Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Their pastries are delicious and their coffee menu has a ton of options.

My wife was in town a few weeks ago and got a coconut dream latte. She saved me a taste and wow was it good. She was back today and brought 3 home. They are so good and hit my sweet tooth just right. We have been to both locations in the past and have been very happy with our experience. Thanks so much.

My son recovering from neck surgery wanted a chocolate milkshake, I purchased it there and it looked wonderful took it to him Hes home convalescing.

Very disappointed. Where do I start, no public restrooms which makes no sense for an establishment that serves food to the public. They say they serve Tonys ice cream, out of chocolate wanted to make my shake with vanilla and syrup which ruins Tonys ice cream. Out of strawberry. So finally ordered two butter pecan cones with 2 scoops. Sad excuse for a 4.00 ice cream cone less than half the amount of ice cream I have ever had anywhere. Ordered sweet tea the girl squirted sweet syrup used for flavored coffee in the cup and filled with unsweetened tea. This was my first and last visit.

Great coffee and atmosphere! This a very great place to chill out or get some work done if you need to! The barista couldn’t have done a better job and was very kind. This is will become a regular part of my day.

I have been here twice and have had a great experience each time. The Employees that served me were very friendly. During my first visit, I was brave enough to try the Mexican Coffee and it was decent even though spicy coffee is not my thing. However, I would recommend this beverage for people who love spicy foods/drinks. During my second visit, an employee recommended the London fog and it was pretty good. If you are looking for a great place to either meet up or do homework, this is it.UPDATE: After a few more visits, I would recommend the Caramel Delight Ice Coffee or Latte.

I was passing through town while on vacation and decided to make a quick coffee stop. I’m so glad I did! The atmosphere was so cool and relaxed, and my barista, Savannah, was friendly and efficient. She made me a honey lavender latte! I can’t get that at a big chain coffee shop! I would recommend LilyBean to anyone.

What a cute, quaint, comfortable place. I love the fact they have a selection of healthy snack foods. An added breakfast selection would go great here, like quiches, egg pizzas, fruit etc. I got their signature coffee, which she was able to make it less sugar and lite for me. As I waited, several people walked in and were greeted with friendship...the regulars. From their atmosphere I could tell theres a lot of returning business. I instantly fell in love with this place.

I was in town for a wedding from Atlanta and had never been to this cute little town. When you think about cute little towns, do you think about where people meet up or if there is anything to do? This place is THAT place. Super cute and the coffee is great! Friendly staff and I love how there were so many regulars during my quick stop. They must keep returning for some reason! If I lived here, I would, too!

1st time in. Not familiar with Shelby so when l asked for a coffee shop near me LilyBean came up. Savannah waited on us and she was very friendly and her lattes were excellent! Great place to visit and well definitely go back the next time were in Shelby.

My girlfriend and I visited Shelby for an event and went out looking for coffee on the square - we were fortunate enough to stumble into LilyBean for breakfast and a dark roast and got to talk with the owners about shelby and their shop. GREAT coffee, GREAT place, beautifully decorated, GREAT food and wonderful people. We will make this a regular spot for us every time we come to town.

Great little coffee shop! Nice ambient atmosphere, and the barista was very nice and very accommodating. I had the coffee of the day (cant remember the name) and it was a good cup of coffee. Everything seemed fairly priced as well. Great spot if you need some time to work and a solid cup of coffee!

Best coffee ever in terms of both quality of the beans and how the coffee is made; the flavor is spot on! I got their ground beans as a gift to use with my french press and it made wonderfully fresh tasting coffee for days. Their shop is really cute too and very far from corporate. I got the Mexican coffee recently and it was made perfectly and with care. The barista was patient, considered exactly what I had in my mind and delivered something even better! I cant wait to try their cold brews, muffins and CBD honey sticks. Ive promised myself to visit LilyBean every time Im in town, as a treat to myself!

Im lucky enough to be able to take a short walk to LilyBean almost every day and the coffee never disappoints. So now they have added Tonys Ice Cream which we used to have to travel to get! Dont miss a chocolate malt or the banana pudding ice cream if your lucky enough to be there when its available.

Ive been here twice and each time the staff has been super friendly and helpful. I love the cold brew and enjoyed a donut hole with my morning coffee. Music is kept at a nice volume for work and socializing.

Lily Bean has been a great option for coffee in Uptown for years...and I love that theyve added Tonys ice cream this summer! Its so nice not to have to drive to get locally-made ice cream, and its fun to be able to mix it with coffee for all kinds of tasty treats.

This shop offers a good variety of coffee and tea beverages. The atmosphere is second hand furniture, and very comfortable, especially with the free wi-fi.The menu could use a bit of explanation in terms of exactly what some of the beverages are (buttered coffee is called something strange--Bulletproof??). The coffee itself was delicious, and the treats looked yummy. A great stop in downtown Shelby for some freshly roasted coffee.
