Over the last decade, Scott Granlund has repaired clarinets for my husband. Top-notch work. My only feedback for anybody taking your woodwind to Scott to repair is to agree with Scott on a repair completion date so there is no confusion, especially with COVID making it so tough for Scott - he had to move his business.
Scott was great! I was looking for a shakedown on a clarinet I bought online. He got me all fixed at a reasonable price and quick turn around time. I would highly recommend and use his service again.
Scott is does amazing work! I’m a touring musician and was in Seattle for a week. My English horn needed a fix in the mechanism and Scott gloriously fixed it 2 hours before my show. Thank you Scott!
Amazing work on my Selmer clarinet - I hadnt realized how bad it had gotten until he returned it to me tenfold times better!
Scott, a very mellow and personable fellow, did an excellent overhaul of my vintage Buescher alto sax. His work seems to result in a miraculous improvement of the ease with which I can wrest something like music (it wasnt me, it was the leaky #@&!) out of a horn. Makes me want to practice more, not a small accomplishment!
I play saxophone and kb for the Motels. Scott works on my alto and tenor saxes and is professional, knowledgeable and has all the tools and experience to diagnose and repair my horns on the spot. Highly recommended
Quick work, very friendly, fair pricing
Scott Granlund is an exceptionally gifted repairman. Having lived and played in New York City and had some of NYCs finest work on my instruments, without reservation I can say that Mr. Granlund is easily the equal of anyone whose services I used. And better than some that I encountered, who were actually very good, but not in the same league as Scott. And not only is he a great repair person, he is also an excellent musician. My highest recommendation!
Hole in the wall shop, but Scott has been fixing woodwinds for 26 years. H knows what hes doing.
I play sax for Urban Jellyfish and Letters From Traffic and Scott has tuned up my Yanigasawa Alto brought a used Keilwerth Tenor back to life and is currently working on raising a Beuscher Bari from the dead for me. Solid work from this shop, appointment only and a chill attitude, I can dig it.
Scotts really good.
