This place has some of the best croissants I have ever had! I always look foward to stopping by whenever I am in the downtown area.My go-to has always been the salted caramel croissant. It is insanely delicious and so luxurious! Initially you would probably think that it is really sweet because of the scent of caramel, but in reality it is perfect. The hint of salt after you bite into it is also heavenly. I also have to add that it is also buttery and luscious on the inside. It really is such a well executed pastry, and it has always been my favorite item that they usually always have.Back in November of 202, I had the opportunity to try their Thanksgiving croissant. Ive never seen it before so I was excited to try it. Let me tell you, this one was even better than the salted caramel croissant. After I quicklt finished it, we actually went back to see if they had more, but sadly they ran out! Anyways, the Thanksgiving croissant was just so good. I mean, the turkey, stuffing, and gravy all in one bite, backed up by the soft and buttery croissant, just was unbelievable! I was told there was cranberry sauce inside as well, but I actually never saw or tasted any cranberries. That didnt matter at all though because is was so good.We also get the chocolate croissants and the plain butter croissants just to have the next day. Those are also amazing! They sure are flakey, and super buttery! The chocolate is pretty rich and luscious too. Just very solid croissants, and whenever they dont have the salted caramel, my next go-to is the chocolate croissant, and it is still amazing!Ive alwags been interested in their other desserts and pastries as well, but we always fund ourselves getting a bunch of croissants. Hopefully one day I can try some of their other delicious looking pastries!
The staff are always lovely at this coffeehouse, this is my go-to coffee shop for latte/matcha and also packaged coffee beans for home. They have a vegan muffin that is delicious! Last time I went was with a friend and we had a really nice time. The only thing missing that would make this place perfect is if they had more vegan options.
Sampled a couple of the pastries and they were pretty good. Glad to have found a coffee shop that allows seating which is rare these days.
We came from NYC to Seattle and stumbled upon this place on our early morning walks. I can tell you, there’s nothing better than walking and finding home… home in the friendliness of this establishment and the taste of delicious treats, with hot coffee, it makes your day! We had the Vietnamese coffee which was divine and I had the monkey tail and my one had Havarti cheese pastry. We sat amongst the pictures, plants and open space. The man behind the counter was warm, friendly and I dug his attentiveness. I will get his name. It was just delightfulIt stayed with us so much we are going back! Thank you… I found my coffee home
Chill vibes, lots of seating spread out. Came in almost at close so they were sold out of most of their goodies. Definitely a sign of a good bakery so I plan to come back. Tried the last almond tea cookie and a crunchy eco cookie. Both pretty good, textures def on point. I’m taking the rest home to dip in some milk. I’m thinking it will take it to the next level. Their cakes look amazing but I already had dessert so had to pass…and just get two MINI cookies 🍪
After an 18 minute wait in line, we ordered three items listed on their menu and they were out of two of them. They basically had nothing left to serve for breakfast and weren’t selling lunch yet.Beautiful place, nice employees, but you can’t actually order food by mid morning.
Items sell out on the weekend, but we still managed to get a good muffin and a great drink
Good vibes, good food, yummy coffee. A great place to spend a Saturday morning studying or reading! Their quiche is yummy too, nice and fluffy.
A bit disappointing. I’m surprised by the location how unimpressive it was. It felt like a coffee shop you’d find on a college campus. The worker had his backpack and coat strewn over a chair, there was a deflated balloon and dead plant, just over unkempt space. I’m sure it’s a different vibe in non-pandemic times, but I don’t plan on being back at least for the time being. The drip coffee was not great and they were out of several items even in the morning. The breakfast sandwich was fine but again not anything to write home about. There’s plenty other coffee shops and bakeries around the area I’d recommend before this spot.
My favorite coffee shop when we are in Seattle Center area and are looking for a place to relax. They have lots of seating, good work and great pastries. Unfortunately they run out too quickly.
This place makes awesome coffee, and has *awesome* pastries. The Havarti Croissant is TO DIE FOR and the Vietnamese iced coffee is startlingly good. Get there early before theyre sold out of the pastries you want. The line is sometimes long, but its worth the wait, so be kind to the staff.
I have four words for you: sea salt caramel croissant. The coffee is good, but the pastries are excellent. The idea of making a salty caramel croissant is innovative and turns out delicious, have it warmed to make the experience even better. The coffee itself was good, and it was served with a small glass of sparkling water and a sweet treat. In fact, if youre like me and just need a small sweet with your coffee then I would just go for the coffee alone.
Upscale bakery with some nice menu selection. Reasonable seating space both inside and out. Close to International fountain to be able to carry stuff from. Kid friendly!
One of the best coffees I had in Seattle! Nice and quiet to bring your laptop and do your things 😊👌🏻
The coffee, the cake, the service is amazing! the one who served us is really nice too. I really recommend this place to anyone who sees this.
Coffee was great! The barista Al recommended the Vietnamese coffee and it was an interesting, tasty experience. Also Al was getting out drinks in good time, friendly too!
I was visiting Seattle and was craving local pastries and coffee. This place was a very bad choice. By 10:30 they were out of most pastries so I had to get at least a macaroon because I was very hungry. In additional, I had to wait 25 for minutes for my latte but when it was ready they made an iced one instead of a hot one that I ordered. We walked out and went to the park nearby. Well, I should’ve tried my coffee before we left the place, it was lukewarm and tasted absolutely horrible. The macaroon was hard as rock so I had to throw both, the macaroon and my large latte away. Such a waste of time and money.
Open early which is convenient. Amazing pastries, cookies, and coffee. Batista was very friendly.
Their cold brew was so smooth and delicious. The ambience was great to sit and work.
Matcha tea was alright. Had the veggie breakfast sammie and it’s basically something you get from Starbucks straight out of the microwave. Definitely overpriced
Cute little bakery with great coffee and ambiance! They even drew in the foam!
Wonderful early morning stop for a quick bite and pick-me-up!
Great place to get a coffee, scone, and work from “home”. They definitely need 2 people working, not just 1, as the line gets pretty long (steady line from 8:30-10:30).They also have plants for sale but often times they end up dying which is pretty sad. :(Would still come back! Just be sure you’re not in a rush.
Great location and great food/drinks. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
There was 1 man working by himself on a Sunday. My friends and I waited in line for over 20 minutes before we were helped. As a tourist in Seattle, Im not sure the wait was worth it.
Cappuccino had way too much milk (as much as latte) and the matcha tea latte was really really sweet. very disappointing
Update: After checking on three coffee shops, this place opens the latest with the snowy weather outside. I recommend their matcha. Pretty and delicious!Great environment and good service. It right around the corner from the Key Arena. I wouldn’t recommend the tonic and nitro coffee but maybe something else. It was my cup of coffee. They have a charging area for phones and I find that really nice.
Definitely want to come back when Im in the neighborhood 😊
This place is such a gem, I love their baked goods, especially their Nanaimo bars.
Nice if expensive bakery and cafe, had a decent selection of pastries and other treats, got a Moroccan fog tea 8 oz for 4$
Awesome coffee shop with a lot tasty treats to choose from. Gideon - the barista who helped me was friendly and welcoming. I got an iced americano and the coffee was delicious. I believe that the takeaway cup and straw were compostable, which is impressive.Highly recommend this spot, thank you again for your wonderful customer service. I will be returning ☺️
$13 for a breakfast sandwich that was pre-built and heated in a microwave + a bottle of orange juice. Not going back.
Loved the treats ❤️ thank you for the great service
Cute cafe with friendly service. Get the matcha green tea latte, iced coffee, cinnamon brioche (omg), or any of the sandwiches!
The drinks are good and when I checked, they had some discounts on Yelp so check that! I made two orders during my time there, both with different baristas and to be honest, they werent really friendly. It wasnt very busy either so that was a but disappointing. Lots of room to sit and lots of outlets everywhere! It is a bit chilly inside however but on warm days, its very refreshing. Good place to study though!
I am a crepe cake lover. Recently I am searching any cafes at Downtown Seattle serving crepe cake. I found them. They have two branches, locate at First Hill and Queen Ann. However, Tiramisu crepe cake is only available at Queen Ann branch, not First Hill one where is closer to my home. The environment in Queen Anne is better than First Hill one(bigger and brighter). Unfortunately, their crepe cake was not my taste. It was pretty strong favour of Tiramisu and quite big size BUT each crepes were not thin enough(actually quite thick=[). I did not want to say that, but it was the worst crepe cake so far I had in Seattle. At the same time I ordered meat and potato quiche (it was crustless quiche so tasted like mix vegetable, sausage omelette). I always like egg dish so I love it.I still recommend this cafe because of gd quiche and relax environment(just remember to save $9 of ordering crepe cake, if you are thinking their crepe cake may have LadyM’s standard 😂).
The caprese sandwich at this cafe is my favorite of any other place I have gone to. The coffee is always very nice as well and their other pastries are really good.
Chill atmosphere with plants, very clean and the staff was super friendly. Non dairy alternatives and all the pastries you can think of! They even had a vegan muffin I could not resist!
Had no selection of pastries at 11am and got my order wrong. Service is very slow
Great coffee, better than Starbucks @
The best salted caramel croissant!
Visited back in June during a vacation and Im still craving another croissant. Regret not buying more while I was there.
Very trendy little bakery just opposite Seattle Centre. The chai tea latte is one of the best Ive had in Seattle, and their coronation chicken croissant is delicious! They have plug points so its a great place to casually work from. They also have a small outdoor area in the front with great views of the Space Needle.
Declicious warm monkey bread.
Clean and modern indoors, nice looking pastry options & patio seating.
This was a lucky find when we were out walking around the Seattle Center after getting a COVID test. The batista did an excellent job at chai latte and the flat white we ordered. We also purchased some macaroons that were outstanding.
My favorite go-to coffee shop around SLU when I just want to relax and do some work on my laptop, read a book, or just catch up with friends. Their pastries are also super delicious and has not disappointed. I have yet to gone through all of the pastries on the list but Im getting close!Staff members are also very friendly and patient (I can get very indecisive about what to order with my coffee). Definitely must give this place a visit if youre in the Seattle area touring the space needle, or simply looking for the next best place to relax.
Fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff
Always got delicious cake from here. I would recommend no flour chocolate cake.By the way, I ordered tiramisu crape cake once but doesnt have any flavor, Im not sure if they forgot to put the sauce for me or not.
Great vibe and even better food and coffee. Staff was very friendly.
The lemon 🍋cake was awesome!
Overrun by maskless construction kids
Really good customer service and amazing latte and snacks
Used to be good.
