I visited this place years ago and still continue to purchase their tea online. They have a HUGE selection of all types of teas, both affordable and higher priced. If you arent able to visit them in person, definitely check out their online store.

Great place! The proprietors were very helpful and professional, and they really know their tea. They recommended some great teas for me. I highly recommend the Namti Spa blend and the White Mango Pear blend. They also have an online store that ships in the United States, so you can order it from anywhere! High quality products. 10/10.

Owner was not polite but large and great tea selection. Green tea was brewed at 210 instead of suggested 180 for green tea which ended up tasting burnt. Was charged extra for using credit card. There was a dog in the store which is fine, but when we picked up and pet the dog the owner asked us not too... seems like there shouldnt be a dog if the owner would not like dog to be pet.

Ive been a regular at this tea shop for a couple years now. Ive spent a decent amount of money here. I came a month ago to show my boyfriend the tea shop I talk about all the time. No one was in the shop other than the owners and one employee. He and I got some tea and sat at the bar and were talking quietly (we were very close to each other of course) and every here and there sneaking in a kiss. One of the shop owners, the woman, kept staring at us. If we were behaving inappropriately that would be one thing, but sitting close together, talking quietly to each other and kissing sometimes is by no means outlandish behavior. She ended up coming over to stand next to us and (not saying anything) just smiling. This was clearly intended to make us uncomfortable. Since she was standing there, I tried to talk to her and she said nothing... just continued to smile at us (at this point it was just plain creepy). Some people walked in and she went to attend to them and then came back behind the counter and stared at us some more. I was fixing my boyfriends beanie, when she turned to us and out loud said guys come on.... Once again, nothing about what we were doing was inappropriate, but if you have a problem and you want to keep loyal customers, at least come and quietly tell us, dont announce it to the whole shop. Very disappointed and Im seeing Im not the only one that has a problem with the owners behavior. While I can say they have a good tea selection, you couldnt pay me to step back into that shop.

It was wonderful! Christi is so knowledgeable like the other reviewers have comment. I came in 15 minutes before closing and she will served me and made me feel like she had all the time in the world.

I stopped in for a cup of tea to go and was so happy I did! Tea was delicious, and the owners were so friendly. I wish I had bought some dry to take home with me. I’ll definitely be checking out their shop online.

Nice selection of tea. Prices are pretty high. They dont steep teas to the correct temperature. I ordered green which should be max 175F degrees. The only water they have comes out at 190F, which burned the Dragonwell tea I ordered.

My Fiancee loves their devils bridge green jasmine, and we buy online when we cannot visit in person (which is unfortunately most of the time) . Luckily we were in Sedona last weekend for a day and stopped in again. This visit we were there when they werent swamped so got to have some conversation and got direction for possible new flavors. We left with a different coconut one we have had previously, as well as a new variety (white tea) and a sample we tried there hot (she made is a quick cup to try) and liked. Very pleasant staff and helpful direction, and SOOOOO many selections. Thanks AGAIN !!!!!!

Came in here as a repeat customer with my small dog (who usually plays with the owners’) while we browse. The lady in the shop pointed to a small puddle of urine on a shelf and told me my dog had an accident and to clean it up immediately. I had no problem with this and profusely apologized until it turned out to be HER dog who urinated - so I was on the floor wiping up her dog’s urine with paper towels and she was swearing and told me to get out immediately - UNBELIEVABLE!! The shop owner apologized after but her reaction was insane and COMPLETELY inappropriate. We will never be coming back here again!

I am a tea addict and Trailhead Tea had so many amazing options to pick from. The owners had a vast knowledge of all the teas. I went with “Out Family Blends”. Reasonable prices.

I went in looking for a specific loose tea that I had not found in several stores over many years.I wound up with a fascinating conversation about tea from growth and harvest to preparation for shipping and how to brew it for different results. Wonderful selection of teas including some premium green and oolong. The tea service was phenomenal, offering a second brewing of the green tea they had recommended. The recommendation was superb, and I would trust their recommendations on any tea in the future. They also had a good selection of rooibos and herbal teas.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They found the best tasting decaf strawberry green tea for me. It is decaffeinated without chemicals. I also like the green strawberry roibus tea.

One of the most amazing tea stores I have ever been to. I am from Vancouver, and I walked away with the biggest bag of English Breakfast I could buy. I drink English Breakfast tea every morning, and this is by far my favourite one. The tea tastings were great, and I learned so much from Eileen.

Amazing owners. We came back three times during our stay in Sedona to just sit at the bar and have a cup of amazing tea. Friendly staff and the owners are usually there, who are very personable and a joy to talk to.

We love Trailhead Tea. Since neither my wife nor I can have caffeine we love their selection of herbal and roibos teas. We especially like the roibos vanilla chai and the courthouse creamsicle. Sugarloaf Trail is also great, nice thing about it is that after brewing a cup you can put the solids on your oatmeal since its basically just trail mix.

This place has been a highlight of our Sedona trip two years in a row now. The staff spend so much time and effort on you to provide a beyond excellent personal experience. Not mention the tea they sell is a good grade and quality. You can smell every tea and all their teas are available to be brewed for a cup as well. I would 100% recommend this place even if you slightly like tea (:

I absolutely loved visiting this shop! The husband and wife owners are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their teas! My friend and I came in and received a tea tasting which is free if you purchase tea. My friend is incredibly sensitive to caffeine and the owners took their time to listen to her concern and then recommend a wide range of caffeine free/herbal teas that she could try out and purchase. In addition, we were greeted by the best tea master, Paocha, their adorable and friendly Lhasa Apso. I would highly recommend stopping by if youre in the area! Its not to be missed!

The tea here is amazing and Christi taught us so much there! I will say though when we first walked in Dan, who was on his phone the whole time was so rude. He made us feel like we were interrupting him. His tone was rude and honestly if it wasn’t for Christi coming out and taking over we would have walked out and purchased nothing, he was that rude. He never even took his eyes off his phone when we was talking to us. I don’t know why you would want to treat your customers that way. I would say the tea is amazing the customer service needs some work. Thank you Christi for all your help and knowledge, you made up for the initial vibe when we walked in!

Ive been here about a dozen times and have never had anything less than a stellar experience. The tea is fantastic and the people are friendly and knowledgeable. I come here every time I find myself in Sedona and always look forward to it.

The woman working here was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Totally made the experience great (and the sunset view by the fountain is A+). Avoid the balding heavyset gentleman with the beard, however. He seems to have a lot of pent up rage.

Well worth the stop. We came in expecting a place with a few teas in boxes and were quite surprised by the layout of the place and the great selection of teas. The tea is lined up all around the walls and you can smell any of them in a tour de fragrance. Its like smelling memories. When you find one or two you like they can make them hot or cold for you right there or you can take it home in nice ziplock pouches. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Its a couple that runs this place, so they know their tea and procured them from all around the world. Great alternative to the typical coffee shops around today.

We LOVE this place! We live in town and stop in frequently for a delightful sensory experience. Eileen and Dan, the owners, are friendly and knowledgeable with a contagious passion for their craft. Unique blends done in-house, named after popular local destinations, add to the experience. A creekside location, walking distance to many shops and restaurants make it a perfect spot for visitors and locals alike. Awesome teas and blends for tea connoisseurs or just tea lovers. My favorites are the Palatki Vanilla Herbal, a rooibos based tea, and Flower of Asia, an out-of-this-world flowery fruit blend. Pop in for a cup to go or sit at the bar and enjoy the company of a super-fun and helpful crew.
