Terrible customer service, worst GNC I have ever been too. Been a long time customer of this company and have dealt with such incompetent management. Guy is on his cellphone the whole time while i’m in the store and when u ask for help he tells me to hold on. After 5 minutes of waiting he tells the two pre workouts i’m buying are the same any i would either meanwhile one is 200mg of caffeine the other is 300+ not to mention the citrulline dosages are completely absent in one of them well. I purchase the weaker dosed per workout and when i come to exchange for the stronger one he tells me he doesn’t do that. Meanwhile it’s company policy and on the back of the receipt. Smh never coming here again. Vitamin Shoppe in stony brook is much more knowledgeable and cheaper.
Worst GNC Ive been to. After the one in smithhaven mall closed, I decided to go here. Worst mistake Ive made. He knew nothing about the products and could care less about what I bought. GNC please bring back your Smithhaven Mall location. Everytime I went there the people you had were knowledgeable and informed me on which products are best for me and my workouts. Ive been a long time GNC fan, however after how bad the experience was at this location Im doubting whether I should come back. I usually never write reviews, but with the experience Ive had here, it was much needed.
Guy wouldn’t let people into the store which I would understand with COVID-19 but you never have more than 2 people in a store. So I ask him if they have WOKE AF. He looks at a picture of it and tells me no, but I can see it on selves. Tells me again they don’t and tries to sell me C-4 -_- I ask to speak to store owner, tell me he doesn’t have one and he is all that’s there. So you hire on a guy to watch over the place and try to sell product, doesn’t know what product you have, and is rude AF? Lmao never buying GNC again.
Guy claimed i had to be 27 to buy creatine which is complete bs, went to another location and sold it to me no questions asked, also could not show me valid proof that i had to be 27, claimed he could not complete the transaction becuase of a notice on his screen, but when i asked him to show me he couldnt or wouldnt, would definitley not reccomend this location.
Very rude customer service. I called at 730 to see what time they closed he told me 8 and asked me how far away I was, I responded about 5 mins away. He then proceeds to tell me to hurry up because he wants to close. Not the way to make a good first impression. Would give no stars if I could.
