My uncle referred me to Ernesto. I was assisted by both Ernesto and Christina. The first time I went Ernesto showed me different vehicles and was very informative on what features the vehicles had. I test drove a few different vehicles, but was still searching. Ernesto stayed in touch and I decided to come back in. He was going to be off, so he referred my to Christina. Christina was patient with me as I was looking at several different vehicles. I found the one I wanted and Christina was helpful was from the beginning to the end of the car buying process. On July 10th, I took my vehicle into Mission Mitsubishi for routine maintenance and an alignment. While there, I was told that i was also due for a tire rotation which would also include a balancing of the tires. After this appointment, I noticed that my vehicle was not only off balance, but the vibration was worse than before the alignment, plus the vehicle was swerving. I made an appointment a few days later because the swerving was getting worse. Elo, the manager that day test drove the vehicle and told me they were going to do some minor adjustments and that my car was always swerving a little. I told him I never noticed this before and he said i probably had just gotten use to it. To me, that answer didnt sit well, but Im thinking that hes the expert. So I continued to drive it. This past Tuesday (3 weeks after I took the vehicle back to Mission,) I noticed a grinding and clicking sound in my vehicle. I made an appointment to see them again this Friday, but decided that this Friday was too far off. Plus I really didnt have any faith in them to correct the problem which they couldnt seem to diagnose. So I, instead made an appointment with Gillman Mitsubishi off I-35 for that afternoon.Jay From Gillman took the car for a test drive and when he returned, I watched him and another Gillman employee checking my tires. Turns out that my passenger side rear tire had a huge bubble in it that was about to explode. Jay told me that when he made a right turn onto I-35, the car swerved so drastically that he made it no farther than half a block before pulling over. The vehicle was that uncontrollable. They took the car back to inspect further. During the inspection, they took video of the tire while spinning and I could see how badly the tire was wobbling for myself. Not only side to side wobbling but up and down as well. It was one of the weirdest things Id ever seen.So I have no idea why Mission could not see the damaged tire during the alignment, rotation and balance. And I really feel awful about being told my vehicle always swayed a little but I just never noticed.Now, I have a new, drivers side rear tire and there is no more swerving, bouncing or grinding.I still give Mission Mitsubishi 5 stars for their wonderful and courteous staff, but I will be taking my vehicle to Gillman from now on.Jay is amazing!!

Purchased my vehicle last April, it was a nice and easy negotiation, however it’s been 3 months and I haven’t received my starter kit and tire that was promised to be given to me. Every time I call them they keep making excuses that it really takes awhile, but it’s already July! It’s so disappointing.

Today, 11/08/18, I took my vehicle to get an oil change, the other services that are provided are to have the vehicle fluids checked, check the tires, brakes, filters and the vehicle is even put through the new carwash. When Jay Finnegan assists me everything goes smoothly. Yet when Im assisted by Yvette Alva there always seems to be issues. When I bring the issues up, Yvette gives me attitude, a lot of eye rolling and speaks softly so I have to ask her to repeat herself, its as if Yvette is doing this on purpose to annoy me.I voiced issues I had during my last oil change to Jay and asked that I not have the issues again, which is why I scheduled my appointment with Jay to assist me and not Yvette. The past issues were the service sensor still being displayed and needed to be reset, the number that is put on your rear view mirror was still in my vehicle, the paper and plastic that is put in your vehicle so the technician doesnt dirty your seats or steering wheel were still in my vehicle and the items in my glove box were disshuffled.In the end, Yvette called my name and stated okay were done, I found this to not be very professional. When we were going over what was done on my vehicle, I noticed that everything under the section Check Fluid Levels and Fill everything was checked OK, yet I was aware that the window washer and coolant recovery reservoir fluids were not full, my understanding is that everything is to be topped off.I then questioned if the items that were checked OK and anything else that was checked OK were they really checked. I received eye rolling from Yvette and Yvette speaking softly so I couldnt understand what she was saying. When the technician Jacob was on the phone he stated he filled items that needed to be filled, but he just checked OK on the form. Yvette had another technical take my vehicle back to check that everything was checked and filled accordingly, which made my wait time extended. Jay returned and Yvette informed Jay of the issues I was having. Jay assisted me at that point. When I got into my vehicle I noticed the service sticker from my previous oil change was still on my windshield, I went back into the service department and let Jay know that the old service sticker was still on my windshield. Jay informed me that the service stickers are not being put on the windshields unless the machine that resets the sensor is not working. Jay went out to my vehicle and showed me that the service info shows 6000 miles till my next service so a service sticker shouldnt have been put on my windshield. Jay did apologize for the old service sticker being left on my windshield. The only reason I continue to go back to service my vehicle is because of the good customer service I receive from Jay Finnegan.Another item that needs to be addressed is there are no complimentary snacks for the customers waiting to have their vehicle serviced. When the service waiting room was combined with the Honda waiting room there were free complimentary snacks for the customers. Now all you see in the Mitsubishi waiting room is an empty counter, coffee and sometimes tea and a vending machine. When a customer has to wait it would be nice to have complimentary snacks for the customer.

I am always happy with Gillman Mitsubishi service. We bought our 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor new at Gillman in 2011. We have had it serviced there since. We are always happy with Gillman service. They dont try to sell you something that is not needed but let you know what needs attention so you can make an informed decision. Also this may be the best car I have ever owned and I am 72 years old and had a few. This is my wifes car so even though it is 9 years old it still has very low mileage and has been well maintained. Still looks and runs like new. Thank you Gillman Mitsubishi. The entire staff has been courteous. professional and displayed excellent customer service.

I wish I could give more stars! Two weeks after we purchased an outlander the transmission went out. It broke on my sons way back from Houston. We towed it an hour and a half to Gillman knowing that we had not purchase the extended warranty. We ask them to look at it and hope that it would be something easy. Turns out it was a $4000 job. Not only did they fix it and eat the cost… They provided us a loaner car for the nearly 3 weeks that it was in the shop. I can not say enough about the incredible service we receive from Antonio a.k.a. Tony, and his team. The point of this is that they did not have to fix our car because we did not purchase the extended warranty but they did because they stand by their name and their reputation for great customer service.

The salesman, Bailey Webb, is a very young man who seemed a bit shy or intimidated. I dont know if he is new at sales. He was courteous and polite. Just not outgoing at all.Upon completion of purchase, our salesman did not seem too interested in going through the vehicles options, connecting my wifes phone via bluetooth, etc. The weather was a factor. But, my wife and I agree he needs to work on his salesman/social skills. I did know quite a bit about the Outlander through research of my own. Maybe the salesman thought that was enough. As I am someone who has worked with the public, I believe an outgoing salesman will make the customer more at ease, which is always good.The finance manager was very good. He explained the purchase quickly and efficiently. We obtained a great rate.This is our second new vehicle purchase from Gilman Mitsubishi.Gilman prices are better than other local Mitsubishi dealerships. My wife and I will not hesitate to recommend Gilman to anyone interested in purchasing a new vehicle.Our new Outlander LE is so very nice. Rides beautifully. Very quiet. Definitely more pepp than our previous Jeep Compass. Fully loaded, including power passenger seat, third row seating and reclining second row seating which is a nice touch for passengers.Power folding mirrors, protects the mirrors when parked. Heated seats, a great option right now.All sorts of safety equipment. Front crash sensor. Blindspot sensors light up on side mirrors when a vehicle or person is in the blindspot area. Lane departure warning works excellently whenever drifting over the line. Rear view camera.The audio system sounds wonderful. Full bass. Clean and undistorted mids and treble. Both radio listening and streaming via Pandora are most enjoyable.ANDROID AUTO allows use of the large 8-inch screen to display GPS navigation. All these features will definitely make roadtrips more pleasant and safe.This is our second Mitsubishi. I drive a 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage GT, purchased new from Gilman. In 2 1/2 years I have had absolutely no issues whatsoever. I change the oil every 7,500 miles (full synthetic), and thats all. My Mirage runs and looks like new.Dont hesitate to buy a new Mitsubishi from Gilman Mitsubishi.

I arrived to the dealership first, and while I called my bank, they sold the car to someone else without telling me or giving me priority since I got there well before the other client. Omar was the one who did this, he had me waiting in the lobby thinking I would be able to buy the car, all while he was selling it to someone else without letting me know at all.They didnt disclose that the car was bought in an auction and had some aesthetic damage.

Great experience for a unique shopping situation. Sales rep Mr. Guitierrez and finance rep Mr. Jaramillo went above and beyond to help me during my shopping experience. I recently bought a used 2017 subaru through them, and though Im from the local area at the time of shopping I was living in Arizona and in the process of moving for work. I found the car I was interested in reached out and they worked with my parents on my behalf to test drive the vehicle. Then they went above and beyond to help me secure the vehicle sale in order to allow me to pick the vehicle during my week of vacation. The end of 2018 I was looking into trading my suv in. It was my first time at a big dealership and Storm Guevara was helping me out. The only car he could get me into was a 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage which I stated many times It was too small for my family. He was very consists and pressuring me into get the car. The whole time I did the paper work I knew it was a bad decision and I wish I would’ve went with my gut but I let him pressure me into it. It’s now almost two years later and I absolutely hate the car everyday I get in it. It’s way too small and the worst decision I ever made. I called the next day to see if they could help me out and big surprise they couldn’t. I knew I made a bad choice because of Storm Guevara pressuring me. I learned my lesson.

I couldnt possibly be more satisfied and happy than I am right now, having just purchased my first ever new car from Gillman!I drove down from Austin to test drive a 2016 Lancer GT. I was 4 minutes from the dealership when my faithful 03 Lancer completely and unexpectedly died on me! I was terrified - riding into a car dealership in a tow truck wasnt exactly my plan for the day, and I felt I would be at a great disadvantage.As soon as I met Vinny, the sales rep, I felt immensely more comfortable and less stressed. He found the car I wanted quickly, and was very polite and knowledgeable. By the time we sat down at the desk inside, I felt confident and ready to make a deal at Gillman. Vinny and Robert went to great lengths to make me happy, and were honest and friendly throughout the process.I then worked with Mark in finance, which I thought would be the most intimidating step of all. Not so! Mark was patient with my questions and straightforward with his explanations, giving me a much better understanding of the process than even my prior research had provided.Once the money stuff was out of the way, Vinny drove back to my old car with me for a final goodbye. Well, he was correct...2 days later I was presented a lower interest rate, a New...not pre-owned crossover vehicle. The finance manager was also kind. There was no back and forth dealing. IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A CAR...GOOD CREDIT OR IN NEED OF CREDIT ASSISTANCE WITH YOUR PURCHASE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We were looking for a nice, low-mileage used car and decided to go to Gillman San Antonio. I have purchased both new and used cars from Gillman Honda, Mitsubishi, and Subaru over the past 10 years and have always left feeling like I got a fair price. This would be number 6 from Gillman. Went up just before 9 pm one night just to scout the used inventory at Gillman Mitsubishi and met a salesman, Val, who was still at the dealership. Val was very nice and once we told him our price range he showed us some cars that night. Two cars met our requirements so we went ahead and made an appointment with Val for 9 am on the next business day. The car we decided on needed some touch up paint and a new windshield but otherwise was in fantastic shape. Val said Gillman would take care of the windshield and the paint touch ups. Through the entire process Val was very helpful and even hung around while we were doing the paperwork. Overall, another pleasant experience buying a car at Gillman in San Antonio. Val was great and will probably call him when I am ready to buy my next car.

I took my Outlander to Gillman today because my car wouldnt start this morning. The customer service was totally over the top and I couldnt be happier. Jay was friendly and helpful, troubleshooting and researching life and warranty for battery. He quoted me a price for replacement battery that included a prorate discount which I agreed to and they took the car back to service. Service department called back up saying there was nothing wrong with my battery which he nor I believed since it had not started earlier. Jay goes to service department to check for himself and about 15 minutes later here he comes back with my car and saying the test showed no battery problems, just cleaned around cables, checked the engine, reset my maintenance timer and washed my car. Total charge was youre all set, have a good day. They could have taken advantage of me today but they were honest professional and kind. I even proposed to him which he kindly declined, hes married with four kids and a good wife. Jay and his co-workers were truly amazing and Ill never forget my experience at Gillman in Selma Texas. Decided to stop by Gillman Mitsubishi.Saw the car I wanted as we drove onto the new car lot. A 2018 Mirage GT. Walked into dealership a bit skeptical of the outcome. I was well aware I had negative equity.Both Storm and a Finance Officer worked with us to no avail, sadly. Couldnt come to terms on payments. Shook their hands. No hard feelings. The manager, John Brown came to speak with us as we were about to depart. Told us he would call us in an hour or so.Went home. Got the call. Mr Brown was able to get us a great rate. Better than I had ever expected. My wife and I compromised just a little on the payments. Boom....now driving a sharp brand new Mirage GT with all the toys. Very nice car. Really enjoy driving again, even to work! Very happy with Gillman Mitsubishi. Thank you Storm, John and the Finance Managers.Do not hesitate to shop at Gillman Mitsubishi. Be realistic. Remain cordial. Drive home a sweet new ride accompianied by an one of the best warranties in the new car market.

Responded online for a vehicle and Vinny contacted me back. Vinny was very helpful and professional. Never pressured us to buy the vehicle. Went out of his way to ensure there was nothing wrong with the vehicle we wanted to purchase. He even went and spoke with the service team himself to make sure we were happy. Stay away. We found a used car we really liked but it had some undisclosed damage that needed to be repaired, so we asked them to adjust the price. Not only did they refuse, they tried to tell us the price was $1,000 MORE than the advertised price, which we found on multiple sites. We ended up buying an identical car from another dealer with half the mileage for less money. No wonder these guys have so many used cars sitting on the lot collecting dust.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Unprofessional and unreliable . Sold me used vehicle that they said they did an inspection on. 3 weeks and $1600 later. I don’t have a running vehicle and the salesman was rude and incredibly unprofessional when asked if he could assist. I will NEVER do business with any Gillman dealership again. AS IS no warranty for th means, once you pay, you’re on your own, don’t ask us because we don’t care and we don’t take care of our customers.

So, I just walked in the door from purchasing a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage from Valentin Val Panayotov at the Selma Gillman Mitsubishi Establishment. This was not just a car buying experience, it was an epic encounter that, on so many levels, went above and beyond a car purchase.I am a single mom with a son in college. He is five hours away at the University of Texas in Permian Basin and he was driving around in a junker that kept breaking down. I wanted to get him in to a safe vehicle, but I have less than stellar credit. Bottom line, I was scared when I walked in there....I was embarrassed. That feeling lasted for about ten seconds. I was welcomed by everyone in the place, especially by Val. Val went beyond the car sale and created an experience that left me feeling valued and appreciated....I didnt expect it...I didnt even think I deserved it.Not only did Val get me approved, he got me a price I could afford. He also expressed his gratitude towards me for helping my son with his first new car purchase and a leg up on his way to establishing credit...credit that will be much better than mine.There is a segment that gets posted from time to time about the extraordinary people in New York; its called Humans of New York. I would not recommend this place, the sales man was extremely inappropriate, I will choose not to name the sales man, but wow was this a horrible experience. First he gets us hiped about one car, letting us test drive it. He even said below 15 thousand. Then goes for a totally different car, not only was he pushy, but almost trying to make it seem as if we were desperate. Manipulation was a tactic he tried.Then I had an emergency I needed to attend to and he just kept trying to get us to purchase that car, WE DONT WANT IT GUY, all he had to do was go with another one. Oh well his and the dealerships loss, to bad.

I loved my experience with Gillman Mitsubishi, I decided on a vehicle and two days later decided it was not exactly what I wanted. I told my salesman Raul Parra that I was not satisfied and he told me to bring it back and they would find what I wanted. The sales manager Luis Reyes and Raul both worked on getting me what I wanted. That has never happened and I definitely recommend this sales team to anyone looking for a great experience in purchasing your next vehicle.
