Prices are a bit higher than you would think for used items. Staff was talking about an annoying repeat customer. We do like the variety of older items, but wont be returning soon.

Truly the worst experience I’ve had in a long time! I brought in a huge collection of cards to sell. The staff member that was there was immediately rude. He acted like he didn’t even want me there. I came back later that day and started sorting my rarest cards and he again treated me like I was a bother, he even complained that I had too many cards and he would only look up the most valuable ones, I told him that these were the valuable one he got and walked away, so I just gave him my secret rare cards that I had in mint conditions which I had multiple copies of and he was giving me the worst values and tried to argue with me about the rarity after admitting he knew nothing about the cards. I will never shop at vintage stock again.

Front desk work, at Olathe location, was super helpful. I dont remember her name, but she was had an alternative style and wore a corset. Her store didnt have a movie I wanted, but she called Shawnee, KS and had them hold it for me. I was able to grab it the next day!

DONT SELL CARDS THEY STEAL THEM!!!!!!!I dropped of cards a couple months ago for then to look at Pokemon yugio etc left them there for one day and then went back to get them and they wanted to buy binders they didnt even look through one of the employees was like dont sell them to us there worth way more and agreed them doing that was shaddy so I gave them the chance to look through binders they called me back and offered $20 more which was insane so I go back to get them and got them that night after not selling any to them next day they call me sat ng they forgot to give me a lot of cards back so I had to make a second trip to there now months later Im going through them to sell them fin bulk on Facebook and realized they stole alot of the rare cards to resell dont let this happen to you and dont sell bulk items to them they will steal stuff

The best place in the city to complete your CD collection or DVDs for that matter every holiday weekend they run a special

Friendly staff and good stock. Ive brought my 4 year old son there multiple times and they have never had any issue with him looking at the guitar hero controllers in the back or playing with the box of hot wheels they have.

The guys were busy doing their own work and tasks and only helped us after we called out to them. they seemed more interested in their tasks than greeting customers and never asked if we needed any assistance. I had to prompt the conversation on where something was. not the friendliest bunch but thry were quick to check out.

Really cluttered, couldnt find what I was looking for.

I was impressed by the service I received from the guys who worked at this location. They all were very knowledgeable and even when they couldnt assist me personally they pointed me in the right direction.

This place is cool. I didnt buy anything but I could have spent a lot of money if I had my own apartment. There were cool movie posters and vinyls and mangas oh my!

It started off rocky for me. Im not tech savvy. Please if you visit here ask for Patrick! He walked me quickly around the store and not only knocked out my vintage movie list, but also upgraded my sons beloved video game to NEW For the same price

Rude staff during COVID hours. Like to let you know as you are walking in the door - What do you need, we are closing soon. Store is small and there was 15 minutes left. I wanted one item that website implies that should be in stock - no go on the shelf. Sorry that I work more than 8 hours a day and have limited time after work to shop. Maybe Shawnee should raise there taxes and force this location to close like Wyandotte. The service makes me want to drive an extra 15+ minutes to go to any other location.

This place is amazing! They have a great stock and they have good prices! I picked up some ps2 games for a good price and they always have sales going on! The employees were nice and they were even giving out free posters! I think you should really check this place out, it is awesome!

They wrap all of the video games so you cant see whats inside. They charge high ebay prices only to find out there is no manual inside and game has scratches. Rip off!!!!!!!

New videogames for my Collection

They had what we wanted and the clerk behind the desk new a lot about what we wanted and chatted with us about it. It was great. Theyre friendly and willing to help you the best they can. Definitely a great place to go to for cards, games, a d all things nerdy.

Great customer service, with people who are knowledgeable in their choices for games, mange, anime, and collectibles

I was going almost everyday spending$$ whole my wife went tanning next door. I dont enjoy being followed around like a thief, then when I cash out my items searched like Im getting on a plane. I will find something else to do for now on. Very saddened by this, by I dont like being treated like a criminal.

My brother loves this place its the only gaming store he wants to go to. Great selection. Service was good as expected. Can be pricey for being used items but employees were sincere and honest about the products. If youre looking to trade something in like a gaming system for credits the value is way less than expected. In other words the trade-in value isnt very good.

I wish i could show you the cheap prices they gave me for my gaming equipment it was almost embarrassing.

Ive been going to this Vintage Stock for years, and have mostly had good experiences. Like with any store, there have been points when staff has been less-than-stellar, but at the moment, the staffing is wonderful! Everyone is very helpful and will answer any question you have. The only real complaint is that I have purchased games here in the passed, that were so scratched up they never worked. Luckily, its as simple as going back to swap it out, but it is slightly inconvenient. Still, I highly recommend this location.

Ive been going here for almost 10 years and I still feel the same way every time I step in. They have a great selection of, well, everything nerdy. And the employees are always super friendly and personable. You can tell that they at least like working there most days.

They have a quickly rotating selection that is always new and fresh to browse through, and their $1 boxes are to die for!!!

Service here is much better than the Metcalf vintage stock, the people are very attentive and friendly. However my main problem is that I clearly got over charged for something on sale and when I tried to ask about it I was told I was wrong. The Memorial Day sale was buy 1 get 1 on all graphic novels, as it was clearly stated on the sign right above their manga selection. I walked up to check out with 12 manga in hand and I was charged the “regular book” Memorial weekend sale price which was buy 2 get 1 free. I even asked the employee and showed him where it said on the flyer what the deal was and he told me I was wrong because they were considered books not graphic novels. So I ended up paying $45 when it should have been around $30. Good product but I’m still very disappointed I got cheated on the sale price.

For once what I was looking for seemed like a decent price. Either way its a good source for used video games even if you pay a little more for them.

I dont hate it. Been taking my boys for years. When I had a problem with a game they refuse to give me a refund. I thought that was pretty unfair even though their policy clearly stated I was entitled to one.

I bought a game but didnt get it at the counter when I got the game case nor did I get a receipt. I bought it around 445-5ish. Am I able to get the game I paid for??! 😡

The best thing about vintage stock is the employees. The only knock I have on Vintage Stock is the employees. They are always friendly and they try to be helpful but they are often young and not very knowledgeable. I appreciate their efforts and personality. The store is clean and well organized. I also feel that I get fair prices for the items that I purchase. If you are looking for old movie, records, games or collector items, you should swing in and give them a browse.

I always love coming in here and checking out whats available. If you like comic books and old game consoles this is your destination. The employees are nice too and will try to help you find what you need. If you looking for something specific then call them first! They might not have it but another store might have it

If youre looking for a new or used game, CD, movie, game system, knick knacks - this is the place to go! I love going to get my used or new items there. I always find what Im looking for and its reasonably priced!

This location has a great selection of just about everything and I love that they had a chair to wait in while they worked on my offer (it was a Saturday and they were busy). The staff was friendly and helpful to my kids, whereas a lot of places just ignore them.

Was looking for a charger for my DSi Gameboy and this guy could not help me nor made an effort to try and find one for me. I literally had to ask if he could look for one in another store for me and this kid was clueless as to what he was even supposed to be doing! Horrible customer service if you ask me.

Unique shop with a mix of entertainment options spanning DECADES OF AWESOMENESS! I needed a random cable for a 30 year old gaming system, and they not only had one in stock, they had it waiting for me at the counter! Granted, I still took a good look around, but I could have walked in, paid, and been on my way in just over a minute! Will be back for more hard to find bits and bobs if I ever need them.

Over priced and low inventory

Its a good place to find games that hardtop doesnt sell you most likely will find a game with a lower price tag at game stop but if game stop doesnt sell it you can find it here along with alot of other stuff also vintage stock has posters games card games movies anything in interpreting for the geek side of you will find it at vintage stock

The store itself was mostly well stocked. I visited the shop to see if any records I wanted were on offer. The shop only had a meager selection of vinyl most of which was new. No digging through bargain bins here. Although not at all happy with selection of records I can appreciate the stores wide range of other collectibles too many things to accurately describe are available at Vintage Stock, Shawnee, KS.What gave me negative opinion of Vintage was the staffs complete lack of engagement. There was no inquiry as to what I might be there for. No one worker so much as greeted me! They just continued with conversation amongst themselves. I looked at what records were there. I decided to ask if there were other lps elsewhere in the store. There was an eyeroll and the least senior among staff dispatched minimize the bother I was causing with questions about things for sale in the store. I know the young was least experienced because his a only response to my question was I dont know I only just started recently I left. No reason to waste time where Im not wanted. I dont advise going to this store unless you have previous knowledge of all the inventory and pricing. The staff certainly isnt going to help with anything. Dont waste your time@

Great place to find movies and games at good prices. Has awesome collectables. The people who work there are nice and helpful. I love the one on Shawnee mission parkway. The one on Metcalf I avoid.
