The store was clean and well taken care of like it always is when I go. The seed selection is amazing, if you need to get hand tools for gardening, I strongly you get them here. Ive went through 2 spades and 1 hand rake (bought elsewhere) just this season because our soil is heavy clay. The employees I spoke with were genuinely kind and very helpful in answering my questions. I have used their potting soil, and I wont get it & bird seed anywhere else. If you need to get anything they carry, I strongly suggest going to them first.

Dont shop this store! Terrible Store Manager who would rather be on Facebook or online shopping than run her store. Common practice here to dump Hazardous Waste chemicals into the trash.

Loved it from the moment I pulled into parking lot and saw our American flag flying high! Not only did they have the customary handicap parking in from of store, but they also had spots reserved for VETERANS! What a wonderful idea and made me feel VERY appreciated as a veteran! Naturally, as a disabled female veteran, I utilized that spot. The staff inside was very courteous, respectful, knowledgeable and helpful. I need help deciding proper size of live trap needed to trap a coon and employee took all three sizes traps down off of shelf so I could get better look. After a short discussion I decided on the medium trap. Thanks to her help, I was able to catch, relocate and release a total of four coons!The store itself was clean, well organized, and offered variety of choices in addition to a variety of products. Prices are reasonable for the most part although in my opinion the ladies jeans I looked at were a bit too priced for my budget. On positive note tho, they did have a more than reasonably priced clearance area. Overall, from the moment I pulled into the parking lot at Orscheln Farm & home in Sedalia, MO until I left the premises, I had a wonderful shopping experience. Therefore, they get a 5 star rating from me and Ill definitely be returning!

Never been in there before. We were walking through the store and saw a dolly for 40.00 and has 600lb. Capacity. Just really simple and priced right. I think spare tires should be kept by them though, just in case.

This was an amazing experience for my brother and myself! Hes from Arizona and this was a new experience for him. They have such a wide range of selection to pick from its unbelievable! They even carry things I hadnt seen before...we will definitely be back to venture through this awesome store! The staff is so friendly and professional and willing to help you in any way they can.

Solid enough to get me what I needed. The floor associate prescense was strong, but they left a lone cashier to deal with the line. I saw two associates slither by the middle aisles without once glancing at the front. At the same time the cashier was quickly and socially dealing with the line as she was struggling to communicate with a hard of hearing elderly gentleman. She deftly navigated both customers ready to purchase and the man that couldnt hear her telling him she had the info he seeked in her book by the register. He kept waiting for an associate to meet him. Pay closer attention to your cashier. They close the sales for you.

They have what I need. I did not like standing at the checkout counter in the middle of checking out with money in my hand and listen to the clerk answer a business phone call where someone was inquiring about an item. It was rude. I should have had my checkout completed before being put second.

This store used to be great but they have had a high employee and manager turnover within the past year or so. Current staff act like they dont give a flying flitter! The cashier I encountered this visit (Kaitlynn) was snarky and rude, and other employees dont even try to find out if they carry what youre looking for! I called ahead to see if they carried a specific tire size, and was told no; however, when I went in less than 10 minutes later, I found SIX of the size I needed with no problem. PITIFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Definitely not a credit to the Orschelns name. Ill check ANYWHERE but here before I give them more business!!
