Theres a big poster in the inside that says that if you buy two new tires, they will place them on the back, for safety reasons. After they were done, when I noticed they didnt actually do this on my car, they explained it away saying that my other tires had enough tread. Then three days later I took this same car to my trusted mechanic for a different issue, and they said that the tires had to be rotated, adding extra expense for me. They got me back on the road quickly that day, but I dont think I will be returning. I also regret paying $100 for alignment, just didnt make a good quick decision, so thats my fault, but it also left me with a bad feeling about my transaction there overall.
They were patient in keeping ticket open when I did not have the key to my tires, yes there is such a thing, ask them about it. Week later, after getting my new tire key, got all new tires at an unbelievably great price due to their special. Rodger and the other associates were fantastic!
Scott has one of the worst guest service ever, the guy called the cops on me after I called him out for not doing their job right as they owed me a tire rotation and instead of helping me, Scott said I had never been there before thus, I didnt have any business there when I have my receipt that I purchased two new tires there plus, I have other vehicles I take there as well. This guy has to go, you cant mess up on the job then kick your customers out because you feel you dont want to deal with a problem. Id give zero stars if I could.
Excellent service by Ryan. He kept me updated on my vehicle repair and was very friendly throughout. The repair was done very quickly and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend and am happy to find a place for all my future care repair needs!
I made an appointment for an alignment and new tires, and only received an alignment. I dont know if it was a computer glitch or what, but it was an expensive trip without the tires, so I can only imagine how much worse it would have been had I gotten the tires. The employees were great! Happy & helpful. The prices here are astronomical, however. $120 for an alignment. Go to Les Schwab and pay $40 for the same service, skip this place unless you have no other worldly alternative.
I went in to get a new tire after mine blew while driving. They squeezed me in on my lunch break and I ended up needing three tires rather than just 1. The total quite literally made me cry (Im a broke college student) and I felt terrible, but Robert gave me tissues, made sure I was okay, and explained exactly what the charges were and made me feel a lot better. Everyone was incredibly nice and he made sure I knew to come back for tire rotations on a regular maintenance schedule. I couldnt recommend this location enough.

When working on customer’s vehicles, and something breaks during the process, is it always presumed customer error? I dropped off my vehicle for a simple tire repair and they insured me it’ll only take 35 mins and cost $41. I walked to Home Depot to grab a couple things and received a call from Big O. They didn’t start off with hey we broke your stud on the wheel, but who put on the spare tire? As though it must be that individual who is the reason for the damage and not the operator who was taking off the tire. Customer blaming is poor business practice and my 35 mins turned into 2 hr wait, and $41 jumped up to $150 charge; also, I had to cancel my appointment to accommodate them. Overall frustrating experience and I left feeling guilty because it was determined that how I put on the spare tire was the root of the damage. I took my repair here because it was cheaper than other shops but I guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t wanna take any of my other vehicles back here in the event something else goes wrong and I am the one to blame again.
The staff was on point the place was clean. I also like the fact afterwards he told me some more intel about my vehicle in the near future to have done. I would highly recommend going to them over Jiffy Lube high price for an oil change.
After having my appointment cancelled last minute by the manager at the Big O off Nieman. I called the Shawnee Big O and spoke to the store manager Robert and informed him of my situation and he squeezed me in. I showed up 15 minutes early or more appointment and they got my car back and got right back to working on it. Amazing customer service with fast and quality work!!! Will be returning and highly recommending!
Wont honor a warranty I PAID EXTRA for back in Arizona. Greedy managers. Poor customer service. Im glad I took my other car to discount tire - theyve NEVER given me any problems when it comes to anything I purchased the extra warranties on.

Any time I have had an issue with Big O at The Legends (and I’ve had several), Scott has done whatever it took to make things right. This was above and beyond, since Scott doesn’t even work at The Legends location any longer. He’s truly the only reason I continue to do business with Big O Tires. I hope they appreciate him. I know I sure do!
Bought 4 tires 2 months ago and got a small screw in one tire. They could not fix it, had to buy another tire. My tires were discontinued (?), had me buy a more expensive one to match the tread. No way I will ever go back.

I needed to get a tire fixed in order to make it home. I got there 20 min. Before they closed and the gentleman at the register said he would go check to see if the techs wouldnt mind staying late. 20 min. Later I had my tire fixed and back on the road. Thanks guys!

I needed a front end alignment and 2 tires. I got an estimate from Scott who was great. Then 3 days later went in and Kyle helped me. There was a problem and Kyle called me. Overall Im very pleased with my service and tires. I dropped my car off and it was done in 2 hours. I recommend them highly.

Dont trust the specials they offer/advertise. Ive tried to use offers theyve sent me multiple times now and for one reason or another, they never apply to my vehicle. The last time I tried, the $25 oil change offer ended up being $80.

Went in for a flat tire repair and when I was done there was a big grease spot in my car that wont come out. And my tires are to be filled to 33 psi but the repaired tire was filled to 46 psi. They also said they topped off my windshield washer fluid and now no fluid comes out. Will not be going back since I had so many issues when I only went there for a flat tire repair. I wouldnt be surprised if they just hire people with no mechanical experience.
Economical place for an oil change, but they didnt seat the cars drain plug properly and oil leaked onto a big spot on my driveway. Good thing I noticed and the car didnt lose all its oil.
Edit to add that they redeemed themselves by giving our son excellent customer service and a nice discount on a new set of tires because of our previous experience!We took our car in today for a tire plug. They called us at 5:50 to come pick up. We live 15 minutes away and by the time we got there, they were leaving and put our car in the garage bay. Told us we couldn’t get it because they closed. They never mentioned they would be closing soon when they called. Now our car is stuck there overnight. She refused to get it out. Very disappointing experience. We will be sure to share our experience with others. Extremely poor customer service.

My experience was great here, they told me everything I needed honestly and made sure to find me an affordable option. They also did it last minute on a Sunday with limited staff and still finished it! I’m very pleased with this place and will recommend it to anyone I know!
Took car in for alignment and a tired day had an appointment, waited 5 minutes when I got in the store for someone to come to the counter. 2 1/2 hours later I saw my car pull out and parked in front. It took 20 minutes for anyone to get to me as I waited in the lounge. When I paid and went out, I looked at the tire and raised white letters were inside, all others were outside. Went in and it took 45 more minutes to get that fixed.Now the tire was 9 months old and had road hazard, alignment was covered. With road hazard it still cost me $150. This is not worth it.Not a happy cu and hope not to return. Very poor service. After all the wait and screw up, I should have been compensated somehow.
Used to be NTB, and I had done a lot of business with them. After turning to Big O Tire there has been a marked decline in service quality. product offering and customer service. They carry a bunch of off-brand tires and seldom have stock on the higher quality tires. Planning on closing my account and going to another company.
I showed up at 12:45 for scheduled 1pm oil change. I told them I would be waiting in the lobby They assured me when I arrived that it would be done by 2-2:15. I checked in with them at 2:15 (after hearing nothing from them) and they had not even started the oil change and indicated to me it would be another 45 minutes to an hour. I had to leave without service. It was a total waste of my time. FYI they charge additional fees for the oil change that are not included in the advertised price ($3 disposal fee and a $7 “Supplies” fee)
I had my tires replaced here. I requested that a newer tire be put on my spare. They claimed they couldnt find the part that lowers my spare. It literally fell out of the back when I got home. They also didnt balance the tires or properly inflate them. So after making an appt to have them replaced and waiting an hour and a half, I had to go back again and wait again for it to be fixed.I had to increase my review after Kyle helped get my situation resolved. He corrected misinformation I was given from another tire place and it meant alot to have someone care about the service I received.

I bought a new set of 4 tires for my car late last year from Big O. I was happy enough with the scheduling, accomodations, and efficiency so I decided to come back a week later for an alignment after I had replaced a few bushings myself.I noticed within a month that one of the tires had a leak, slow enough that I could get by filling it only every 2 weeks, but it was definitely a leak.After 6 months and less than 1000 miles on the car, I called to schedule an appointment and was greeted by a less friendly staff member. I scheduled a timely appointment within a few days and brought the car in. I was informed that any fixable leak would cost $30 for repair, since I had declined the tire hazard warranty. I always decline these because my car is AWD and I would have to pay out of pocket for the other 3 tires anyways. I informed them that the leak had been there since the new tires were put on and was a possible bead or stem issue (they didnt replace the stems).I watched the mechanic check the tire for foreign objects and spray the inside of the tire with soap and find a leak on the bead within 2 minutes. They removed the tire, cleaned the rim properly and remounted the tire within 30 minutes total. When checking out, I was informed the charge was $30 plus tax since I declined the coverage (this wasnt a foreign object so shouldnt have covered it anyways). When I mentioned again that the tire had a leak since they were put on and was pretty obviously an install issue being the bead wasnt clean enough, and politely asked if theyd waive the charge since the tires had less than 1000 miles on them, I was told that they wouldnt be able to since they had to remount and balance the tire etc. In my mind, this doesnt matter since the leak was there from the beginning.Overall Im not dis-satisfied, I just would have thought waiving the $30 fee after I had spent over $600 and run into what Id say was obviously install error would have made plenty of sense to keep a customer. Ill probably just look around a bit before returning the next time.
First and last time I will ever come here why would you call a place big O tires but wont do any big tires need to change the name.
If I could give a 0 star I would. Called to get pricing and schedule mount and balance. Was quoted one price and came in and it was alot higher priced. The other service writer came over and said Im not arguing but you only said balance. Great customer care. I wouldve still done business if it wasnt for the remark. This was a big O no moment. I would recommend going elsewhere if you want to be taken care. Might I suggest Burnett automotive.
I never write reviews, but this place was so awesome! I was in a bind and needed all new tires ASAP and had some major car problems. The guys put on all new tires in less than an hour and a half and took the time to sit down and explain to me everything going on with my car! They were so helpful and so professional! I used to go to Goodyear, but I will definitely be coming here from now on!!
I had a great experience at the KC Shawnee store. A couple of things happened as I watched the front counter during my visit. They convinced me that the employees were most interested in fixing their customers cars issues than they were at just selling stuff to boost their sales totals. Great job guys!
4:05pm Sun walk in for an oil change. 1 person in lobby, guy behind desks rude “what do you want bud”. I explained I liked a oil change. Ain’t got time. So went down the street to Valvoline. 5 cars deep at 4:20pm and they said. We will get you taken care of no problem. That’s true customer service not Big O Tires.

They dont have a good system at all. Website gave wrong size tires, they didnt have the tires I wanted even though the website said they had them in stock. Didnt have oil change stickers which is minor, but makes me wonder. On the good side, they did get the work done pretty quickly.

I was in for a tire rotation. Wednesday afternoon was the perfect time! I walked in and Bret got my car right in. They checked everything and reviewed it with me. I am due for an air filter and the 50,000 mile fuel system maintenance. If I’d had an hour to give I certainly would have gotten it done. I have bought tires from them for both of my autos and have been very happy. Thank you Bret and Josh!
Cody took fantastic care of my truck. I needed new tires and had been shopping prices. He walked me through the options, costs and comparisons and did not pressure me one way or another. Customer service was top notch. He even walked me through upcoming promotions so I could buy now or later to get the best price (which was the first time I have ever had a shop do that). I had an issue the next day with a horrible brake squeal and had concerns something got knocked loose during the tire install. They got me right in and diagnosed it. It was only a rock that I had picked up on the road but they performed the free alignment check at the same time. Great guys and 3 others were willing to jump in to diagnose when we got it on the rack. Really really pleased with the experience I had!My kids also love that the new tires say “BIG FOOT” on the side.
Only cause I bought the run a flats and the road hazard insurance got my tire fixed for free. But confused why their battery tester said mine was no good. Maybe a lack of training or not will see. Took it back to where I bought the battery and had it tested again it was fine but the cables were corroded but they tested the battery and it was fine, confused why they estimated $183 for a battery that doesnt need fixed.
The team at the store was helpful and was good with advice. The only hiccups were really related to trying to arrange the new tires and oil change through the website. It doesnt tell you where the tires you want are in stock, and it doesnt show all the other fees that come with installing the tires. I ended up going to the store to find out my appointment request had not been accepted, because it got spammed. I still ended up needing to look on my phone on the website - and then even that didnt show that the tires I wanted would have to be retrieved from another shop. It seems like all that could be done with a better web app...
If I could give it 0 stars i could. No ASE certified signs anywhere so I shouldnt have came here for an oil change but I did because I was getting tires. Big mistake on my part! Do not let them touch your car!

The store looked very busy when we showed up for an unscheduled oil change. Luckily they were able to accommodate us about an hour and a half later which was great because we had errands to run nearby. Oil change with tire rotation took about an hour and cost a little over $70 for full synthetic.
I came in with a punctured tire from a nail I picked up on the interstate and they were within 10 minutes of closing for the day. It was 6pm and with a tire that only had 2 lbs of pressure left, I didn’t have the option to drive around to find an open service shop. Mitch greeted me and said he’d do his best to get me taken care of, even if he had to work late. He quickly repaired my tire and would not take any money for it. Will use this location for all my future tire needs. This kind of service is rare- thank you Mitch and Big O!

These guys were great. They replace front suspension parts with NAPA parts. They got me in right away after I had called and asked about an appointment. The quality of their tires are very good, and the prices are very competitive, if not less expensive. They are looking out for the customers best interest and replace only the parts that were needed. I will not go anywhere else for tires again. The 4 wheel alignment made a big difference on how the car drives.
I was driving and all of the sudden the lugnuts on my front left wheel came loose and the wheel started shaking. Fortunately it happened right in front of big o tires and I pulled in and the nice guys here torqued all of the lugs down for me super quick and sent me on my way. Definitely recommend for any wheel or tire needs you have. Great customer service.

I came to Big O to get oil change and tire rotation and balance. Earlier I purchase a set of 4 tires from the same store, so receive monthly statements that contain coupons for Big O services and products. I told the clerk I had a $25 off coupon for purchases over $100 and he immediately said that is not a Big O coupon. I then showed him that it was the back side of my statement. He then said that it could not be used for oil changes, even though the coupon says it can be used for maintenance services. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager said that oilchanges were already discounted and therefore the coupon could not be used. I had not even been told the cost of the oil change at this point and knew nothing about it being a discount. ( I later learned from Corporate that oil changes are always discounted, which doesnt make sense and may be in violations of trade practices. Something cant be promoted as a special sale or discount unless it is truly less than its normal price.) I agreed to proceed with the work but was left to feel like I was trying to swindle Big O out of $25. The whole thing could have been handled correctly if the clerk had not been so quick to tell me my coupon was not valid then tell me it didnt apply to oil changes before offering any explanation. I told the Corporate person who call me today that the coupon should say that oil changes are not considered maintenance. Go figure. As a side note, I was pretty turned off from the beginning by the clerks lack of a friendly greeting and his wearing a baseball cap backwards. I know I am older but I worked in retail and customer service for a number of years and therefore I know what good, professional customer service should be.
Maybe it was just me but it seemed like they were only interested in upselling me after my purchase. Added an alignment fee without asking if I wanted it. Underestimated repair time. Told me it would take an hour but took about 3 hours. Didnt seem to care that I was unhappy about waiting longer than estimated.

TPMS sensor had been on since we purchased the vehicle (1 yr ago). Dealership couldnt get it fixed.I made an appointment for Big O Tires to check it outThey ran a test..... found out it was the spare sensor, reprogrammed it and done.I was there four about 20 minutes.Easy Peasy! Great work and service.
If I could give 0 stars I would.I made an appointment to have a tire patched. They were able to patch the tire and advised that I replace a different tire. I agreed. The ‘new tire’ that I was charged for is not new. It has wear on it and is filthy. When I asked for a refund I was denied. The assistant manager suggested I take my toddler home, leave her there and come back. They offered to ‘clean’ the ‘new tire’. Cleaning a used tire does not make it new. I will never return to this store and will advise any one to stay away.

I had an unrepairable flat tire so I wasnt able to do a lot of shopping ahead of time. The only place that had my tire size and the brand I wanted was at this location so I went.When I called, I was quoted roughly 129.00 a tire. When I arrived, my quote changed quickly to about $500.00 I was a bit taken aback by the inflated estimate. The person I spoke to had added a wheel alignment to the estimate but hadnt told me about it. He removed it and the price went down to about $400.00When I got my original estimate, I wasnt told that mounting was 25.00 per tire so that added 50.00 to the estimate. (Roughly 310 at the time) Then I was told I needed new valve stems, that made sense sine I already knew it was good practice to replace them with new tires. Roughly 330.00 estimate plus tax so it make more sense. I told them to do it and asked how long it would take. I was told it would take about an hour which seemed reasonable.My car sat for roughly two hours before someone came out to me and suggested I get a wheel alignment because of my flat tire. I reminded him that my flat was on my REAR tire so why was a FRONT wheel alignment necessary. I again declined the alignment. It was also suggested to me that I consider getting my battery replaced because it appeared to be old. I had my battery replaced last year so I didnt understand why ANYONE would think a battery with a year old battery would need to be replaced. I declined that too.Maybe 15 minutes later, ANOTHER person, I assumed a manager came to me and suggested I get a WHEEL ALIGNMENT. I again declined. By the way, there was NEVER a free offer of an alignment check. Just an offer to charge me for one. I really felt like they were attempting to scam me.After roughly 3 hours from when I originally arrived, my two tires that should have taken an estimated hour to install, was finished.The service advisor sort of apologized for the extra time but didnt offer any compensation for the time I lost.I got the impression that if I had gotten a wheel alignment like they kept insisting on, I might have gotten out sooner.I had a very poor experience with this location and I do not intend to go ever again. Ill be sure to tell me friends too.Update: This occurred in 2019. The battery they told me two years ago was bad is still working. I took my car to the dealer to get an oil change because its part of their warranty and was told I didnt need an alignment.

Adviser used scare tactics to try to convince me to get service completed. Price for the repair was double what the dealer quoted me. He then tried to add on coupons on discounts to talk me into staying there. Overall it was a very negative experience. This was my first time visiting a Big o Tire and I will never make that mistake again.

Was concerned that the repairs that were Recommended were excessive because I’m a woman. Also some repairs were made before I authorized them. Felt like Big O was trying to rip me off. After years is going there, I probably won’t return.

Although I called and made an appointment, it still took them an hour and 20 minutes to change out just two tires. And this is after I alerted them that I had to get to work quickly. It almost seemed like I was put on the back burner because I did not purchase any of their upselling.

I would give less if I could. So I took my car in about a month ago to get new tires, new break pads, an alignment and an oil change. Not only did they price me outrageously after saying they would match tire prices from another quote I got they also claimed I needed new roters along with the pads. They said my roters were so bad
I had an oil change & tire rotation appointment last week. Everything went well until I went home and noticed both front tires looked low. I went to put air in my tires - one tire only had 22 pounds of air. If I can tell the tire is low - I would expect a tire shop to notice. This is the second incident at the Shawnee location. Another time I made an early morning appointment so I wouldnt be too late to work. When I got there, there werent any employees who could service my car - why would I come early if my car couldnt be serviced?? I was told they thought I was dropping off. Not the case, but I understand mistakes are made. What really upsets me is there 1 employee who works the front counter that is ALWAYS rude every time Ive been to this location. Hes also rude when you call and try to schedule an appointment. Ive decided to take my business elsewhere.
I was in for an oil change, tire rotation, and headlight replacement. I was very happy with the customer service I received. The wait time was not any longer than expected. While I was in there, I was informed of a few other needs my car will need in the future. I was given quotes to take home with me. I was happy that I did not feel pressured to have anything extra done that same day. I am new to the area and glad this is where I chose to have my car serviced. The oil change coupon I received in the mail got me in there. I am happy to say that I will be a returning customer.
Came in a couple mos. ago with a nail in my brand new jeeps tire. Only had the jeep for a month and the tire was flat. Took it to another place where they said they could not repair the tire and ended up at Big O Shawnee Ks. They had me fixed up and out the door within 30 min. and tire is still doing fine. Back for an oil change today as they have earned my business!

I researched which tires I wanted on the Big-O website prior to my arrival. Upon arrival, I was told they arent in stock and couldnt get ordered and delivered in a timely manner so they proceeded to try to sell me their store brand tires. When I said I would go home to research them they magically said they could get the tires I wanted within a day. I proceded because I didnt want to start over researching tires at another shop. I was there and wanted to get this done.Second problem was the hard sell on the alignment. When I declined the alignment they told me (to paraphrase) that Im making a stupid decision.Ultimately I got the tires I wanted at a good price and the shop seemed to do a good job. But the overall experience was bad as described above.
Best Garage/Company ever!!!! They have a credit Card you can put your payment on and do monthly payments on if you have acceptable credit, and when they are working with your car you can look through a window and watch them, and they have amazing deals and amazing realignment deals, friendly staff, they dont BS you their upfront with you, so no beating around the bush, they dont lie and make up stuff that isnt their, and they will show you personally whats up with your car if you ask or they even offer sometimes. I suggest everyone should go to this company, theirs some in every state so if you have their deals or just straight up like them you can find them everywhere
I came in with 1 flat tire (hit a pothole), They were very busy that day, but were able to squeeze me in. I was told it might be a 3 hour wait. I had brought a book, expecting the long wait. 3 hours turned out to be 90 minutes. I was very happy they were able to get ot my tire replaced much quicker than I was told. The new tire is working great.

Stopped by this morning looking to purchase 4 new tires. Stood in the lobby for 5 minutes, didnt see one staff member, left and spent $700 at another tire place down the street.
Every once in a while you find that gem. That one place that just wows you. Cody the manager and his team went above and beyond at this location. I went in for a flat repair. Being an adult I understood I probably would not be getting in right away. Cody explained their situation and offered not only to give me a ride home while I waited but he also (understanding everyone has things to do on days off) offered to top off my tire pressures and call me when an opening came free. Once he called I shot right down and had my tire fixed in what seemed like 10 minutes. Good coffee, good people, great service. Go see Cody if you need anything done car related.
They went out of their way to help me with a service they had discontinued, I’m sad to say I won’t be a returning customer since they no longer offer diesel oil changes .
Outstanding customer service by Joe today. Tested my battery, identified the issue, sold me the new battery and jump-started my truck. He even gave me a few tips on replacing it. Done in 15-minutes. Great job.

Went online to make an appointment. Website was acting odd. Got three notifications that I had an appointment. Made the trip in, the guy at the counter acted annoyed that I was there--said that they couldnt get me in, and the online system was down and thats why you didnt get a confirmation (I did.) Said that Id just have to leave it because they had so many people coming in. So I took my business across the street to Walmart Auto, they got me right in, and I got a new tire installed for $65--about half the price of Big O. Was interested in trying you all out--but Ill never be back.
I came in on a Friday evening just a few hours before closing due to needing new tires. The personnel confirmed what the dealership had told me regarding my tires and had much better deals, and better overall tires, than the dealership. They were able to set up an order for me and got my truck in the next morning to get the tires put on. They were very professional and performed the work quickly. I always liked this location when they were NTB so Im glad to see nothing has changed other than the name.
This was my 1st time coming into Big O Tires and going forward this will be the only place i come to for my car service needs. I arrived for a regular oil change. Tom greeted me in a matter of seconds input my information into the system and immediately got me in. Unbenounced to me my front tires barely had transaction. He quoted me a reasonable price and got my car taken car of in exactly 1hour. Start to finish a great experience with knowledgeable, friendly and efficient workers.
My wife ran over a bolt and went straight to the store. They fixed the tire without an appointment and with just an hour before closing time. They didn’t want her to leave with a leaky tire. Thanks a lot! Great customer service!
