Im extremely grateful for the incredible service I got from multiple people at My Appliance Source . . . from the woman who took my distress call, to the man who went the extra mile to find me because I had given a wrong phone number, to the gentleman who came to our home to actually do the repair. Its rare to get this level of service these days . . . and to receive it from 3 different people at the same organization speaks to their commitment to their customers. What an excellent local business! I wont even consider going anywhere else for appliances or service. Everything from selection, price, installation, and follow-up was perfect. If you have any issues with servicing an appliance, Craig can pretty much fix anything, and he is there for you very quickly. Dont hesitate to do business with them!

We live out in the country and often have trouble getting service people out to help us. When I called The Appliance Source to ask if we were in their service area, they immediately said yes. Were about 45 mins south of their main address, so I was surprised but very pleased. The tech arrived on time and did a great job of identifying our problem and fixing it quickly (squeaky dryer). He explained the problem and showed me the bad parts. He was polite & friendly, wore his mask, and completed the job efficiently. I wouldnt hesitate for a moment to call this company again and highly recommend them, especially to other folks who live out in the boonies!

Great helpful service

Been using these folks ever since I moved here in 03. Great service both in store and at home when they have come for repair. Since my old oven no longer has available parts we will be giving their delivery and install a test run.

The best!! I have purchased all appliances here. Most recently I purchased a big green egg around 3 years ago. I was grilling and noticed a crack near the bottom of my grill. My grill had never been tipped or damaged by anything. I contacted Jim who immediately ordered a replacement and stood behind the product.. Just picked it up today! They stand behind their products and have old fashioned service. Don’t go anywhere else!!!

Straightforward buying process. I purchased a dishwasher with no issues. Later that year, the foot fell off the wood floor where it was placed. They sent out a tech for a free quick fix. I also purchased a clothes washer and in-wall A/C unit with installation. Im an online shopper, but lately Ive been willing to pay a bit more for better/local service, which these guys offer.

Great place and knowledgeable staff. No pressure. Will come back after the next appliance needs to be replaced.

I just had my new refrigerator delivered by Appliance Source. The delivery guys were friendly, careful and helpful. They made it easy.The price I got was the best in town, beating out all the big guys. But, what was best was the friendly personal service I received from Jim and his whole team.I will buy my next appliance here, without question!

Kind of far out from where were from location wise. However, depending on what youre looking for could be a fantastic opportunity to pick up whatever it is youre needing at a lower cost. If its something specific I would give a call first. Otherwise, if youre close by or passing by and its definitely worth a stop if youre in need of new appliances.

There couldnt be a better place to shop for appliances and grills in my opinion. Great selection and they carry Big Green Eggs! Im doing some renovations to my home and they educated me about what I should and should not be looking at. I also found their prices to be very reasonable! I would give 6 stars if I could. We purchased a KitchenAid Fridge, oven, microwave, and dishwasher from the incredible staff at Appliance Source. The prices were the same as the Big Box stores sale prices. However, when it came to delivery, rebates (which none of the other stores informed us about) they ended up HUNDREDS less. In the end, the service we received was hands down the absolute best and the reason we will always go back. We even had an appliance damaged in transit and Jim went across the state to get a new one...over a weekend! This small, family run store is the only place to go. Thanks again Jim. I love Appliance Source for lots of reasons!! First of all, I love that they are a family business. Secondly, it is a smaller business so they know you by name when you walk and give unbelievable service that you will not get at a Best Buy or Home Depot. This summer we moved and purchased all new appliances from them. There were a few unfortunate circumstances with back orders and between Jim and Whirlpool they went above and beyond to make things right. That’s life, sometimes things don’t go as we expect, but they give amazing customer service. We will continue to buy all of our appliances from Jim!!

I had the worst week and to top it off my dryer broke on Friday. I decided to check this place out as my head was spinning from weighing too many options and reading so many reviews. I just wanted honest feedback about a good brand that would last longer than my Samsung dryer that kicked the bucket just after turning 4. Jason C. Greeted me promptly, he was very kind to my situation, I was in the middle of 4 kids worth of laundry when my dryer gave way. We assessed my needs and looked at the models on the floor, finding the best deal to meet my needs. I felt treated fairly and whether I was there to research or buy I felt I would have gotten the same service. I asked if possible to get it ASAP and Jason found some wiggle room on Mondays schedule for the delivery...now that is service! Great family owned honest business, I will definitely be back! My Appliance Source is a great example of a local business that punches above its weight in terms of product offerings, price, and service after the sale. The are super-friendly, know their stuff, and take the time and care to help you find the right product or figure out a good diagnosis for an ailing appliance.(Also good to know: Owner Jim Halloran and his wife are very community-minded and have done tons of good works for local schools.)Why spend money at a Lowes or Home Depot for inferior products and indifferent service? My Appliance Source! I’m not sure why anyone would go anywhere else!Both of my refrigerators died in the same week. Since it was winter in Minnesota, I had time to look around to see what I wanted, and shop price. I checked with big box retailers, home improvements stores, appliance-only chains, discount stores, and did my research online. I didn’t expect this little ‘mom & pop’ shop off 169 in Shakopee to be able to compete with those big guys. I was right! They didn’t compete… They beat the lowest price by several hundred dollars! Talk about honest pricing! And they really know their appliances, too!They gave me a loaner fridge while I waited for my order to come in … which was just a few days. And when the guys came to deliver they were respectful and careful with both my new appliance and my floors and doorways.Don’t waste time like I did… just go right to My Appliance Source in Shakopee.

Very unprofessional and rude. Came to provide service without parts for a very common microwave problem and said that they need parts. No follow-up after that, I had to call them 4-5 times and every time they say no parts received. I called Whirlpool and they said parts were sent. Spent over 30 days without a microwave because of them. Stay away.
