I went here today to return an item that I had purchased. I walked in and went right up to returns. No one was at any counter but there was an employee who looked up at me standing there waiting for service. She did not acknowledge me and just kept putting items away on the stands. After 5 min I had to say to her is anyone working today. She replied yes on the other side of the counter. So I walked around to the other side as she went to that side. She never apologized or said anything to me. I was not able to get her name because it was covered up with a social distancing button, but I did see that it started with Ir.... and she had an accent when she asked me if I was returning items.I dont normally write a review that is bad, but the customer service here was awful. I understand we are all busy, but she should have acknowledge me and said Ill be right there. I have no problem with that. But for me to have to be the one to acknowledge the employee to make her come to me after her seeing me is wrong. If you dont like you job quit. But you hurt the stores reputation by not providing good customer service.

I hope that they never have to get rid off their 40% off coupon but they are generous enough to slash 40% specific asile or category each week or so. They have a very limited selection of hanging planters decor, lamps, liquid decorative dispensers, wall art sets, decorative baskets, garments, patio cushions, mirrors, pillows, and more. But they have wide selection of home decors varying from fun, modern, themed, luxury, kids, farmhouse, sports, floral, sea, and more.

Any craft item you could possibly need. Sales rotate every other week, I think. However, they did do away with their 40% off coupon on the website which is super lame. Definitely check the sales ad before you come by.

The cool inventory is not even worth checking out because of the insanely rude staff. They profile anyone who doesnt look rich as criminals, follow you around the store and talk down to you about any legit questions you may have. Stay away,trust me.

Hobby Lobby is a national chain of stores based around arts and crafts, plus other random home decorations. This location is quite large and it always has stuff on sale. They have coupons sometimes you should get ready before evenentering the store. The staff here is really nice and friendly. Prices are OK, but they do have lots of choices when it comes to each individual craft.

Service is horrible, everybody there acts like they don’t wanna help u Many items are overpriced. I’ll stick with MICHAELS and JOANN FABRICS were the service is excellent and always welcoming.

Meh. I was one of maybe 5 customers in the store and I was looking around at different items trying to reinvigorate my passion for art. But I was constantly observed by the same employee and it made me feel really uncomfortable. I bought a few things on my list, but Hobby Lobby seems to be turning into a furniture decorative furniture store for other peoples creations rather than sparking interest in my own.

Was okay i went in looking for a specific oversized frame for my poster i had they didnt have it. I inquired about getting one made something cheap and was quoted a price that was crazy in my mind as in too expensive. I was told by an associate that i could have my poster mounted on this type of board which sounded interesting. They explained the process and it sounded acceptable for my need. This was Saturday afternoon and was told it would be done on Monday. I went back Monday to pick it up and found that it wasnt done or had even been touched??? Thanks Dave

This store has so many home decor items, craft materials, and really good service! When Im at a loss for gift ideas I just take a stroll through their aisles and come up with gifts and ideas that are always a hit!

They are ok. As soon as I walk in the door they standoffish and it feels like they think Im gonna steal from them.

They have almost anything that you could think of, nice and spacious, with ample parking. Their where the old Kmart used to be... ho hum..I miss Kmart 😢..lol..

Store is very clean, very helpful staff. no complaints about that location, but this was my first time in Hobby Lobby in years, and I dont remember this weirdness. No aisle or overhead directories - you have to wander around (or get help) to even find the right general area for what youre shopping for. I also dont remember always x% off marked price signs, theyre very confusing - why not just put the actual price? so much of the store forces me into basic math just to figure out the prices are still too high. it felt more like a store to get ideas in rather than spend money in

As a first time visitor, I was completely overwhelmed the moment I stepped foot into the venue once I understood the scope of the sheer volume of hobby goodness and accessories and tools availability oh my! I quickly discovered it was difficult to navigate or locate specific sections or areas as I mentally compared layout, signage and wey finding to Michaels in Ballard. This may sound mean but I think its apt; if Michaels is Target then Hobby Lobby is K-Mart, that could use a refresh and neatness pass, update on signage readability, and overall better optimize for the retail customer experience. The place feels like a mom and pop hobby store on steroids. Like the mom and pop hobby store just suddenly scaled up, but didnt learn Anything along the way. Its big yeah, but it didnt evolve with the growth? I like the place and the content is great, but it needs a design pass from the customer experience perspective, which for an artist resource/material supply retail stores strikes me as hilarious. (Idea: Leverage your giant custome bases design and creative skills to redesign the retail experience via a ridiculous nationwide redesign contest. Submissions must be expressed via products or materials purchased at HL retail. Give the redesign winners a lifetime supply of every product you sell. Redesign store. Entire community in on it. Ta da!)

The store itself is wonderful just like all the other ones but I have never experienced such terribly slow workers like this location has. They look like they are putting effort into being as slow as they are.

Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite stores. This particular location is in a bad area. With it being on Aurora Ave. (Highway 99) in North Seattle it has its fair share of problems. The parking lot is hard to navigate because of the lack of enough parking in front of the business. With the high crime rate in and around the area people do not want to park to far away from where they will be for personal safety and theft of their vehicle and) or personal property.The staff is usually very friendly and helpful. However, there are a few that are suspicious of nearly everyone. I think probably because of the theft rate in this store.I suggest to visit morning or afternoon time. The later and darker it gets the more sketchy it becomes.

My wife, whose first language is not English recently visited this store to buy some buttons and was told by an associate to ask for a coupon at the register. When she got near the register she decided to look at some impulse items when she was forcefully called to check out by a woman named Sherri. My wife asked Sherri for the coupon but Sherri had a difficult time understanding her. Luckily another checker was available to communicate the request to Sherri. Sherri proceeded to ask for a phone number which my wife gave to her. Sherri then asked to see the phone. My wife did not have the phone on her. Sherri then told her she could not give the coupon. Lucky for my wife, once again, the competent checker stepped in to let Sherri know that a phone number was sufficient and that it was not her job to make sure the customer was personally carrying the phone. My wife felt completely degraded by the way Sherri handled the situation and by the way she spoke to her throughout. The two stars are for the competent checker.

Absolutely love this store. I mean whats not to love about any craft store, right? Employees were nice and helpful enough. And I love all the different things in this store, sometimes its fun just to go look around. Some things are priced a little ridiculous, but what store doesnt have that flaw these days. So overall this store is excellent, and most definitely meets my expectations:)

Used to like this place, but...we bought a lock and key set from the drawer pull section, and the realised we couldnt get the lock open because of the angle of the keys. Husband told an employee he was running back to unlock it with a set we hadnt purchased. Employee was ringing out other people and didnt mind at all.. The manager hovering at the door called yeah, hurry up, were closed. My husband ran back, and the second he was out of sight, that manager called for a security check in the area he saw my husband run to.When he came back, he clapped like a soccer coach herding kids and escorted us to the door.The store has stuff in stock, its clean, its open reasonable times--but the manager treating us like a group of criminals really ruined it for us. Wed rather go somewhere where were not treated that way.He also had his mask under his nose, so unless his nostrils are immune to COVID, thats a big bad no from us.

Very quiet

I am normally not a 1-star reviewer as a small business owner, but this interaction caused me to write one. I purchased fabric from this store that the fabric clerk was kind enough to cut into three equal pieces for me. I mentioned not owning a yard stick at home, so her help was delightful. I went to the counter to pay with the 40% coupon for my fabric and was told that, because the SAME fabric was cut into three pieces, it counted as three separate items. I explained what happened and kindly offered to do the math, to which the front desk clerk repeated the rule at me like a brick wall. I bought the store out of the fabric, so short of taping it back together, I was out of options. I also need it for an event tomorrow, which I shared with the front desk clerk, but was met with zero compassion. Im not a person to create an argument in public, so I put on an okay face as she explained that next time I should just have them keep it in one piece. Needless to say there wont be a next time. I wont be a business patron where employees dont treat their human customers like humans nor where employees have the agency to do the right or logical thing when it comes to how they treat their customers.

Holiday sale items were incredible....I love the deals and this store changes seasons and sections seamlessly! Even with icky weather I was inspired by the spring goodies and outdoor furniture that have started to arrive!

A place to go for your crafts and hobbies that has a decent chance of having stuff that Jo-Anns or Michaels doesnt. By the fact it dabbles in many different fields, dont be surprised at a more limited selection compared to a store dedicated to just one hobby/craft.
