There are restrooms..showers..that are working....they have coffee..and products inside...friendly ..lots of parking..under construction...u can still go upstairs for laundry..showers ..restrooms..the new part looks beautiful

Checked in @12pm, was told in an hour to pull in shop. Waited until 4pm for next shift and now its 4:30 hrs and still here waiting on 2 fittings. Only 2 mechanics and they send one on a road call. Need more mechanics here. On a positive note, the girl with the tattoos is gorgeous.(5 Stars)

Very nice updated one-stop-shop. I tried Charleys cheesesteaks. Very good. Pictured is peach lemonade, cheeae fries, and chicken California cheesesteak.

Its under construction from a fire that burned most of the store down a year ago or so. Cleaning staff are wonderful but be careful of the cashiers as some dont have a clue whats going on. Some of the showers are closed because the drain is open to the bottom floor so watch out if they assign you one.Also there is a single mens restroom upstairs but its real small and the staff tell you they dont have one. As said they have no clue half the time. Good for a ten hour break but thats it. They have laundry working but only two washers out of four are operating. Four dryers working. Its basically turned into a very small truck stop with limited shopping in the area of the shop check in.

Theyre open now but they sadly have their showers under construction. Good food tho 👍

Why dont you update your Google to CLOSED??? We drive all this way and the store is being rebuilt. The gas pumps and service station are open but no store to go into and use the bathroom. Its OK to renovate but why dont you update your Google before someone drives 20 miles and has to use the bathroom? Google says in store shopping open.. sure the hell arnt getting my gas money!!!!

The TA is under construction due to a fire..Fuel,Service department, Showers,Drinks & Snacks, Parking is all thats available..Supposed to be fully open around by mid- October..

Gas...didnt go in. Price competitive. Easy in and out with all of the road construction. East of 65. Hard to see when exiting interstate from the south, but easy to get back on. Diesel available. Scale.

Yes this place is under construction but they have a BBQ stand outside. That is one of the best pulled pork sandwich i have ever had. Stop by and get some BBQ

May 4th, 2021. Store limited. Shop is open, no food except for a meat stand outside. Mens restroom up stairs to left as you walk in. 2 stalls. Outside fancy potties are broke. Expect nothing less from TA. Enjoy!2 stars for the large parking area.

In these troubling times of Covid-19 you would think more care and precautions would be taken as to not spread this around anymore. And you wonder why the States is in such a mess. Clean and sanitize your showers properly instead of leaving nasty face coverings hanging around!

This is still one of the better ta is still left along with the Country Pride restaurant..wow its an older one ever since they brought back the buffet the Country Pride restaurant is fantastic consistently good Keith is a great manager is very proactive making sure things get done..while its still a small facility its never been expanded the bathrooms are old but theyre cleaning them a lot more often of course the pigs you know how they are they will never learn these are grown adults that who knows what kind of farm they grew up on...LMAO!!ANYWHOOOO..BACK TO OUR REVIEW AS I WAS SAYING GREAT COUNTRY PRIDE RESTAURANT SEYMOUR INDIANA IS ACTUALLY THE LOCATION OF WHERE 1MR JOHN COUGAR MELLENCAMP IS FROM..there many people be surprised to find out here in little Seymour Indiana that they let you know about it because the hallway that leads upstairs from the main part of the store near the bathrooms going on up yonder to the showers the laundry in the second TV room is adorned with a little tribute to the man!!if youre walking up the stairs you looking notice theres like a sayings and stuff along the wall its the lyrics to small town yes thats right going up the stairwell..theres also some little plaques through the years theyre a lot older they must have been somewhere before but it has the old albums and where they were and created and all that fun stuff but truly need the town of Seymour hear many people dont realize that because they really havent honored John too much..but for those who are in Seymour in want to see it for himself its just a small little memorial its just in a hallway leading upstairs Im going to post all the pictures to it and a whole lot more..one of the best things they did though here too as when they were mild the restaurant that brought the buffet back and they are doing a fantastic job of putting out a Great buffet very good quality fantastic Ive had it a couple of times myself and I dont want the menu food I do enjoy stopping here a lot more on i-65 its a just a good ta .I have paid the 15 bucks to shower here before the showers its an old building so guess what those showers get good and hot.. Ill continue to stop when Im rolling down 65 as I often do between Gary and Louisville. So to Rebecca Smart the district manager keep up the good work hereneed to work on the customer attitudes though up yonder about 70 miles of north of Indy at whitestown though I wont stop there anymore.and yes its review might sound familiar is before because Im also a Yelper;-)

I will never buy tires from ta again.this is the first time I have ever been told that I would have to be put in line and wait over an hour to have them wheels report after buying over $1,000 worth of tires.I have never been told that for a retorque service. I will never buy tires from TA again.

Bring the truck in on Friday they overlook in tell me to bring it back Sunday for the ac tech to install new ac compressor, tech calls me Sunday to bring it in to look at it and they have to order a part that will get in monday. They are playing with peoples time, business and money.

Good place to park. The people are nice, the place is clean(inside and out.) They had a fire in the building so the inside is closed. Shop and fuel is still open though. Decent sized parking lot with a dirty parking lot next door you can park in.

The remodaling puts this TA and service center right in the class of spending the night in a Honeybucket It might be the worst TA I have stopped at in 30 years There open to take your money if that is what you need.

The worst experience ever in the repair shop. I called to request a price on a hub seal replacement on my drive axle. I wasnt sure if it was leaking from the inner or outer. The service writer gave me an estimate of approx. 75$ for the outer and approx 275$ on the inner. I told him I have disc brakes and he told me that there would be an additional cost on the disc brakes and couldnt give me an estimate until they took a look and knew what they were dealing with. The service writer told me he had a very good tech that could do the job that night (1/11/21). Turns out the tech that worked on it that night had never worked on disc brakes on a tractor before (I over-heard him tell another tech in the shop, who I guess was trying to give him some advice) After quite a while when no one was working on the truck, my husband went to find out what was going on with the delay. The tech told him that they were at a stand still because a pin had broken off and they needed another one to try to tap the broken one out and couldnt move forward. About 2 hrs later, I went to the front desk to find out about the delay and a different service writer told me that both the service writer that checked us in and the tech that was working on us went home and it would be 6am the next morning when a different tech would find out what part was needed and finish the job. No one came and advised us we would be there all night. They both just left. The next morning a different tech came in and finished the job. We actually learned through YouTube that the inexperienced tech probably broke the shear when he was trying to take the brake pads out. We also found out through YouTube that a new shear is provided in the kit for the brake pads. (So they already had the part and the inexperienced tech just didnt know it) I verified with the experienced tech that it was the shear that was broken off and not a pin that we were initially told. Long story long, the experienced tech got it fixed. Now its time to pay. Now a different service writer ( by his own words, the original service writer that I spoke to over the phone to get the estimate and time guide) presents us with the bill. Over 780$. Not only did they mark up the cost of the wheel seal over 400%.(yeah thats right 400% not 40) but they actually charged us an additional labor charge for installing the new brake pads, when they had to remove them anyway to replace the seal. When my husband asked him (the service writer) to explain all of these different labor charges and what they were for, he couldnt, so he said to appease us so we wouldnt feel mistreated, he would discount 1 hr of labor and ended up charging us 680$. Then I read on the invoice that if the pads were contaminated and had to be replaced that the other pads on the other side of the axle should be replaced as well. Once again, no one comes and advises us of the recommendation or the cost. They apparently do what they want to do and then charge you for it. I asked the service writer why no one got with us to give us the updated estimate or the recommendation on the additional pads seeing that we were already stuck there overnight, just due to incompetence. He tells us that in the state of Indiana, service providers are not required to give customers an estimate before they do the work. So I guess this TA in Seymour, In., on I65 exit 50, just does whatever they want and dont care weather you can A) afford it or apparently B) weather you need it and then charges you whatever they feel like to try to get you to pay for their mistakes. The other employees were nice, but those service writers and the old lady who wrote up the invoice were extremely unprofessional and rude. I hope not only that they provide their techs with the proper training but that they train their office personnel in the service department on how to treat people. Because they obviously have no clue. (Perhaps the ladies working the fuel desk can provide them that work at the service desk some etiquette training).

For anyone looking to leave rough reviews recently. Keep in mind thas not construction. Im just thankful i was able to park as expected, and even had a functioning restroom given current circumstances.

Just pass on by. Lots of construction at this exit and getting back on the interstate north bound is very difficult with an oversize load. Truck stop is under construction and the restaurant is closed. They have a small fair type food vendor out by the fuel pumps but it is nasty and overpriced. Said they cook your food fresh but that was not the case. (Apparently just the fries) Burger tasted like it sat around all day in a warmer and Italian sausage was very dry. Tea tasted like it was soured. $36 for a corn dog, cheeseburger, sausage, 2 fries and 2 drinks.

This TA was hit with an unfortunate fire that closed the restaurant and main store. They have a minimal selection for store open, shop, showers, laundry, restrooms and fuel still open. They do have a food truck outside and a 24hr Cafe open across street. Great back up plan TA... specially with a Walmart DC next door

Second flat tire in two days. On our way to Michigan from winter home in FL. Staff VERY bhelpful. We purchased a new tire at Walmart then took it to TA. Fortunately, they were more than happy to assist us. Grabbed some dinner at the restaurant. By time we finished eating, they had the tire changed, and we now have 4 good tires AND a spare.Thank you TA!

Great if youre just looking to rest for the night. The store & restaurant are closed during a remodel. Right now they really have nothing to offer but fuel, parking and truck service

Dark parking, not sure if its a temporary light issue but pretty dark parking lot at night, can barely see the lines.

Just stopped here for the night for delivery up the road. Got there late, usual cluster as is everywhere. Didnt patronize store except for scale and coffee, but it seemed very clean. Staff was very polite and courteous. Not a bad stop

Im not sure what the story is but it got burnt down. No showers. No lounge.. no soda machine. Gone. All gone. The mech shop is a mini shop for bare necessity.. its a tinder box and she burnt it to the ground.

Good truck parking, free or pay, employees are very nice and This Country Pride Res is one of the best TA has still, one of the only PetroTAs that can grill a steak right. Showers are nice and clean and hot water plentiful. Exterior needs help but inside is pretty decent, overall a great stop

TA have this really good restaurant called Country Pride. Delicious country food and a salad bar. I loved the lemon pepper grilled chicken breast. I would like to thank the staff for an oustanding service!

Years ago TA was the Crown jewel of American truck stops unfortunately they really have just not kept up every single one of them is messy relatively unclean cluttered and just no place for a trucker to try to relax or rest. . I did however appreciate the free cup of coffee with my $300 fuel fill.

Under construction convinence store now run from service desk little food soda coolers empty. Too much work to bring out from cooler in store they letting soda vendors fill things. No showers new Porta potts outside up to them we not allowed in at all

Used the scales for my move. The staff werent very friendly, and seemed inconvenienced by my use of the scale.

Blasé employees, dirty washrooms, and still smells like smoke inside. DONT order pizza from the carnival food trailer staged out by diesel pumps. Overpriced and no flavor. Served to you on a paper plate like you’re at a state fair. Hard pass altogether from now on.

Interesting shop

Place burnt down and its currently being rebuilt. You can get fuel and mechanical work done but thats it. Hopefully they tear it all down and modernize the place.

Nice parking area not too tight. Restaurant temporary closed due to covid19 including no takeout as well.

The salad bar was fresh and delicious. The buffet had lots of options. The waitress was very friendly and even gave me a full to go cup on the way out. I would have given 5 stars but the mens restroom was nauseating.

I love coming to this place. Its a convenient store, and restaurant all in one. The food and service is really good but a little high on the prices. Ive ordered the steak once which was so good and once I ordered the buffet. The buffet is small but they have really good food on it. You can also get gas and lottery here

TA truck stop have lots of parking for truckers but dont go for service. First of all they give you 3 to 4 hours waiting time because of lack of employees then sometimes they dont have exact parts for you. I recommend to find a local mechanic.

Road with my husband on one of his runs and we stopped there to eat. Buffet even had some items I could eat with my stomach problems. Friendly service and real clean to besides the great food.

Lady at the register is hot

The service sometimes not that great nor in the store area-an old woman with short dark hair was angry; nor the person, that helps with the tickets for shower, when their computer on the wall screws up, she had to put us further down the line for some reason; nor in the shower- for an old man with giant beard it appeared we asked too much to have 2 extra long towels,they have a standard 2 long already for one person,since we were together with my husband, we asked for extra, never had problem before, now it appeared we asked too much!!!

Spent Labor day weekend here. Only expedite van. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Drivers lounge, showers. Buffett was okay. They have a walking map for those who might want some exercise.

I stop here alot and fuel and eat. Just stopped to get a bit and was told they closed up due to being slow. Some truckstop. Take our $ for all your overpriced fuel and misc items but when it comes to providing hot food you are not making enough? Ill never come through your doors again!

It was quiet so that was a plus but honestly its not a clean location.

The restaurant area was pretty good. Friendly staff and good food. The lady at the desk was nice but the bathrooms are horrendous. Two of the toilets were unusable, paper all over the floors, sink area was a mess, flies all over the place and broken soap dispenser. I wouldnt trust taking a shower here especially after seeing about 1/2 inch of dust on the toilet paper dispenser. Ill go elsewhere for a shower.

At 11:00 pm I had no trouble finding a parking spot, as there were plenty available..... There is plenty of space between rows so that parking is made easy for trucks hauling trailers. This is how ALL truck stops should be!

Quick stop as usual. bathrooms always clean. limited selection of bottled sodas available though, Im currently unable to have caffeine and didnt find crush, root beer or Ginger ale, just the regular main sodas like Pepsi and mountain dew. they had juice, vitamin water and sports drinks tho so I guess I cant complain too much. can usually find what I need and get back on my way in a few minutes

Food, gas, clean restrooms- a great place to stop during your trip to relax and refresh before heading back on the road.

Driving home I hit a pothole in Indiana and popped my tire. Learning quick I did not have a jack. The truck service was nice enough to jack up my car and put my spare tire on. I will always remember the great service they did for me.

The store is nice inside with more stuff than the usual Pilot or Flying J, such as a pool table. Theres only one way in and out and its a little confusing both ways for gasoline customers.

I did a 34-hour restart here. Not bad location to do a restart of lots of showers and a place to do laundry. I did four stars instead of five because they are starting to use a lot of the parking for paid parking

Not enough room inside store. Had to go to three registers to check out and then had to go back to the first one again. Good relaxation atmospheres in the restaurant, pool tables, showers

During my 10 hour break, was woken to the lovely sound of a weed eater being used right beside my sleeper. I was parked in the reserved parking close to the grass so whomever parked beside me had room to back in. Im not worried about grass being slung on my truck as a truck wash will remove it. My complaint is waiting until a truck is parked where the grass needs cut to CUT THE GRASS!!!!! When I went in to complain, the cashier said and I quote, They have to weed eat! When I told the shop foreman,Jim, he was more professional and apologized for the inconvenience and said they should have done it during the day before someone parked along the grass line. This will be the first and last time I fuel and stay at this location.

Gas pumps are pretty far from the store. Hard when its cold unless you pay at the pump and then drive to the store. Layout could be better...

I wonder what TA/Petro does with all the extra revenue created by charging for reserved parking? I wish they use it to hire their dream team of clean to patrol the restrooms more often. Every toilet in the joint with used toilet paper and spent water bottles. Loves doesnt charge for reserved parking and they clean their bathrooms every half hour.

The service department was outstanding the lead mechanic has great knowledge and integrity. All the staff were friendly.
