Our experience is vastly different than most of the other customers. We do observe than they charge good price for simple merchandise and pay the artists cheaply. They operate for profit, not really for the benefits of our Native Americans.

Big selection of Native American arts and crafts; wide range of inexpensive “touristy” souvenirs, but also quality handmade, authentic collection pieces, and everything in between. The staff is very knowledgeable and gave us a tour of all the pieces and explained the history and process of making each item, which was very interesting. Gorgeous, intricate pieces with a beautiful history. Highly recommend!!

BEST BEST place in Sedona! This is not a tourist trap with the same stuff as every other store, Kachina house is absolutely authentic! Toby was amazing, so helpful and friendly and incredibly knowledgeable! They have so much to offer and everything that is authentic is tagged saying who made it. Its also very reasonably priced, not the insane mark ups you get from a gallery on main st. If you want to be immersed in Native American culture this is a must visit!

Beautiful and unique products, terribly unresponsive and rude customer service.I placed an order at the end of May and assumed the order had shipped. Two weeks later, I still hadnt received anything so I wrote to check in.THEN they told me I had to pay an extra shipping fee for Europe. I Paid the PayPal request the same day, and responded to their email letting them know the bill was paid, and waited another week. Still nothing.I wrote to them and they argued that I had not paid the extra shipping cost. I asked them to check their PayPal account because I had paid. They didnt respond until I literally forwarded my message confirming the bill had been paid, the PayPal payment confirmation email, and a screenshot of my Paypal transaction history showing it had been paid.At that point somebody else took over, apologised profusely, and the order arrived within a week. The items are as photographed and very well-made so I left the two stars. The metal connectors are also a but rusty, so I dont think they are being well taken care of. It goes well with the colour of the item so Im ok with it.I dont know who Toby is on your team, but they were rude and unprofessional. It is not my job to chase after my parcel and to check in every week for a month to receive a small order.

I wanted a snake dancer Kachina doll for some redecorating that I was doing. I called Kachina House, they helped me walk through ordering this online because of some questions I had about color selection. Not only did they answer those questions so that I could order, I was so surprised when the doll that I ordered arrived at my house the next day in spite of it being right before the Holidays. That is top-notch customer service! Im very happy with my purchase and can recommend this business very highly.

Stopped here because I had a feeling there was better pottery out there than what your average gift stores have. The owners are lovely, and they are true academics. They have so much information about every item. This was an interesting store, almost as if it were a museum as well- a very authentic experience. I got the feeling that every piece was thoughtfully selected to be there- and very high quality. We have discovered this place through internet research, and were curious about their shop as it claims to have hold various clay pots and other different items related to the indigenous Native American culture. When we arrived, we were greeted by miss Toby, who took it upon herself to show us around and further teach us about the culture and history behind each type of item. Her in depth knowledge resulted in more appreciation towards the details of each piece of art. The brief education that we have received was authentic in itself. We purchased two clay pots and one small bear, and even left with a couple of cards that give a brief explanation on how a certain pot or figurine was made. Overall, we are grateful for the kind and genuine gestures of miss Toby and miss Judy, and this shop has gifted us with one of a kind souvenirs in remembrance of our trip!

Kachina house contains a prodigious amount of Native American artifacts far beyond what the exterior of the building would suggest is possible. Before we came to Kachina house, we stopped at the Trading Post on the way to the Grand Canyon, which we were told was THE place to go for authentic Native American stuff in the country by our tour guide. The Trading Post had a few shelves of authentically made items and a lot of Chinese and Mexican items. Kachina House had more authentic items on ONE WALL than the Trading Post and ZERO imports from China or Mexico. As if that werent enough, the prices at Kachina house are much more reasonable and if you stay at The Views Bed and Breakfast, youll get a 20% discount. If you are looking for authentic Native American artifacts and want A LOT of selection, you will not be disappointed! We are so glad we went!

Hats off to the artist as well great thanks to the seller. 2 online purchases that were hassle free delivery for each was super quick. I highly recommend Kachina House and most definitly praise the artist Jonah Thompson. Dont misunderstand me; these flutes are a work art in how well they play. I have many flutes from many makers. These are better than many I paid much more for. So again price quality and customer service make Kachina House a place I will return to many times, I am sure!

Very helpful and informative owner took the time to explain as much as you wanted to hear about the styles,, including which are 100% hand crafted and which are slip molded then hand etched/painted. We had a great experience working with the ladies at the Kachina House. I read several reviews before going out to Sedona and this location lived up to the expectations. There are many shops on the main road going through town, very souvenirish and cheap, this shop is not, you have to look for it but once there it is very much worth the visit. They will show you the authentic works and the knock-offs. Once we made a purchase they insisted that we have our purchase shipped home as not to break it while traveling. We will stop back here again if we get back to Sedona.

Sooo I made an online purchase and the grand total was stated with $0 shipping. Granted, they did state that shipping would be billed separately, but I figured that the amount would at least be stated in the grand total, so that there would be no surprise charges. The next day there is a $9 shipping charge that was not even stated in the grand total.. I just dont understand why they would not inform you of the shipping price before you place your order... Not cool. The item I bought is tiny and weighs no more than an ounce, so again I dont understand why shipping would be that expensive. Dissatisfied and wouldnt shop here again.
