Definitely got the best massage Ive ever had here. I consistently deal with muscular soreness as a result of my job, in addition to pain from arthritis in both knees. When I left after my session with Melissa, I was relaxed and less sore than Ive been in a LONG time. I slept better the following night than I have in nearly a year, as well as feeling better the next day than I have in a long time. Not only will I definitely be back, Ive already booked my next appointment!

Small, not spa space—these therapists are true healers with decades of experience to create a personalized treatment for you, your preferences, and your needs. Don’t get me wrong—it’s a relaxing space—but the focus is definitely on each client and the body work to promote your well-being and ease pain. Been a client for about eleven (!?) years, and many of the therapists have been there for the entirety. They’re thoughtful, committed, and collaborative in your care. Highly recommended.

What an amazing find. This place oozes relaxation. From the welcoming whisper as your therapist greets you at the door, to booking your next appointment with ease. Everything smells amazing, it’s cozy, warm, comfortable. Tucked in a leafy corner behind the bustle of Broadway, this place really is a sanctuary. I always feel a bit unnerved being naked in front of a new massage therapist, especially when he’s a dude, but Kyle was really professional. Clinical yet warm is how I would describe the experience. He put me at ease right away, asking questions about my problem areas and pressure preferences. During the massage he checked in periodically without being overly chatty and offered me some choices about how to proceed— Work on the arms or return to the neck? Spend more time on the upper body or move to the legs and feet? Oddly, I don’t think I’ve ever been offered choices during a session at other massage places I’ve been to, and it was empowering to get to decide what areas I wanted to focus on based on how my body felt in the moment. Will definitely go back for my next massage!

I highly recommend The Massage Sanctuary, not only for their generous pricing, but for their skilled therapists. I just finished a session with Kay Mathew. What a wonderful experience. Here in rainy Seattle, I suffer from headaches due to pressure. Sometimes these headaches last throughout the week. On this rare, sunny day I decide to go in and relax, and my headache was gone at the start. Kay knows exactly what shes doing. If you tell her lots of pressure, she wont hold back. If you tell her where youre more sensitive, shell be gentle.Loved it. Strongly recommend.

What a delightful experience! I havent been to this facility before but I felt welcomed the moment I stepped in. The price was right for a 30 minute chair massage to get a kink out of my neck. Overall I was very pleased and Sabrina was excellent! Ill definitely be back soon!

After driving across country in a Uhaul for 8 days, I was in much need of a massage, so I booked one with Leo as a result of some reviews, and I have to say it was one of my best massages for getting the aches and pains out in one massage! He did stretching and massage techniques I havent had and I was blown away with how all my tension and pain was gone! If Im ever back in Seattle, I will definitely go see him again!
