The staff are nice and helpful. Andrea made my manicure experience wonderful and cut my hair beautifully. She listened to my complaints about my hair and what I wanted changed and offered solutions. Loved how she textured my hair to not feel so thick due to parting on my right. I will definitely come back.

Andrea is the best with haircuts and eyebrows. She is amazing!

My future daughter in law and I had pedicures. It was great. We had a relaxing time and my feet are grateful.

I wish this was a much higher clientele with price that they charge for. Very many younger girls working the checkout and just really did not make me feel comfortable. The total came to $54 for just a eyebrow lip and Chin wax. Yeah lets say thats an experience well never forget but thats what I get for last minute Valentines day

I received an unexpected terrible haircut from my current (now former) barber, and I reached out to beauty brands for help. Jacob was knowledgeable, gracious and stifled his laughter long enough to restore my confidence and turn me into a returning client for sure. Will definitely return. Thank you, Jacob!

Horrible customer service! Let me start by saying, this was the first time in almost 10 years that I was attempting to get my hair done by someone new! I had and appointment scheduled ...shortly before my appointment they called and asked me again about the services I needed and asked me if I could come 15 minutes later because the stylist was running behind...sure great, that’s fine..well after sitting in my car for an additional 20 minutes on top of that extension, waiting for the call to come in (COVID procedure) I HAD TO CALL THEM to ask how much longer the wait would be just to be informed that they actually wouldn’t be able to complete my services and to tell me I could do one or the other, cut or color🙄 They did offer to give me 20% off of my services if I wanted to reschedule but I passed. If your customer service is this bad...why would I let you touch my hair!?!? I definitely will be taking my business elsewhere

I came in today for the annual liter sale and from the moment I walked in I was greeted by an employee named Simon. I had some questions and he was so friendly and helpful! I asked him how long he worked at Beauty Brands and he said it was his second day, I was shocked at his level of knowledge of the products and how welcoming and kind he was to me. I will be going to this location again, Simon was Great!!!

Good store if you’re looking for salon quality hair products. I’ve never had trouble finding shampoo/conditioner for my blonde treated hair. As far as service goes, the past times I’ve been in, they’ve tried to sell me higher ended products and didn’t pay much attention to what I was really needing.

Liter sale is the only reason this place is great! :D $15 for high grade shampoo is a fantastic deal. Plus, the service is wonderful. All the employees are friendly.

I came for a mani/pedi with Jessica R. What a wonderful experience. Jessica was so sweet and easy to talk to, she made me very comfortable and treated me as a friend. Her work was very very good, my nails look fantastic, and I have received several compliments! The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful with picking out mascara (SALE!!) and nail polish, and ringing up my purchases. The store is clean and neat, and it is easy to find what you are looking for. Highly recommended. I will be coming back for facial services as well with Jessica R, shes the best.

Each time I go in, I have a specific question. The workers always refer me to their expert and I end up having amazing service. This last time, I had to return something that caused an allergic reaction to my sensitive skin. The return was so easy. I cannot recommend this store more.

Katie is the best stylist Ive ever gone to! I can walk in not knowing what I want and she will make it awesome, she knows her clients and what we like. If I buy products and am not happy they will take them back with no hassle and let me exchange for another product.

Kat is my stylist and Im still saying every few days how much I love my cut. She took off 8 and gave me a bob with lots of angles. She really worked until she was happy with it (my hair is kinda weird, but doesnt every girl think that?) Now I get to enjoy the result of her hard work. Ill be back!

Had lashes done with Danni today. First time having lashes done at Beauty Brands. She did an excellent job, the lashes were beautiful. She took her time and made sure they were perfect. I will definitely be returning for my fills.

Their environment is bright & cheerful. They always have someone ready to help. The store is filled with a wide selection of skin care products, hair care and styling tools as well as make up.

The services at the Shawnee location is AWFUL My daughter just had a haircut and the stylists Was so rough with her, brushing hard, constantly grazing side of her cheeks with the brush. . .... this is not the first bad experience. Simply put DONT GO! I will never take my daughters or go again. I Will be talking to a manager to complain about the stylist ASAP

Super nice staff.

I was there for the first time. All salon employees I have interact with are very nice including person I talked on the phone. Place are clean and well organized. My stylist Kat was super nice. I was greeted very nicely, then she took time to discuss what I need. I just wanted to get some relaxing time. And no hair cut. She didnt even show ANY bad reaction or attitude but very positive attentive reaction. Which I have gotten mean or negative reaction in other salons before if you dont get actual hair stuff done. Anyway, she suggested couple options and prices, she was very honest about her suggestion about my hair which was helpeful, so I did blowout and treatment. The results was amazing! My hair has been like a straw by getting high lights over and over, but it became so silky, smooth and shiny! I have a lot of hair too, but she took time to blow dry and straighten. They told me it last 3-4 weeks. I am very happy about the whole experience there. she made my day!! Ill be back for sure :)

Everyone that works at this salon is extremely friendly - all the front end staff is very knowledgeable if you need assistance with finding a product that you are needing - or didnt think of until they mention it. Very helpful and very professional.

3 bad experiences. All 3 times we have called in to schedule an appointment. When we arrived the stylist we were assigned to were not working that day or coming in later that day. They claim its a system glitch. First 2 times we rescheduled the appointment. Today we went elsewhere. Seriously, pull it together!

Great sale! Hairspray, dry shampoo, skin care & more...

It was aight. Went with my girlfriend. I was forced to sit in a chair for about an hour looking at products i dont need. In the long run, I got a power nap in. So that was ok i guess. After she was doing her thang. I stood in a line and it seemed to have moved rather promptly. I didnt make any purchases so i cant rate product but I do know the AC and waxing services work.

Service offerings are great, and the store has product for men and women.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR FACIALS!!! I scheduled an appointment today at 1:15 and reached there on time after doing so, the man at the front desk gave me the sheet to fill out after I had said I wanted a facial. He then gave me the wrong sheet and then told me to wait.. after 30 MINUTES LATER I was concerned especially when I HAD an appointment.. Afterwards one of the women who works there says, sorry their was a mix up we dont have room for you and I was pissed at the unprofessional man at the counter who had us waiting and did not even tell us there is no room for us. On top of that he seemed like he had a lot of ego and attitude as to were he did not even tell us that they have no room for us this Man who had the ugliest attitude ever was probably racist af and full of himself, too bad hes stuck working at beauty brands. I would recommend this to people who want to waste and their time and be treated unprofessionally. DO NOT GO HERE IT IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE IN SHAWNEE.

Stylist was 35 minutes late and the haircut she finally did for me was terrible. Will not go back here.
