The store is well supplied, the staff is great, knowledgeable & helpful with a purchase they may not have it in inventory but theyll tell you where you can get it even from another business. Prices are competitive.

Docked one star for not having simple plastic bags - most of us live in the area and so I had to walk back home holding a broomstick and a plunger without a bag. I would have been OK with paying extra for a bag. Paper, plastic, whatever.Second star docked for not offering price matches to Amazon for the exact same product. This would have been understandable if it was a different product but the exact same model?! Sure.

Ive been having a hard time figuring out how to install a window AC unit with brackets on my particular type of window and they were super helpful! Even drew a diagram and everything. :) They showed me exactly what I needed to buy and do to finish my project.10/10 would recommend visiting and and getting help with any home improvement project!

I came into the store today to try and find a set of mounting brackets for my heavier curtain rod. The person helping me today went above and beyond to McGyver me a solution, as they did not have the type brackets I needed. Incredibly polite and helpful. Every time I go I feel like I’m overpaying, but am usually in a time crunch so don’t have time to bargain shop elsewhere. Regularly out of stock of basics as well. 4th time here and staff was unhelpful with an inquiry. Will be looking for other hardware stores in the area.

This is an excellent neighborhood hardware store. I restore and maintain gardens, build patios and walkways, as well as deep clean homes and businesses. Everything I’ve needed, they’ve had or gotten for me within a couple days. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I’m so happy to have them just a few blocks away.

Tucked into the highly expensive retail sector known as the Pike/Pine corridor at 12th Ave on Capitol Hill, Pacific Supply has understandable pricing on most items, and fantastically CHEAP and convenient pricing on the rest. The shelves are stocked tight, with products practically tripping over each other to get into your bag. This hardware has an amazing selection of nuts, bolts, vacuum fittings, things that go in your car, things that go in your lamp, things that go in your wall, things that go on your wall, massive array of all things plumbing, a good paint selection, enough hand tools to get yourself in a little trouble, and some odds and ends. The only thing lacking for a true hardware store is that there are practically no power tools, and that somewhat limits the trouble one can get up to after shopping here. But, there is a soda machine. They also cut keys, and have an overall bias toward things an apartment manager might buy. It is worth familiarizing yourself with this store if you live nearby. Most of the time, it has what you need, and it usually even has what you want.

They are pretty much a store for landlords on Capitol Hill. Chances are they wont have what you need if youre doing a project, but they dont have to carry everything for everyone. its fine.

Theyre always helpful to me and willing to answer questions. They also have useful advice on various projects.

Love his place. Just call and they can order anything! I use their website to find what they can order, then you just call and give them the item number and it comes on Tuesday! So nice and easy and local. And a free calendar! Around the new year at least. :) The store has good essentials in stock and the staff is great. So grateful they are here.

Has a lot of hardware stuff but not everything you need. The price is high on something and fare on something and might find one or two items that is price lower than some places.It is a neighborhood shop that you can set up an account with if you own your own business and the employees are respectful for the most part. And they do try to help you if you have any questions.

Pacific Supply has been my go-to for the past several years. They are helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and have even occasionally recommended not buying a product I came in to buy. And now thanks to both having an obscure spring and their know-how, my mortise locks are working better than ever!I also felt very safe on this most recent visit, with masks, plastic dividers, and tape denoting 6 distances.

I am a apartment manager & use Pacific Supply often. Having an acct makes purchases easy & practical for records. As usual they were quite pleasant & helpful. The clerk even asked specifically about the light bulbs I was purchasing which saved me having to make a return. If he had not pointed out a feature about the bulbs I had brought to the counter I would have got the wrong lights. His asking if that was specifically what I wanted saved me from making a stupid mistake that would have been a hassle. Always happy with the service & knowledge of the employees.

We go to Pacific Supply for all of our hardware needs. They a small, independently owned business that has been in Capitol Hill for decades. The staff are always friendly and helpful if you have questions. That have a huge supply of tools, nuts and bolts, paint, bathroom products, cleaning supplies, and anything else you need for home projects.

One of my new favorite places. Clean, organized & not packed ceiling to floor with merchandise. Staff was friendly, kind and there when you needed them and not when you didnt.

So great to have a local neighborhood hardware store with surprisingly impressive selection of household products, tools, paints and other supplies, and ultra-friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have been in there several times and each time Ive been very proud to support the business... one time I went in and had a young man spend almost 15 minutes to help me find a few screws and bolts that totaled under $2. Im sure it wasnt profitable for them to do that but they care a ton about customer service and I will be going there for all my hardware needs in the future.

The staff is always super-helpful. I had keys made that didnt work in my lock due to requiring a special blank. I went back three times and they always helped me out, regrinding, and lubricating the keys. When it still didnt work they even offered to refund me the money all together.

Nice little hardware store. You wont find stuff you need to build a house, like rolls of insulation or a bunch of dimensional lumber, but if you just need little stuff, they have you covered. By little stuff, I mean, small tools, nails, screws, plumbing stuff, light bulbs, glue, and the like.

For such a tiny little place hidden away on Capitol Hill it really has a lot of everything you would need for basic maintenance. The staff is really helpful, there is a restroom for customers, I havent had to make any trips to a larger department store unless its for something really big like lumber or making a purchase of something with a ton of variety that I needed that day.

More a hardware toy store, serves the local neiborhood well. Not practical for a contractor or for doing plumbing or electrical repair, basic supplies are very expensive. The have fun and some unique supplies for apartment decor.
