This is a small bookshop, and not really worth the 20 minute drive from Burlington. There is a generous selection of kids books, so if you have kids it might be a great place to browse for books! But otherwise I didn’t find the stock too exciting. Phoenix books offers a much better selection.

My favorite bookstore in the world. I am from VT and left after school to chase work. When I come home to visit, I love to stop. I have Never had a bad recommendation, and was recommended some super reads. Thank you for your service FPB!

Theyre so helpful, always have wonderful reading suggestions for my elementary age daughters, and go above and beyond with their customer service. Went in with a group of kiddos after a hike was postponed due to the rain. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful in helping us find books to read aloud. Then gave our group free bookmarks! Would definitely come to check out their selection again!

I love this book shop, theyre so sweet and helpful, I love going in and saying I need a present for a Terry Brooks fan and they know exactly what to reccomend. Been going to the store for about 20 years and I keep going even though Ive moved back into the Mountains.

What a beautiful bookstore! This little gem is nestled in the heart of Shelburne Village and will capture your attention and creativity the moment you step inside . Filled with books and stories just waiting to unfold, it is worth the visit.In my case, Elizabeth (the owner) was SO kind as to delay closing time for me so that I might purchase my beloved #JohnChurchman childrens (and grownup!) books about little bottle lamb #SweetPea and her friends. Without this kindness, my great grand-nieces might have missed out! Such gratitude for her and her little slice of heaven ~ a beautiful energy!
