I find cool stuff at Savers. I like upcycling things.

If youre looking for clothes, dont expect to try anything on. I desperately needed a pair of jeans but wasnt going to buy them without trying them on. I live 45 minutes away and happened to stop in. Much more convenient when I lived 15 minutes away.

Good inventory but too expensive and the music is absurdly loud.

My fiancee always drags me into here but I always somehow find something unique or useful when I come in, see you again next weekend! 😹

My BFF and I stopped by Savers on Shnwe Missn Pkwy. We were just spending time, chatting, catching up on current news. She was looking for a few items for the sweet little senior ctzn she takes care of. They had some good choices to pick from, fantastic prices. I found a book, I had been looking for. We had such a good time. The store was very clean, clothes were hung neatly & not crammed on the racks. The assoc., were very busy of couresearch, but when we asked a ?, they all were polite, helpful and helpful me reach items above my head as Im in a wheelchair. VERY, very pleasant afternoon. Thank you Savers employees....GREAT JOB!

There is a lot of stuff here! They have decor, sheets, shoes, clothes, books, some electronics and furniture. Our garage stereo started smoking, so we found another one at Savers. They also have a 25% discount for veterans!

Thrift shopping in KC is one of the most productive ways to go. I’ve been thrift shopping in several states and they are absolutely nothing like KC. There’s always brand new off season hardly used or worn items. People my complain about value, but when it comes to facilities like Savers in the Kansas City area, they are using quality control to pick out the best items out of peoples mysterious donation piles of who knows what. So I’m more willing to pay a little extra to not shift around in a tub of mystery to find things and later know their lack of functionality. I’m a big savers fan. If you donate items you can choose to get a 20% off coupon. And around holidays they do sales 30-50% off clothes etc It’s all about timing.

In years past, I would always find good stuff to buyNow they put out more old fashioned items in the clothing department. I havent found anything good in the handbag selection all year.The coats they put out January and February of 2020 were the same coats they had left over from the previous winter plus a few new donations. Not kidding! The selection was limited and they had a lot of coats that probably shouldnt be for sale because they were worn to such an extent.Do people just not donate good stuff anymore?I thought once they opened after the Covid shut down they would have tons of good stuff from people being bored at home cleaning their closets out. That did not happen.Its pretty much a bunch of tops that were made 10 or more years ago. And those are unexpectedly pricey!!The pants are okay, you can still find some good brands at reasonable prices.The dress selection has been pretty unattractive and old all year.The furniture selection could definitely improve. The Catholic charity on Metcalf has way better furniture selection.I honestly dont go to this location more than once a month even though I live less than 10 minutes away.Ive had way better luck with the selection at the Savers on Nall.

Always a treasure hunt at Savers. Never know what youre going to find. Cant really go shopping with something too specific in mind.Always clean, and courteous staff.

I shop most of the Savers in town and the Shawnee Savers seems to price toys, kids clothes and kids shoes higher than many of the others. You may want to shop around, especially for toys, before you buy at this Savers. Staff are pleasant.

My favorite store to go to, prices are great and their products are in good condition.

Went to find a gently used coach bag all we found were over priced and stained and overly damaged and turn with the nicer side out. I love savers but Im highly discouraged with the merchandise. I even watched a lady steal a telescopic ladder from the donation area.

A nice place to pick up a few cloths for the kids at a much lower price than you will pay at a typical retail store. Selection varies and some trips are much more productive than others. If you are in a hurry then this might not be the way to go since you are most likely going to spend some time sorting through racks looking for something that fits/works.

Many people have told me they like this place so much. I wasnt that impressed. There are many items at good prices, but nothing really pops out to me. The workers I saw were extremely friendly, though.

It is a great thrift store. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. It is pretty cool that you will get pretty significant discounts by donating items. Sometimes you can find clothing items that are quite literally brand new, with original paper tags, that have been donated by local stores.

They have a lot of options for discounted clothing and it is a clean place. A lot of good things for someone who needs cheap work pants or tops. Also saw some fun prom or formal dresses for the younger ladies.

I went in for a specific book. The large signage allowed me to find the book area quickly. Then the books were organized by genre, which made it easy for me to look quickly if they had the book I was looking for and they did. That was good.

Savers is a very good thrift store. The stuff they put out for sale that is clean and nice, sometimes even brand new. They are pretty selective about what goes out for sale. That means no garbage and usable items. Its not uncommon to find things here that still have store tags on them, or are in unopened packages. They a huge selection of clothing, but they also have electronics, books, music, videos, furniture, housewares and a good sized toy section. Sometimes the prices are a bit high, but you can get discounts if you donate stuff or use their store card. Overall, the store is clean, organized and well lit...it feels more like a normal department store rather than a thrift shop. A word of advice though: Be careful if youre driving up to donate stuff. The design layout wasnt very well planned and makes for a very tight turn. Larger vehicles will have trouble getting in for sure.

Savers is the most expensive thrift store around. They have a good selection but I often find items priced higher than the item was at original store. Not super friendly either.

I had never been to a savers before, so I wasnt sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find some Herb Alpert records ( $0.99 each!!!) and a windbreaker for less than $20. I will definitely be back!

At other thrift stores, their pieces are dingy and look like they are being sold 3rd rate rather than the newer conditions of the clothing at Savers. I found many cute shirts with great materials and throughly had a great experience and would come here again!

I like that they are earth friendly company - no more plastic bags. Awesome. They price most everything too high for thrift store. I would go only on a 50% off day. Otherwise I would spend so much time searching for the good deal ones. Perhaps I should hit clearance sections of department stores for brand new. When they first started their price were not the lowest but not high like these. :/ Savers, Please adjust the price and continue to be earth friendly company.

This Savers location doesnt seem to have the greatest selection. Olathe location is much better. But staff is pleasant enough and a good shopping experience. Just a little disappointed with what they had.

This location is definitely clothing heavy. I found several nice name brand pieces for my 4T toddler. Prices are steeper than Im used to at at thrift store, though everything on the rack was in good condition so I supposed you pay a premium for that service. Clean store, very nice staff, quick checkout experience.

This place is one of my favorite thrift stores. Ive always found the pieces I needed, be it for a new job or the renaissance fair. I even scooped up a great deal on a Kitchen Aid stand mixer here one time, you just never know what youll find!

Selection and staff are great, 5 star. 2 star is for prices. Prices are now unrealistic. Board games for $20-40 if they think its collectible. Novelty t-shirts that are well worn for $9.99. Why would you pay the same for pit stains as you do new?

I enjoy that there are really decent clothes and at very reasonable prices. I could have never walked out of even say WalMart with as much as I did today. Thank you!♡

If you are a bargain hound, you dont want to miss this store. I would call it an upscale second hand store. I purchased a current year, nearly new, Coach purse that retails at $420, for $25.

Moved to k.c. about a year ago ..went into savers looking for work clothes, much to my surprise they have anything and everything you could possibly need, from name brands such as under armor clothing, and new balance shoes ...and yes I found some great work clothes, and also some nice going out clothes as well for 1/2 the price as retail stores ..

This is the cleanest and friendliest store. I can always find something in here that I want. The inventory is always changing and I cant say enough about the staff. It must be a great place to work because everyone is always smiling and happy. Thank you

They always have a lot of employees .none of which wear name tags .and are not there. To help the customer but to follow women. Around their store making people feel as if there about to be pick pocketed the way they stay directly behind u in the isles. Trying to peep in your purse . Obnoxious

Wont shop here again. Bought 3 professional clothing items for work and after 1 day found the dress was ripped in the back. After a week and a half wore the pants for the first time, they were ripping at the seams as well. No one is checking the quality of these clothes that are priced $10 an item. Was told I couldnt return the pants because it was over a week. The manager told me they were better than goodwill but Ive never had a problem with torn clothing or management.

I have bought the majority of my clothe I have bought for furniture dishes garden shoes purses magazine you name it.Because .the prices are so reasonable I can afford to buy clothes and blankets for homeless and pet adoption centet

Very high prices on clothing and most other items. Make sure to bring your own bag! If you dont and want a bag they will charge you .10 for a paper bag. The guy putting out electronics got very upset that I wanted to plug something in to test it, I test each item. If it doesnt work it doesnt go on the shelf!. It just keeps getting worse and worse here

Not bad, I come here sometimes to find costumes for different events. The store is kept pretty clean and they have a great selection.

I was in dressing room at 8:50 pm. I was trying on my last shirt of an entire cart full of stuff and a woman very rudely says you need to exit the dressing room we are closing in 10 min. I’m trying to hurry and put my shirt back on and she just keeps repeating herself that I need to leave the dressing room.So I come out and leave my entire cart full back there. As I’m leaving I let another associate know I will never return here due to her being rude. She’s like oh you can go back there it’s ok. Ya right I said, the lady just kicked me out. I will take my business elsewhere.I would of been up front at 9 pm and was on my last shirt so you lost business over someone wanting to hurry out of work tonight. I had about $300 worth of clothes in the cart and I spend that much almost every 2 weeks.If you want to close at 8:50 then please post that. Rushing me out was not ok. I spent 2 hrs going through the store and clothes to leave with nothing and I don’t have time for another trip back

They are expensive. The stuff was given to them and they sale it like they bought it. City Thrift is way better, though they are high to. But at least they have 50 cents sales and $1 wrack and 50% off every weekend.

Youll be thrifting in a clean store. It does feel like prices have steadily increased, but you can still find some amazing deals. Plus, you can get up to 30% off if you make a donation before shopping.

I found some great items, but not so great prices. I shop other savers in the kc metro area and these prices seemed steeper. $13.99 for most dresses, $19.99 for a pair of old boots, $13.99 for a pair of pants I couldve bought on the target clearance rack for $6.

The girls on staff tonight are incredibly rude. It says online that the store is open till 10pm. We were in an isle when a girl started shouting we are closed! at us. No greeting, no explanation, just we are closed. When we tried to ask her about the hours, she just kept saying were closed over and over again till we left the isle. We went to a cashier to asked about the hours, she interrupted me mid speech to say its wrong, were closed. I dont care how much you hate your jobs, theres no need to be such horrendous HAGS.

Love this place. I found a sweater here with the origanal price tag at $200.00 for only $20.00 cant beat the deals I find here. Staff helps load larger purchuses and gives excellent service. They let you plug in and test out any electric powered items before buying to ensure they work properly.
