remodeled. They were on time and finished very quickly.
You get what you pay for that’s for sure, the quality is mediocre but fit our budget. Now that we’re all paid up they’re less than helpful. One of our doors was not in stock and a month later after picking everything up they contacted us saying it was in stock. Drove all the way to Seattle and found out that information was incorrect and left without our cabinet door. Sales reps could care less.
Store has a number of locations. Quite busy. A personnel is friendly. If you use a subcontractor that has an account with them, you could get a discounted price for your order. Be aware that there is 25% restocking fee if you decide to return an item.
James was great, a huge help. Brought our imagination to reality. Couple cabinet pieces took awhile to come in.
We prepaid our countertops in June 2019. At the time of purchase we asked to schedule a time to pick out our counter tops, one of those counter tops was a 10 slab; we were told to pick out our countertops the day of delivery. We even called 3 weeks after purchase to schedule an appointment to pick our slabs - we were told the same and not to worry as there was plenty of inventory. Well today is delivery day, our contractor arrived at Pius to pick out the slabs and they do not have our pre-paid countertops on hand!!!!!! How can this happen?!! We are on a tight schedule to finish a house - where are we going to get a 10 slab on a moments notice!!!! And the attitude of Pius staff is cavalier!!! What a mess! We are furious that they could let this happen!! If the Manager is reading this and is interested in resolving this - ask Amber for the details and find our slabs!
They never answer their phone and when you go in to the store people are just sitting around. They also send you to multiple locations because they cant figure out which warehouse their stock is in.
BE SURE TO READ THE BAD REPORTS - they are from the real customers....Our sales person was good, once we waited around long enough to get to talk to her. She worked with us to design the cabinets and was responsive. However they missed our appointment and we had to make multiple trips to get the cabinets. The real disaster happened when we went to pick out our granite. The sales people say that you can go to the warehouse and pick your slab.. which is something most buyers want to hear. However the warehouse folks are lazy, rude, and careless, the warehouse is basically a parking lot filled with broken crates that are supposed to house expensive granite. the warehouse workers make it almost impossible for you to look at a slab, they either ignore you all together or barely address you while constantly yelling at each other (in Chinese) I waited in the heat of the day for over an hour and a half just to get a peak at the granite, my peak involved climbing onto tilting slabs of granite and trying to peer into a broken crate to see slabs - it was an unsafe, disrespectful, horrible experience that I would never go through again. The cabinets were good, but never EVER purchase granite there!
Boy did I get lucky! Late last year my husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen at our home in Seattle so that when we come back just before summer it would be brand new (we split our time between Arizona and Seattle). Our contractor asked us to stop by Pius on our way to the airport and pick out what we wanted, so he could get everything done by the time we came back. We did just that, and here is the part where we got lucky.. We ran into a young lady who was an interior designer (she didnt work at Pius, but was working with a client and happened to be a friend of the owners...if Im not mistaken, her name was Alma) any whooo, she was so helpful in helping us pick out the right style cabinets and countertop, all in about 20 minutes! She had us show her pictures of our kitchen, explain what we didnt like about it, what we did, and she gave us suggestions on cabinets and a countertop, and she quickly took a piece of paper and sketched out for us where to put everything. WE WERE IN LOVE! The owner showed up, whom she was meeting with, but she continued to work with us and only when it came time for us to pay did she go get an employee to pass us off and complete the transaction. We had an amazing contractor who took care of picking up all of the material and ensuring it was all installed properly (which clearly is very important after reading some of the reviews). Although we didnt really work much with the actual Pius employees, the owners friend, Almas (I hope thats her name) willingness to help and her generosity is a reflection of the company and its true values. We came home to Seattle to a beautiful new kitchen early this week and we could not be more grateful for Alma, Pius and our contractors! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL OF YOU!
Judy was great! She provided a good customer service and Judy was very helpful showing diferent options for vanitys.
Planning remodeling your kitchen on a budget? Then, you should definitely visit Pius, as they have several options based on your budget, specs, and color. You can have them do the measurements and installation and compared to Houzz, Ikea, and Amazon Home Services, they are the most reasonably priced controlling for the quality of their selections and the cost of installation. Since I had my own contractors, I decided not to go with Pius installation only because they were booked straight for 16 days and I really wanted to finish my remodeling so I paid few hundred dollars extra and had my contractor do the installation.
Don’t buy any countertops from them . they installed the countertops after the client took a look at them we found a crack and they sent someone to repair it and it wasn’t repaired at all . Awful customer service and there only solution wasn’t to replace the countertop they cracked . They want the client to buy another one . Don’t spend one dime at this store . There nothing but liars .
Being a General Contractor, we routinely use different companies for various needs. This company has fallen short almost every single time. They make a lot of mistakes. Not enough granite ordered, handles missing off of cabinets after install. This wouldnt be an issue if they didnt charge you for these mistakes. We rarely give poor reviews because we understand that people make mistakes in the construction process. However, these mistakes they make are extremely expensive.Example, in one of our previous installs we were quoted a market average price for cabinets and installation of the cabinets and granite for one of our customers. We quoted our customer with our markup and then the estimator missed a backsplash. It wouldnt be a big deal if this didnt require them to purchase an entire slab for a backsplash because the remnants had already been discarded. Then they issued us a substantial change order for the missed item. Mistakes like this have happened on every one of our jobs with pius. The final straw was today when two cabinet handles were forgotten and the installer didnt correct the issue. We went to pius for them even showing that we had paid for all of them originally and two were forgotten. They charged us for both of the handles that they forgot. All of these problems have caused us problems with our clients and our bottom line. Almost every single job weve done through pius have had significant problems and leading to problems with our customers.
I have a house on the lake and remodeled the kitchen. The Pius cabinets have been great and John and the team have gone above and beyond my expectations. I definitely recommend these guys and will be using them again when I redo my Master Bath in the next year.
Love the selection of cabinets and countertops. Sales rep that helped me should take a course on customer service. This review wouldve been a 3 star, but Judy was very friendly, helpful, and made things right after the sales rep screwed up my order.
Great service once you get someone on the phone. had an easy time browsing the showroom and staff were friendly
Order should be ready on Aug 3 but still(Aug 18) not able to pick up my order. Spent more than an hour but never pick up their phone.
Friendly, helpful and honest! Great prices and better service!
In a word: Lousy!I ordered my granite two months prior to the start of my master bath remodel, but only received a call on the week of planned installation that they SOLD my granite slab to someone else and were out of stock for the foreseeable future with the type of stone I picked. I had to go back to the showroom to pick another slab from an inferior and limited selection, with other stone styles also being out of stock. They offered no further guidance or help. After I made a new selection, they promised to have the slab cut fast so my project can stay on track. Only those were just words to appease me. They never called me back or answered mine or my project manager’s follow-up calls. It took a full week to get the new slab which pushed my project out a full week. When the slab was installed, it looked poorly finished with small scratches and various chips ranging in size from pinhole size to pencil eraser tip sized chips. One chip was so bad it had to be filled later but is still visible and noticeable to the touch. The backsplash was also slightly damaged, which needed to be reordered and installed an additional three days later. The new backsplash was from a different slab so it looks obviously different than the countertop and stands out a lot compared to the countertop. They usually dont answer their phones when you call – give it a try sometime and see if you actually get a human on the phone. Also, it is hard to get any service or quality information in person at their showrooms. There are many other places to get cabinets and counters. Look elsewhere and save yourself lots of aggravation.
I worked with Miko on my new kitchen design. She was very helpful and patient as it took 3 revisions to get everything to fit properly to my liking. I ordered the cabinets and had them delivered to my house in Eastern Washington. I installed them myself and had Pius install the counter tops. The new kitchen looks GREAT. Ive have plenty of good comments on them. The quality was better than IKEA and I also saved money, compared to other stores. I highly recommend Pius if you need a new kitchen. I would use them again.
Mike was great service, and the granite installers where the best in the business. Very friendly, respectful, and talented in installing a double waterfall.
2x we picked out material, and 2x they then told us they didnt have it in stock. Im done eatingw my time here.
I spoke to Mandy on Monday, she assured me my cabinets would be ready on Wednesday (the day they arranged for them), today is Wednesday and Mandy tells us they arent ready? Really? You had one job, one job and you failed. I asked to speak to a manager and am still waiting for a call back.We are told our cabinets will be in tomorrow, they cant guarantee that though so what am I suppose to think?? Now, Im thinking we should have went with someone else.Weve already been waiting three weeks for cabinets
In the past 4 years we have used Pius 4 times. We have always found the people in the store to be very helpful although sometimes they can be shorthanded- especially the store on 4th Avenue. The biggest problem is their installers. The first couple of times their installers came - they were great. They cleaned up after themselves- the installation was done well and we were very happy with the product. The last two times they have come has been really disappointing. They give you a window- morning or afternoon and you sit and wait (I know this is common with many contractors)- but the problem is they cancel, reschedule, the work is shoddy and they leave a mess.Last month Pius was scheduled to come to install a piece of granite for an outdoor kitchen and install a bathroom vanity and granite countertop. On the day of the installation, they called around noon and said they would not be coming. They said they did not have an installer working that day who was skilled enough to install our granite. Didnt I want my granite to turn out well? This created quite a problem because we had scheduled additional builders to work on the outdoor kitchen and it threw the whole project off. They said they could come the following weekend. They showed up the next weekend and when carrying the large piece of granite to the back of the house for the kitchen- they hit an outdoor light and broke it. We didnt see them do it- but the light is on the front of out house, right in front of the driveway and we would have noticed had it been broken earlier. The light was skewed sideways and the glass was broken. We asked them about the light and they denied it. We didnt see them actually hit the light and really had no recourse. In the bathroom, the vanity door opened the wrong direction- and two of the drawers kept falling off the runner. We didnt realize this until later. The other odd thing is that after they arrived, a guy shows up at our house with an additional piece of granite and starts cutting and sanding it. It wasnt our granite and I noticed the guy was just standing around, not helping them, so I asked them about it. He said it was his granite- and I guess he just came to our house to use their tools and our water and electricity. They also left a huge mess in our driveway. So I went back to Pius to talk to them about fixing the door and the drawers on the vanity and I had to order a pantry for the bathroom (they did not have it in stock when I placed the original order) . They charged me $75 to replace the vanity door and they would fix the drawers for free. So I scheduled the job - 3 weeks out- and waited. I thought it was weird when I didnt get any kind of call from Pius today, so I called them at 11:00am to see if they knew what time their installer would be here. They sounded kind of funny as if they didnt know about the job and said they would call me right back. I waited until 1:00 and called them back and the woman who answered said they were loading up the truck and would be here this afternoon. No show... Finally at 4:30 I called again and got a young man who said he would have to call me back. Pius called me back at 4:45 and they told me they would be coming- could they come next Monday or Tuesday? It almost appears that management for Pius has changed. My first two experiences were great- flawless really. The last two have been mismanaged. I used to recommend these guys- but not anymore....
I bought a counter top for my kitchen and two countertops for both of my bathrooms. the first indication that something was amiss was that they did not have the stone in stock of the variety that we picked out.. so had to make another trip down there to select another...on the third choice they had in stock, so I ordered that one. i had also ordered a sepparate countertop for the two bathrooms, along with a cabinet that had a different countertop on it. when they came to install the countertops, they only had the kitchen countertop stone for the kitchen and the bathrooms (already cut out when I found out what was going on). so they took the bathroom countertops back after my contractor and I yelled at them. the manager said they would get me the right top soon...the next week they came with what was on the cabinet that I bought, not the countertop that we wanted. It seems like they were out of the countertop that I wanted and the manager thought that that was what I wanted. Essentually I spent over $6,000 on something that was not what we wanted in the first place...they did give us a 150 refund...but this hardly makes up for the poor customer service that I received.
Nice selection and friendly customer service. Very busy showroom!
Good service! A lot of selection. The price is right.
Amazing selection of granite.
Love the product, the people and their service! Will always use them for our remodel projects! Thank you thank you thank you Jason!
Even when you order well in advance, the orders are never pulled, and it typically takes at least 2 hours to get your merchandise. Only to get back and find out that many pieces are damaged and/or incorrect. On top of that, the quality of the merchandise is poor.
UPDATE 12/6/18================We had a flood and the countertops were damaged when the abatement company took our cabinets out (not Pius that took them out). So we went back to pius to replace the old ones.Although pius did a great job with install as before, they do NOT answer their phones or email forcing me to have to make a drive out there twice just to confirm things on dates and amounts. The lady at the desk on 4th laughed when I brought this issue up.Those folks behind the desk dont seem to take their job seriously and had trouble processing our payment. I stood around for 20 minutes while she fumbled around until someone finally came and helped her. They also required all of the money up front. I can understand half down, but all before install shows distrust on their end. They were also out of a lot of inventory. Being in a hurry to get our kitchen back we took something that was 2nd choice and that is on us because we didnt have time to go to competitors.I tried contacting the owner John who also never replied. These factors are not a good way to do business so they lost some stars.=================================Sales: No pressured sales, just people at a customer service desk ready to answer questions and provide a bid.Installation: They promptly came to our house, pulled their tools and sawhorses out, measured our cabinets and cut our granite to fit right there. When they left the driveway was clean like they were never there.Pros:1.) Excellent communication and vision.2.) Extremely intelligent people. They could read our plans and present options on the spot.3.) They were prompt and made room in their schedule in less than a week! We were under a time crunch, the manager (John) was called in and made it all happen. Thanks John!4.) Installers were prompt, professional and polite. They even took off their shoes everytime they came in the house!!5.) Left our house very clean, both inside and out.6.) The job was extremely well done. No detail was left undone. Impressive7.) Price and quality!!!!Cons:NONEBackround/story:We are doing a massive remodel to our old 1955 house this year (re-pipe, rewire (adding ground wires), cabinets, countertops, windows and flooring). Most of it has been this summer. For the most part, if you can find a good bunch of reviews on a contractor or service provider dealing with them is a pleasure. Everyone is so damn busy this time of year that some didnt show up! We were going to get laminate counter tops because our original two bids for granite were over $5,000. So I didnt really look any further until our laminate guy didnt show up, in fact he outright just disappeared on us. This just a week before our cabinets went in. So we frantically started calling around for a replacement. NO ONE was available or weirdness (red flags) not to use who I did find.My wife and I were driving down town Seattle and saw a cabinet/countertop shop. Namely Chinese district. The bid was half the price of my original bids which surprised the heck out of us, but the few shops we saw had horrible reviews. The last shop we finally saw was PIUS, it was obvious from stepping foot in the door to the people we talked to they had their act together. They were a big operation. The pricing was still half the American run shops in Kirkland and Bellevue, but quality is still there. You can see it on their show room floor models. If you are looking at granite counter tops, this is the place to go for both price and quality. I should mention that a competitor offered a few hundred less, but Im not sure the quality would be there as PIUS had to offer. I mentioned this and he would not drop his price. Glad I stuck with these guys though, a few hundred dollars for a lifetime of bad granite,,, obviously worth the few extra bucks. Conclusion:Call these guys in your line up first!
I have been buying from Pius since 2012 like there pricing and quality on granite and cabinets. Randy is very helpful and knowledgeable sales professional
