The level of care this company has for its paying customers is appalling. If you came to this page hoping to contact someone at the corporate office, I’ve got bad news for you. When you call the corporate office and select the option for customer service issue, the voicemail says they will forward your issue to the management team I the area. So it’s just a brush off. I’m so sorry to anyone that made the mistake of using these guys for anything to do with your car. You are SOL. You’d be better off teaching yourself how to do it. Even if you screw it up, at least the person who did it will take accountability for it. When your local Car Toys messes it up, you will be stuck with no options other than to hope another shop or the dealership can fix it for a reasonable price. I don’t know what we are going to do about my wife’s car other than pay someone else to fix it and do the work twice and spread the word about this business.

Car toys ft Collins did my stereo and amp install. Got in my car in the parking lot turned it on nothing worked. Manager said it was my equipment so I bought there equipment on the spot. Called me 10 min later said they had it wired wrong and it works fine. On the two hoir drive home it stopped working again. I called they said bring it back I said its a two hour drive they offered 50 bucks for gas. So I took a look at there work. Wires had no shrink tube my amp power wire and amp input wires ran together giving me feedback when I start vehicle. Power wires from battery lose no zip ties and just laying on top of my throttle body making my car make a ticking noise till I moved it. Called and complained finally got them to send me a check took it to my bank deposited it two days later they stopped the check charging me 210 ten dollars. Called corporate again and the guy was laughing. I feel like getting a restraint order on car toys worse experience at the highest price. 350 bucks wasted for the install plus my gas money and them there 210 dollar check that bounced. Read your reply answered and emailed you. Nothing back cant say I didnt see it coming. Why even reply so you look like you acutely care about the customer? Well people out there they dont just a show take my advice take your vehicles to a small private owned installing business car toys just take your money your time and damage your vehicle with no compensation.

I have an ongoing issue... 3-3-21 and the regional manager is the problem. They lie and are not accountable. The corporate office does not return calls. Wish I could post a picture because it still wasn’t corrected after the corporate office and other stores were made aware. Wish I had read these 1st. Went to buy an alpine with free installation and the regional manager lied and said the alpine did not have the free install. The model in the store was not marked, so I checked online when I got home. Called another store to make sure the next morning. This was John, the Regional Manager and he ripped me off for $200 using high pressure tactics and lying. Beware. Better to not have to deal with the bs than take your chances things are marked correctly.

Car Toys did a major injustice to me. I went to a local shop looking to get an alarm system installed in my truck. I wanted a keyless entry remote start system. The guy showed me what type he will install based on my price range. Mind you Im a novice when it comes to car electrical installs. I agreed on the package Compustar 3000 feet LCD remote package. Not only did he not install its properly. He put a cheaper inferior device in my vehicle! And charged me for the premium package! I financed through there company so it was to little to late. All the paperwork was final! I have been paying for something that is triple the amount its worth.To add insult to injury I took my car back for a 2nd time because he left wires hanging on my dash. And forgot to connect my hand brake so I was stuck at a store for 2hrs trying to figure out what the heck happened.Unprofessional and shady business going on BUYER BE WARe the employees are not professionals. Just wolves with there fangs out waiting to drain whoever comes inside there building.

My original review was done in my pocket, my phone did it all by itself. This review is me. I would have given them 5 stars, the only problem is that theres a metal plate on the floor board of my car and I have no idea where it goes. Everything else is pretty good. They had my car for over 24 Hours, but it was pretty packed in there anyway. Customer service was good. The technician had kind of a rough time with my vehicle. But I totally get how every single vehicle that comes in there is a little bit different, Im in the remodel business and I know 2 houses are ever the same even if theyre cookie cutter. Like I said everything was good except that metal plate sitting on the passenger side floor board. And again it was hectic and there was issues with my car so I can see it being overlooked but it is what it is.Edit: after having my alarm installed my vehicle was broken into twice. 2 nights in a row. $700 worth of glass replacement, and $2000 of stereo equipment. The first night someone could say that I didnt turn the alarm on (high car prowl area where I live, so no, its a religion to turn it on), but the second night of not going off says something. Especially when I open the door and the alarm does go off. When I called them about it they said they could try to squeeze you (me) in day after tomorrow, but we may have to keep your car overnight. Again, customer service was fantastic while in the store...

This is my third post about our truck!So car toys did replace the switch ( no knob to turn them on. So We go buy the knob, our money and our time. Just got back from the mechanic, as the knob won’t fit. Car Toys installed ithe wrong switch! We need the appropriate switch for the wipers. Once again we can not drive our truck if it may rain!!!My husband and I spoke with this store on three occasions to have remote locks installed in our sons truck for Christmas. Three times the took the truck info including that it already has electric locks and the price 3 times was $159. So we take off of work and head to the store and lo and behold it is now $70 more . As we had already taken off of work we said ok. We waited as they checked the truck and made sure everything working, it was. Now, it will take 3-4 hours so we left the truck. We drive 25 minutes home and we’re home about 29 minutes when they called and said it is ready! So we drive back there and they gave us the keys. Christmas Day he was excited and went to open the truck and the drivers side kick didn’t work at all!!! A couple of days later, without ever driving it, it began working???? So on the 30tg he was going to drive it to work, it was raining. The wipers didn’t work as the control was broken and the battery instrument was going crazy, the pull was broken!!! He could not drive it in the rain!! We took a perfectly working truck there, to receiving one back we can not drive!! I emailed the store with no response. If the price bait and switch was not bad enough, they ruined his Christmas surprise and his truck!!!!

I wish my wife hadnt took my 2020 Colorado to Car Toys for Fathers Day. When they put speakers in my truck the door panels and other panels were broken by them. Door clips broken and picks of damage interior. My battery cover was damaged as well. I called numerous times to the cooperate office and no avail!! I got an estimate from Chevy and still waiting on Car Toys response to approve the estimate so that Chevy can bring it back to factory.Anyone has any luck trying to get an issue resolved good luck! Car Toys will give you the run around. I am a fair local guide for Google and this is beyond unprofessional service i ever seen!!

Car Toys does not specialize in professional auto detailing. Their employees skills are subpar at best. There is no inspection or quality control at all.If you want a good detail its going to take at least one full day or so and its going to cost you quite a bit more as well.If you are not pleased with Car Toys detailing service you would be well advised to seek out a company that specializes in professional auto detailing alone.You will never find top notch detailing service at Car Toys or any other big box chain retail stores.Try a small business detail shop. They are typically highly skilled at their craft, very experienced & provide amazing detail work.

If I could give them a zero rating I would. Purchased a stereo and I’ve had problems with it ever since. The stereo was faulty at first. Messed up my electrical system on my dashboard. After 4 or 5 times they put in a different stereo while trying to say that they’re doing the labor for free.......NO, you’re trying to fix what I paid for that y’all messed up on.Sales representatives with the exception of Josh from the Everett Mall Way location are rude. They try to give the impression that you are the wrong one, that you don’t know what you’re talking about or are lying to them so that you can waste hours in their shop as if you have nothing better to do. Every time I’ve taken my car back in I was correct, the system still is not working and they don’t know what they’re doing. They make excuses about why you’re system won’t work instead of admitting that they don’t know what they’re doing. I was going to have them take back their stereo......but why? The damage is already done. It’ll never work correctly again. So I’d rather stay away!!!!!!!I will be calling corporate in hopes that they’ll rectify this situation. I doubt it.WISH I WOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST. My car has been taken back to them about 6 times, I actually want to say 7 and it’s still broke.DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spent $1200.00 on a stereo, amp, and speakers. Sound keeps cutting in and out, loud and then low volume. Sometimes when you hit a bump it goes from low to loud or vise/versa. Been back 3 times now for repair and still the same, although the techs say they found the problem. Having to wait 1 hour past your appointment time isn’t what I call great customer service either. Doesn’t seem to matter which Car Toys you go to they are ALL the same! I will never go back and will spread the word far and wide to any and everyone to stay away from Car Toys!!!

If you are looking to use Car Toys in Fort Worth, Dont!! They have very poor communication between each other. They told me to come in for a install. When I got there. They didnt have hardly any of the inventory that was told to me that they would install. Being that I also brought my own amp, skeakers and navigation system. Was also wanting a few subs and some other speakers but they didnt have it. So I asked them to just install what I brought. They said sure. So they worked on it and I picked my van up the next day. It supposedly took them almost 9 hrs at 85.00 dollars a hr to install two component speakers, one amp and a navigation system. They said they would also detail it. The following day they called me around 7 pm and said they were finishing it up. I showed up around 8 pm and they were still working on it. They were closing at 9 pm. About 10 minutes before they closed they said it was ready. They guy working closed out my ticket and said it was over 1700 dollars for the install. Way way too expensive. Almost 900 dollars was for labor. Okay so I get in my van. The speakers they installed didnt work, they set off my airbag sensor and didnt tell me. Had to bring it back the next day and leave it once again. Four hrs later they call me to come get it and they said they couldnt do anything about the airbag sensor. That it was like that when I brought it in. I discussed the bill with them about the labor with the guy in charge and they said it was right. Well at least my speakers and my navigation system is working but I now have to take my van to a mechanic to fix a airbag issue that they caused. No refund on labor. Talked to the district manager and he said that this was not right and that he would get back to me. Its been 2 weeks and nothing. Dont take your car there. Save yourself money and do your research on other places that do good work and dont completely rip you off.

Car toys is the worst. Lie to you and tell you what you want to hear so you buy things like a warranty that is covered for anything and then when you need service they say you arent covered. They are scheming thieves that need shut down. Why to here when you can get the same thing for less at Best buy with actual salesmen, not crackheads

I would highly recommend NOT using this location. They started off by ripping me off on the price of their JL Audio Brand Equipment by telling me that the system I chose was not going to be what I wanted and cost less. When I paid for it was actually more than the high cost they gave me initially. They called me on the phone during the installation and told me it was going to be less then originally quoted and then charged me more even than that!!!! I am not one to usually get taken advantage of so buyers beware. They gave me back my vehicle and after spending over $1200 there wasn’t very much a difference from what it sounded like before we dropped it off. They offered for me to come back n the AM and see if they could do anything for me (calibrating, which should have already been done). When I left my vehicle started malfunctioning. When they installed the amplifier, they messed up wires that went to the remote start and the auto start/stop system. I am now awaiting the cost from the Jeep dealer to see how much I have to pay to get their screw up fixed. Long story short I overpaid for a system that doesn’t work, got lied to multiple times, treated completely unprofessional, and now I am paying for the damage done to the existing electronics. I WARN YOU, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Found a stereo that I really wanted and been looking for and when I got home and opened the box I found it had missing pieces. Called the store and told them about it they told me I can go online to this site and find the missing pieces. I paid $1500 for this deck and feel like I shouldnt have to go searching for parts. So I took it back to the store and tried talking to them in person, after being skipped over once or twice I finally talked to someone. And instead of trying to help me out and call other stores to see if they had it, they just told me no so I returned it and got my money back. Terrible customer service, over charging for everything, away trying to add extra stuff to get more money out of you and would rather lose a customer than take the time to the job right and help you out.

If I could give a negative star rating I would. I purchased a car stereo amp from the Cartoys at Parkmeadow mall in Colorado, instead of buying from Amazon. I wanted to shop local even though it cost me $100.00 more at Cartoys. The amp was supposed to come with a speaker level input harness...but it didnt. When I called the store (which was an hour away), they were very rude and offered me to come to their store and purchase a $20.00 adapter, after already spending $500.00 and not receiving all of the parts that were supposed to come with the amp. I had already torn apart my car, wired everything with the expectation that I would be connecting my stereo with the harness which was supposed to be in the box. Upon going to connect the amp, I then noticed the harness was missing. I had already done all of the rest of the install. This was the final piece. When I spoke to both the sale clerk and the manager, they both became angry with me and began raising their voices, even though it was their mistake. I the drove to the store in Boulder where their resolve was to provide me with an adapter, which I would then have to totally disassemble all of the work I just did in order to connect this adapter properly. The store in Parkmeadows mall did eventually find an adapter, but then refused to overnight it to me. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I returned the amp and purchased the same one on Amazon for less money!!!! I will never shop at Cartoys again....EVER!!!!!!

This company doesnt do what they say, screws up your car, cant fix it, and then when you want to find a district manager, there is literally NO way to reach them, its the game of leave a message or send and email and not get a response. If you want something done to your car, go with a smaller locally owned store or quite simply any other company and youll do better.

I recently had a car stereo installed and they broke my clutch switch. Ive tried several different attempts to contact the corporate office to resolve the issue but for several days now the have not responded to my Facebook post, Instagram posts, emails and voicemails I’ve left for them.

Installed a alarm and auto start and now my head lights won’t go off. Asked the store for help getting it back to them and was told that couldn’t help me out. Now my new truck is dead and their unwillingness too help is now going to cost me even more.

My niece has had nothing but problems since installing sound system. The heater random comes on full blast and won’t turn off. This is the sixth time We have had to take it in. They continually say that’s its fixed however the issue has yet to be resolved. The regional manager returned my phone call to inform me they were doing everything they could. It seems as though their standards are relatively low and poor or effortless customer service. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND.

Worst company ever. I now have a $2,300 stereo that doesnt work. It constantly shuts off. No help what so ever. Been down there three time used up 21 hours of not having my truck across a spane of three days. Total BS. Het card Toys YOU HAVE ONE JOB, ONE and you cant even do that.

Just spent 360.00 for my truck to be detailed and to pick it up after you having it for 9 hours and its filthy. Your 3 employees just give me excuses that this is how they do it. They didnt call me that the wax wasnt working. I have 20 photos of how dirty this truck is, I dont even think they washed it. Rear window so dirty its hard to see out. They want me to bring it back to wash the window. I already spent 1 day and 2 Uber trips and you did a half/ass job the first. Why would I bring it in again????? Someone is going to make this right!

Terrible service, angry installers and service reps, justifying lack of communication is a reason to be able to charge more onto a previously agreed upon bill, not let you see your car before you pay and the once you do see all the damage and shotty looking mess they left behind, they look straight at your face and deny its anything less than perfect. now I have a screwhole in my car battery a trunk full of messy wires and loose copper, a system that is setup like a fire hazard, and a wallet 2,500 just in labor later, I already had my own head unit, amps, subs. wires, and every other part and connector I bought new and consulted them on, they threw away and were missing new parts I had bought that they didnt install but had agreed upon, then charged me more for replacing those parts with other non matching parts, and gave me back my stuff after refusing any refunds or compensation for the damage, they just got more pissed at me, I have had several systems put in and this by far is the worst work, least professional, and most expensiveand after calling corporate office 3 times still no response as to how to handle the damage, I already had to spend 4hours just cleaning up after the mess they made and now my system is already having issues with the way they wired it feeding resistance into my speakers from the RCA and loose power cabled and distributors are falling out creating a fire hazard as well as my now leaking battery they poked a hole in!!!

I have spent close to $5000 on my car stereo and have had nothing but problems with it since the initial installation. Today for the umpteenth time I took my car back because the speakers are crackling...I purchased the extended warranty and keep updating everything they tell me needs to be done and it still sounds horrible and the man tells me they adjusted my amps....seriously with the amount of time and money I have spent on this car and my truck I would think they would correct the issue but apparently thats asking too much from Car Toys. The manager seemed caring but your sales men are horrible. I left my car for 9 hours after missing two hours of work and my boss having to pick me up from your store. My rear door speaker is still cracking and sounds like its loose but they just adjusted my amp. After spending over 10,000 between two cars I will tell everyone I know that Car Toys is a rip off. Both the Colorado Springs stores are horrible! Guess I take it elsewhere.

The worst customer service Ive ever experienced! Ill spend my $5000 at a place that actually wants to show me what Im getting. I went to Tukwila and Tacoma stores thinking maybe one store was having a bad day NOPE THEY BOTH SUCK! I be contacting corporate tomorrow rude ass people!
