There was more here than I expected, shop around and possibly find better prices. HOWEVER! i had absolutely excellent service. the staff was FAR more knowledgeable than any big box store and for that i will 100% continue to come here. That being said I wish they had more bagged compost or dirt to add to my garden.

Walked in clueless and multiple helpers found what I needed and discounted one item with damage. Fast checkout and they loaded my car. Like valet service!

Very friendly people well professional they know what theyre doing and they have great products to sell unfortunately when it comes to getting jobs I have to wait three seasons to get a job but when I did work for them it was a great experience but so I highly recommend going to them

Came looking for a bamboo rake which they did not have and a bolt. two cashiers were young kids that normally come and ask you for help they did not ask it all they said on their desks

Two men walked in behind me as I entered the store, the two workers went directly to the men and asked to help them. I’m not sure if they assumed that I was with them because I was a female in the hardware store. I did say something to the employee after they finish... I made a comment that I was not being helped even after the two men had walked in after me. I guess you don’t bother if you’re a female because you won’t get help

Overpriced, double or triple the cost at other stores. Employees are rude.

The staff is always friendly and helpful when needed, their screw and fitting selection is kept well stocked and incredibly handy for whatever project I have on hand.

Typical Ace hardware except they seem to have a very low inventory. Only one or two on the shelf of many many items. Employees have a tendency to point rather then take you to the product. Items are expensive at this store. $8.00 for a small roll of chaulking rod chaulking backer is outrageous.

I dont go here too often, but when I need something from s hardware store, this is where I go first. They usually have what Im looking for.

The four star is for the service. I like to shop at the small stores before going to Lowes in hopes that I dont have to make that second trip. Unfortunately they were out of what I was looking for which meant that I had to make that second trip. The customer service was great. I was greeted at the door and was taken to every spot to ensure I got what I was looking for. Just unfortunately didnt have everything.

Big box stores have got nothing on Ace. Ace hardware employees are helpful and diligent. Plus if they dont have it, you dont need it! Great place.

This place has no stock. Save yourself the time and go to lowes. Been in and out for a year project and they come up short almost every time.as a contractor, I have used ace in many places and most of them have what is needed for basic and advanced projects. To the owner, your staff is great but they keep telling me that they dont get product in to restock what I purchase. Please for the great residents of downtown shokopee get in stock and replace items that are needed. These bins have been empty for months in plumbing.

A great throwback to service. Four stars only because of the price but convenience and service more than make up for cost.Im there at least once a week.

Needs a few more selections for wiper blades

Pretty price for stuff the isnt super knowledgable about issues Im having which causes me to have to figure out problems myself. Its not bad to great 1 or 2 things, but dont expect them to know much about your project. Save yourself time and money and just go to the Lowes a mile or 2 up the road.

Excellent ! They are what a local neighborhood hardware store is supposed to be. Small but they have everything you need. Some of the most knowledgeable people too. You got a problem, yo they solve it. Or atleast point you in the right direction.

Do NOT bring your chainsaw to ACE in Shakopee ! It was a nightmare on ELM street ! I brought my chainsaw in mid May 2018 and got 1 call back from them on June 2nd. The mechanic tried to make me feel guilty and kept asking What did you do to it ? You must have overheated the engine ? Then he said he would need to put a head gasket or a seal on it for $225. They never called me back for almost 2 months. It was my job to call them every week apparently after they told me that the parts will be coming in next week . In mid July 2018 after two months of their service of nothing I took my saw back from them and brought my saw into Rooster in Belle Plaine and he had it back to me in 3 work days. It was a gas line. $61 out the door. Nightmare over !
