After 17 years of bringing our cars to Automaster, were now going to take our business elsewhere. In many ways Automaster has been great - professional and quick to respond to questions. But our most recent experience has revealed that good customer service doesnt hide poor servicing.We inherited an older Honda Civic and brought it to Automaster to have it inspected. It didnt pass because a hole in the body that needed repair. The desk rep showed us a single photo of what needed to be repaired and said to get it fixed and it would pass inspection. That is what we did, spending $600 at a body shop to fix that one hole. We immediately returned to Automaster to complete the inspection only to find out there were several other holes that needed to be repaired.The desk rep explained that the technician hadnt told him about the other holes during the first inspection. Yes, that was obvious but it doesnt change the fact that we got the repair done with the understanding that it was the only problem.In the end, Automaster was unwilling to own up to their mistake and were now going to find a new Honda dealer whose work is as good as their customer service.

After over 20 years of using Automaster (purchased 2 new CRVs and serviced there), I am looking to go elsewhere. They now charge $89 for tire change over (snows on, mounted, balanced). When I informed the man at check in that I was going elsewhere ( had a coupon for $49 changeover) he informed me that the other place was not reputable and would try to sell me something I didnt need. That has not been my experience (have been there 2x). Got the tires changed over for $53 with tax with coupon, regular price there is $60. I found the behavior of the check in man to be condescending and unprofessional and I find the changeover price at Automaster to be outrageous.

My BMW had a recall and it was the first time I took it to an actual BMW service center and what a difference! While my car was pretty roughed up from 10 years of use (and improper maintenance care at random mechanic shops)- Peter was so great. Honest, professional, skilled and very patient and understanding with my very busy schedule and not being able to pick my car up immediately. I will forever go to the Automaster!

We had an amazing experience leasing a new car from them. Unlike other dealerships around that are using the COVID-induced car shortage to hike prices and push high-end trims, The Automaster dealers were great. We were treated with respect and care. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and honest. They offered different options, but were not pushy about anything and really tried to get the best fit for my family. Communication was fast and efficient. All questions answered, even on a weekend. Very flexible scheduling - they really put a lot of effort to make the whole process seamless and stress-free.We worked with Natalie, but also talked in passing to a couple of other salespeople and they all seemed wonderful.Amazing experience overall - looking forward to working with them again in the future.

Beyond angry. I have never been treated so horribly. The service department is a joke. They are rude, do not communicate and I have a problem literally EVERY. SINGLE.TIME. I bring my car in for service. Call me crazy, but when you shell out money for an Mercedes, I expect to have exceptional care!

I have to give a shout out to the customer service in BMW parts and service. Had a crippling tire issue in remote Vermont that required Roadside Assistance (those guys were only marginally helpful - but thats another review). X2 was towed 1 hour away to the Automaster in Shelburne. Before it arrived, I was on the phone with Richard in parts, and just as well because tires needed to be shipped in. Richard got on it; found what we needed in Connecticut; had UPS ship them overnight and handed me off to Peter in Service. Peter got us in line quickly and what easily could have been a 48+ hour delay to our travels, was just a day. Awesome communication and more importantly, our problem also became their problem. Call this afternoon @12pm BMW services. BMW service lady who answer my call. I reported my car due for federal emission warranty under 80k mileages. I told her my job done @5pm and I will be there between 10-15mins late. She wait on phone & confirmed yes! you can come between (5:10-5:15)pm.When I got @BMW services within that time earlier by 5:15pm. One of the front desk lady said this is a services room. I enter the room & I waited few minutes. Again, she came in the services room & said we are closed @5pm.I was helpless! waste of time!! BMW services people are Liar!!! After my re-setting federal emissions light-on I’m planning to travel long distance but it was very bad experience.“When I come another days, to re-setting my federal emissions light-on, they will definitely gonna say, your not cover under warranty because your mileage clock 80k plus” You have to pay from pocket!!!I’m a regular customer. I hope in the future, It won’t happen again.

The Automaster - a real life saver! We were traveling on a Thursday from out of state with our kids touring colleges and were headed to UVM... when our battery light came on.... stopped by an autopart store and tested battery - it was fine. Suspected alternator. We called around and no one nearby could see us until Monday. We are an hour outside of Burlington. One call to Tiffany and she was SO helpful and sympathetic! She spoke with the mechanics and got us in within 2 hours as an out of state emergency. As we had 1,200 miles to go on this college tour, Automaster was a miracle that day! They had the parts, did the work that afternoon, and we were back on the road, after our UVM tour (GO CATS!). Very thankful for their service and there care they showed us.

Jerry in the service department was my saviour last Friday! I came from the Burlington airport en route to my home in Montreal, when the cold weather crippled my BMW over 3 weeks to the point it was not drivable. It was a busy Friday afternoon and Jerry went way above and beyond to ensure my car was repaired in hours and I was able to get back home the same day. He was a lifesaver! The facility and people at this establishment are 5 star all the way!

Although our experience purchasing a vehicle in 2016 was a good one, recently our experience with The Automaster has taken a nosedive - particularly regarding communication. I read the Google review from Jay Katon about 6 months ago which hits the nail on the head. They do not call back. Communication is a problem. Weve been trying to discuss gap insurance and other matters, but time after time my wife and I have been directed to leave message which are never returned. With little kids it is difficult to sit and wait on the line to discuss business and the stonewalling from The Automaster makes it that much harder.

We found a very nice used car and test drove it. We were able to finance it for a reasonable rate and the staff at Automaster were all great. Very relaxed, no sales pitch, and an easy process. We were able to drive the car home the same day. Only took a few hours to decide what we wanted and do the paperwork.

The service is exceptional, the personnel are interested in the customer. Jesse in Honda service is simply AMAZING. A tech had found my hub cap that had fallen off. He was on his way into work and noticed it.I had called Jesse when I noticed it was gone. He checked with the tech, car wash person and said it was not there. A bit later he called me back and a tech had found it in the grass,(his name escapes me).Thanks so much AUTOMASTER you are the best.

Automaster has serviced our 2010 Mercedes for ten years. They have always been prompt, courteous and helpful. John, their service manger, is excellent. When the initial order to purchase a 2020 Mercedes from Automaster was delayed by Mercedes in Germany due to CoVid 19, they helped to locate a similar car at another dealer. Our sales person Spencer was particularly helpful . Spencer is knowledgeable about the product as well as being courteous and efficient.

Disappointed is an understatement. I went to Automaster with a certain expectation from sales and service as I was told this would be a great experience. The communication and getting someone to call you back is a nightmare. Every time. The last time I had my vehicle in for service I had placed an order for all weather Mats. When I picked the car up I figured they would be put in, well they were. Thrown on the backseat on top of my dry cleaning. The back mats were having to be ordered. Totally fine. However I shouldn’t have to be the one to call 3 weeks later to find out if they have arrived. Then we have a flat tire and I was told it was caused by a plug. Well I’ve never had a plug and the only place that has ever serviced the vehicle was them so I asked maybe if it had happened before I purchased it? I was basically told that there are no notes so it couldn’t have happened here. Well maybe someone goes around at night and puts plugs in tires. They told me no loaners available and tire would be 3-5 days. Well I do work and don’t have an extra car so that won’t work. Then I called today at 815am and left a message because now we have a check engine light on. I’m sure I’ll be waiting a month before I can get it in but I actually don’t know because NO ONE CALLS BACK. This place is a joke

They had my car for over a week and replaced my battery, put on 4 new tires, and ran diagnostics on the computer. The rear light assembly had a recall to replace it. The garage manager told me it had been done before I purchased the vehicle. This was a lie as I had received personal communications from Mercedes about the recall, shortly after registering the car. $1200 for the work they did. Another $4800 in repairs (that doesnt include tax and labor). Some of the items just needed to be fixed but not replaced ($1400 for a throttle cable! I almost passed out!) but they insisted it would be too dangerous to drive. I was given a release of responsibility form to sign so I could drive my car home. Since then, I have found a mechanic who is completing the work for less than a quarter of what Automaster estimated and another dealer will be handling my recall. This place is run by crooks just trying to squeeze every cent out of you for nothing!

If I could give their BMW service dept 100 stars, I would. I guess 5 stars will have to do. Bought a CPO 320i from a out of state dealer and after 3 failed trips to have a issue resolved, I brought it to the Automaster. They fixed it correctly on the first visit. The term buy local now has a whole new meaning!

Not much sales experience to review, bought my car elsewhere. Service has always been easy, car always comes back cleaned nicely - they do a good job here.Recently had an issue with no officially supported fix from BMW. Automaster (specifically Peter) went to bat for me and got parts/labor covered to take a shot at fixing it per a proposed fix others online found that might solve it. I can definitely recommend this place.

This is the second bad experience with their service department.... first time I took my car in to have recall work performed and they cracked a trim piece on my dash. Said nothing about it and sent me on my marry way. This most recent time I had work performed and they neglected to re install the plastic protective cover underneath my car and also didn’t install a bolt in a metal cover which was left hanging from my vehicle. This would have all gone unnoticed if I hadn’t taken a look at my engine bay when I got home. I could see clear as day to the ground. Makes you wonder what else was not done properly. Their service department also decided to not call me at the end of day when my work was supposed to be complete. I understand if they needed more time but atleast communicate with me about that. It was until mid day the next day that I revived a text message. A 7 hour job took them 4 days...However Peter was understanding of my frustration and took action to remedy the issue.

So happy my husbands Christmas gift surprise! Making the downpayment for one of my most tangible, thus far, dream cars was an impressive surprise. I happily choose to make the monthly payments, because lets not be ridiculous... were in our early 30s, hes not my S.D.So happy he leaned onto my loyalty to Honda, and I was able to retire Rhonda the 08 Honda Accord, for my 2018 Touring! If it werent for him, I would have driven Rhonda to the 300k mile mark. He surprised me with a thoughtful life improving gift. It definitely makes life better, helping to negate the cons of a life consuming career.Choosing Automaster ensured great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and excellent mechanics that really take their time to answer questions, and offer honest advice! I havent had my appointment yet but I was a bit shocked that it takes 2 weeks to schedule an oil change. I did that and received 2 confirmation emails and a text. Later in the day I received a voicemail saying they couldnt do my confirmed appointment and would need to push it back at least 1 week. But as the lady on the phone said they are the only BMW dealer for hundreds of miles and I need warranty work so there isnt much I can do, short of driving to Manchester. Overall I dont believe this dealership lives up to a luxury brand and I am severely disappointed.One thing to note is that their sales hours are much wider than their service hours. Read into that what you want.Edit: After 3 appointments over approximately 1 month (initial oil change, missed appointment 1 week later, and final appointment 2w after that) the Automaster group is better than initially expected. While I still dont think a 1-2 week lead times to schedule an appointment represents luxury, the remainder of services and staff are great.One recommendation is day of text reminders. 1 week prior is fine but a week before is a long time.

The lot and show room are lovely. My husband and I went to look at CRVs. The salesman was very pushey and rude. He hung up on my husband when he called to follow up on our test drive. We ended up going to another dealer and got the same, exact same, CRV for 3k less. I have heard lots of good things about this dealership, perhaps we just hit it on a bad day.

This dealership is by far the worst to deal with for Honda service. I would not recommend this place of business to anybody I know and I hope other people find this helpful in search of new vehicle or Honda service. My 2018 Honda odyssey has multiple issues that to this day have not been corrected. I took my vehicle in for service 5 times so far with no resolve to my concerns. They have apparently thrown some parts at my van in attempt to fix it without any success. I didnt expect to get parts changers here. I have dealt with the shop foreman and service manager with no forward progress. After much frustration and patience I decided to contact American Honda customer service to discuss my issues with the van and service. customer service finally got back to me and advised me Automaster Honda felt they have spent a lot of time trying to figure out what is wrong with my van they wish to no longer look at it because they unsure whats wrong with it and requested I take it to the selling dealer. customer service told me they are not required to work on it because they are independently owned and operated. I have never in my life heard of dealer throwing there hands up In the air and say I dont know whats wrong with it. they didnt even pursue getting a field rep involved to help them with diagnosis. From my experience with this service team is they lack the ability, training and knowledge to diagnose vehicle problems, maybe better at fluid changes. I hope that this dealership at some point can invest in some training to gain knowledge to provide better repair procedures and customer service.

Jenna and Liz gave us a great price on a CPO 3 Series wagon, prepared the financing, warranty and service coverage options very professionally, completed the paperwork and worked with us by email and mail if necessary. Automaster Honda made it exceptionally easy for me to address recent airbag recalls on my familys two cars. The service manager I worked with (I think his name is Todd) arranged a rental car at no cost when the parts were delayed overnight, and had the job done first thing in the morning. Both cars came back cleaner than they went in (sorry about the mud...). The staff took great care of us and didnt try to pressure us into other services, even though we have zero history with the dealership and they were probably not making anything from our visits for these recalls. Their approach makes it easy to come back in the future. Thanks for your help!

Mini service staff are great, knowledgeable, but its gonna cost you to maintain this car beyond warranty.I had my copper for about 8 years and I believe I paid for it twice in all the breaks and repairs I needed post warranty.Now I drive a Japanese import.

Mercedes-Benz service. Made an appointment 2 weeks ahead for the 30th @ 8:15 am(oil change), expecting that they will finish by nood. Called them around 13:00, they told me that soon they will pull it in Garage. Got a text @17:12 that my car is done and that they close @17:30(very informing). Car service its good, but guys why you make appointments, why they exist? So, you can get my car done at 17:00.well, looks like you need to work on that, and maybe next time i will leave you a better review.

My fiance and I just leased a Honda Civic through The Automaster and the experience was great. Being a recent college graduate, and this being our first new car, we were nervous. We showed up and took a test drive. We worked with Jay and he was great about listening to our needs and desires. Jay worked hard to get a deal for us that we couldnt refuse. They werent pushy at all, and worked very hard to get the deal within our desired budget. Four years ago I bought a pre-owned BMW from a private seller. My predecessor bought the car new from Automaster and always had it serviced there, so I took it there myself - first just for a once-over, but they gained my confidence so I have continued to rely on them for all my services. I admit that as a first-time BMW owner, I was fearful of what it might cost to maintain, but I have become a convert. It helps that the car itself is the best car Ive ever owned, but more important is that dealing with Automaster has been an absolute pleasure. They are honest, reliable, reasonable with their labor charges, and more than competent. Ethan, in particular, has delivered impeccable service and when things are not perfect, such as a delay in a repair, he has always risen above and beyond my expectations to ease any inconvenience. The BMW side of the Automaster is MUCH better than the Benz or Land Rover. The Benz side has Lots of old guys selling cars that they dont drive themselves. No passion for the product. The service department is better than the Audi dealer up the road and they are quick to give you a loaner car which I never got from the Audi dealer. All in all buy a Honda or BMW from Automaster and you will be happy.

At first we thought we had a good experience. However a few weeks after Automaster Honda service put on winter tires and a month or two after they had done a full inspection of our vehicle, our axle blew on a long out of state trip to visit family over the holidays. Our Honda had less than 60K miles on it and was in excellent condition. We were stranded in our car that would not drive with our young kids in the car. We got our car repaired locally with another shop (not Automaster) and since then the car is working better than it ever has.5/16/2019: had urgent issue w our car but our trusted local mechanic was booked for weeks so we had no option but to go to Automaster Honda service who could take the car right away and are the only major Honda dealer in the area. They fixed the issue but then after fixing it they said the car was making a “roaring” sound that needed an extra $300 to fix. Our car never made a roaring sound before taking it to automaster. We picked up the car expecting to hear this sound but never did. The car sounded normal and worked fine. I’m glad we didn’t pay $300 for something that we didn’t need.

I recently noticed issues with my Honda. I called The Automaster and was instantly set up with an appointment that same week. The service department was friendly and helpful. They even asked me what time I would like my car finished by that day! They have shuttles and can give you a ride to work, town, etc. My car was thoroughly inspected and fixed. I will absolutely return to The Automaster for any of my cars needs!

So far, unimpressed. Said they would diagnose vehicle today when we dropped it off and would give us a call. The phone call never happened and after spending an hour trying to get through leaving multiple messages the call was dropped by reception. Promises not kept is a red flag. If service improves I will happily update my review.

The limited experience I had with them was awesome. Up for the day and car started having issues. Stopped in and talked with them about what was going on. They offered to read the Check Engine Light code, no charge. Ended up being no big deal, but they were really helpful.

I had a wonderful experience with the service department. My convertible BMW M3 needed the driver side airbags changed so I could import it to Canada (My vehicle was affected by the nationwide Takata airbag recall and Transport Canada doesnt allow importation of a vehicle with an open recall). Ethan was my service advisor and he did everything he could to make this a positive experience. He quickly ordered the part after I initially spoke to him and followed up for the appointment as soon as they received it. Then, when I was on site, It took about an hour over lunchtime to do the work. As a bonus, they also washed my car free as part of their service. Last, Ethan followed up to ensure the recall got cleared quickly in BMW North Americas recall system. As a result I was able to import my car quickly after its service.Bottom line: I have no hesitation to recommend The Automaster for servicing a BMW. Ethan followed through the entire process to make this as pleasant an experience as could be. Thanks Ethan!

I just recently went up to have my car serviced. They were nice enough to give me a loaner car which was a brand new BMW. That is a nice feature with this place they take good care of you as a customerWe have bought two cars from them one was an Infiniti in the other one is a BMW both very nice cars had very good luck with them. Ethan is especially good in the service department very helpful and on top of things. All in all my husband and I have been very satisfied with everything that has taken place at the automaster.

My partner and I were shopping for cars. This dealership (Honda) was our last stop of the day, and we had originally planned on getting a Honda CR-V. It was unbelievable how much better our experience was here. Were only in our early 20s and didnt get much respect until coming here. The salesman we worked with, Dave, was very polite, nice, and helpful. He gave us all the information we needed, took us on a test drive with no issues, and made us feel excited about the car. It was immediately clear that this was where our business was going. We got a fair price on the new car and a decent trade in value for the old car. We havent used the service dept yet, but the complimentary free car washes are nice. We would do business here again.

I bought a car here from the Honda side a couple years ago. Process for me was super quick and easy, I got a great price on the new car and a great price on my trade-in, and they didnt try to hassle me and add any unnecessary extras. Sales people were respectful of my time and cut straight to the chase instead of running me around which I felt a lot of the other dealerships in the area do.

I should start out by saying Parts and Scheduling departments are great people - always friendly and helpful, and I have no experience with sales, nor the Mercedes or Honda aspects of the business. BMWs quality of mechanics, though, has taken a nose dive in recent years. Weve had several BMWs that weve had serviced here, and they just cant seem to get it right. Theyve broken things and not mentioned it to us that they should be replaced. They left one of the hoses of our fuel filter, which they also kinked, improperly secured because they broke the quick clip and left it without mentioning anything, and they failed to install half of the screws that secure the protective plastic in place. They mounted a tire on the wrong rim (staggered fitment set - narrower tire on wider rim luckily noticed by us before use. They had the nerve to tell us they wouldnt charge us for THEIR mistake), and they failed to check our brake lines during an inspection. Luckily when we had to replace the leaking fuel filter, we noticed the condition of the brake lines - the vehicle should never have passed inspection with the lines as corroded as they were. Super dangerous. I wouldnt trust the BMW Service here for anything, and its only a matter of time before some gets seriously injured or worse because of their carelessness!! *Edited to correct inaccurately listed parts, clarify details, and provide additional specifics.

I had my rug replaced under warranty here in my 2017 civic because the rug was separating from the center console (factory defect). When I got my car back after they replaced the rug, there were marks and scratches left on my center console where they used the tool take out my center console to replace the rug along with scratches around the shifter. I was displeased with the negligence and lack of care when I am someone who is meticulous about taking care of their car.

Today, The Automasters Honda Service Department totally exceeded my expectations. This was indeed a tall order as Ive been a satisfied customer of the dealership since 1995, having obtained a number of new vehicles since then. I wont detail what necessitated service on my Accord, but the timing of the issue was problematic for me. My service contact, Steve Cooley, addressed my needs with courtesy and professionalism and with more than just a bit of accommodation to get the issue fixed and me back on schedule. My kudos to Steve and the entire Honda Service members who helped remind me why The Automaster is my go to place for servicing my car.

We have always owned one car purchased from Automaster Honda. Their service team is great. The sales team is excellent. Pressure free, relaxed, patient. When it is time to buy a new car, we always say lets try another dealer. After visiting the alternative dealerships we always come back to the Automaster.Story time: One service visit they reviewed our service history, noticed 2 years prior we were in for similar issue and said it was too soon to be back and the new service would be free!!We just bought our second Honda in 2 years! Our 4th and 5th Automaster vehicles. Why you ask? Well, after experiencing the other dealerships (owning other makes), this dealership is fantastic.
