I had Manny do my makeup for a rather formal holiday party. He was extremely receptive to my preferences (I wanted something that looked like I wasn’t wearing too much make up, but was still very much a glamorous evening look.) and did an amazing job. He is particularly skilled at a sculpted brow and made sure to check and redo everything I wasn’t too sure about, even though the counter was super busy due to other customers who had holiday parties on the same night. My appointment was much later in the afternoon/early evening and he still paid a lot of attention to detail and did an absolutely fantastic job.I wanted to also note: It takes a certain amount of skill as a makeup artist to do formal make up on east asian facial features without looking a bit extra. Manny definitely hit the sweet spot between natural/subtle/pretty and glamorous/evening with the look he did on me. I would definitely recommend Manny as a make up artist for peoples of East Asian descent or with similarly characteristic complexions and facial features.
A huge shout-out and thanks to Alexia a Mac. About a month ago we called to see if we could get a make-over for my future DIL as they were getting married an elopement style at 6 PM Sunday evening. Mac got us in at three and AP did a marvelous job making the make-up perfect for the bride.
This is my first time using Mac Cosmetics and I have been to the store on 5 different occasions trying to find the perfect shade of foundation and concealer. Graci was amazing in helping me and Ive finally found the perfect colors, although I have to mix two foundations together. Graci was very sweet and patient with me so I will definitely be back. Thank you!
Great Place, rather on the more expensive side
