Amazing first experience for my little one! Went in as a walk-in first thing Monday morning for a problem over the weekend. They were very welcoming, got us back fast, and we were seen within a few minutes.What a great place!

I have been a patient of Dr. Shep Hamrick for many years and have always been pleased with the service that he provides. He is very caring and gives the most complete eye exam available. He is always willing to take the time to answer any questions that I have. Even though i now have to see a glaucoma specialist. I still see Dr. Shep for my glassed checkup because of the time he takes for that exam.

Lost my glasses tubing down the river while visiting NC, and this office was so quick to accommodate a contact lens exam the following day. Staff is super friendly and Dr. Hamrick got me my vision back, so I could see my way back home to TX. Thank you!!! A+++!!!

This practice will charge you for upgrades you did not get and then charge the insurance for the same upgrades along with other upgrades you did not get at all!!! . So they get paid twice for the same service. When you ask them about the bill, they come up with some explanation for why the charge. Like Reflective coating is the same as scratch coating. They Are Not the same. Look it up in the dictionary. My insurance company and I were overcharged all the way around!!! If you want to keep your money, Do not go to them!

More words of praise to this team - Professional, caring, service above self - Dr. Street Hamrick came in on a Sunday to render aid and remove a metal fragment that had snuck past my safety glasses and lodged in my eye (what amateur automotive restoration project would be complete without a trip to a doctor?) Steady healing hands removed the sliver and then polished out the rust present in the blink of an eye. Courteous and gentle. Can not thank the entire team enough. A blessing to Shelby, Cleveland County and surrounding areas. I was not even a patient there. To go out of his way like that, on a Sunday when they do not have scheduled office hours, saving me from an emergency room visit - as I said, awesome. I am very grateful - Thank you Dr. Hamrick.

Sitting around for 45 minutes after my appointment time and there was only 1 other patient... I asked what was taking so long oh I dont know... well how much longer I dont know... walked out and will be finding a new eye doctor.

Very slow took them 2 hours to do a exam then waited a month they never called about having my glasses when I called they said oh we have had then then I get there ny bifocals are not right and they do not want to fix them cause I have medicaid not happy will not go back

Outstanding service.There was an issues with a pair of sunglasses I ordered and not only did they make it right but they upgraded my lenses at no cost to me. They have a large selection of glasses and sunglasses as well. If best in class service is important to you, then do yourself a favor and shop locally.

When I returned to Dr. HAMRICK on October 26 he found a hole in my retina. His staff made a appointment for November 17. The retina is very sensitive a needs to be treated immediately. 4 weeks is dangerous because scar tissue can build up around the hole causing very serious problems. After much research I confronted the receptionist again and she made another appointment with another doctor in Charlotte for November 9. That is 2 weeks untreated. So I took it upon my self to find another Dr in Greenville SC. Who will see me on November 4. I called Hamrick office again to cancel the appointments and was told the doctor was recommending me to the best folks he knew. Sure he was, they all work for the same practice. Another good old boy network. I researched eye specialists SC. So if you want something done right you got to do it yourself. These Cleveland/Morganton eye care folks may be good. But they sure were not interested in helping me with my emergency. 1 star for non performance

The girls in the office were so kind, helpful, and down to earth. They made our visit great. Dr. Street Hamrick was also amazing and very thorough. They all, as a team, went above and beyond our expectations. I’m so thankful we switched to Cleveland Eye Care. 😊

12/27/19 - Managed to lose my everyday glasses so called in and spoke to Savannah who told me to come on in and they would help me out with a new pair. Found a pair I liked and Savannah took the time to adjust the frames to make sure the fit was going to work for me. I know I paid a little more than I could have gotten a replacement pair for on one of the online stores, but having that personal touch, getting the glasses dialed in for me perfectly is definitely worth the extra!Lost my glasses in the lake so called these guys and they worked me in the same day! Even working me in they took me back at appointed time. Courteous, efficient and hometown friendly service beginning to end.They took the time to explain my insurance and how it worked which I couldnt even get the insurance carrier to do.They have a nice selection of frames and are willing to take the time to make sure you get what you need at a price point that works for youDid I spend a little more than what I could have gotten glasses for at the impersonal big box stores? ...probably. Do I feel I got a great value? Absolutely!

Dr. Street is very thorough in examination and explanation of my vision and examination. I have learned more about my eyes since coming to Cleveland Eye Care than I have in 20 years of been seen at other offices. Savannah is also a rock star that takes very good care of you!

Absolutely the best Optometrist in town!!! They are very prompt and get you in at your appointment time . Dr. Street has a wonderful personality and was amazing with my autistic son . He was so nervous about having his eyes checked and when we left he was so excited about his glasses that he couldnt wait to get them!! Ive been going to another practice for 25 years and always dreaded going to the eye doctor. Im so happy to have found this practice so that I dont have to dread it anymore. I cant say enough good things about this place!!!

I was very pleased with my eye exam and I really liked Dr. Street. But when I asked for my PD I was told I would have to pay an extra $30 for it. In my opinion your PD is part of your prescription and you shouldnt have to pay extra for it. No one is going to dictate to me who or where I can get my glasses from.

Today, my husband and I visited Cleveland Eyecare, as we do every year. The staff and doctors are always friendly and helpful. They take the time to explain the procedures and talk about any options that may be appropriate for our situation. We always leave feeling well informed about our eye care and with comfortable contacts and eyewear. Great atmosphere!

So, I had never been to the eye doctor before. These people made me feel much more comfortable. The doctor was nice and reassuring. The lady helping me pick out eyeglasses was helpful, even if she didnt know they were really called leopard skin frames (haha).

I arrived here having come from a bad experience a year ago at another Shelby business. I found the office to be pleasant and quiet, the staff to be engaged and warm, the pricing to be quick and reasonable, and the doctor to be efficient and thorough. I can only recommend - highly - that you consider Cleveland Eyecare if you need an eye exam in Shelby. I will be back.

Dr. Street helped me so much by figuring out my blepharitis.. was actually an autoimmune condition of my eyelids. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and quality of care at this practice. Well priced and they know how to work with your insurance for your best interest.

I was having a hard time with the center I had been going to. Had to wait 3 weeks for a appointment, go to one of their other offices and then on appointment day the doctor was not there because of a emergency. I called Cleveland Eyecare and ask if they could get me a appointment. They made me one for the next day. Thanked them and told them what I had been through. I love the fact this place will be open on one Saturday of the month! They ladies that work here were so nice! My vision insurance would not come up....ugh but they ended up working with me. The eye doctor here is beyond nice and super caring. They ask you lots of questions to make sure they get everything right with your vison. I will defiantly be back and would recommend this place to anyone. I use to go to lenscrafters and it was just okay but this place is very personable. They talk to you and call you by name.

I had a great first-time experience visiting Cleveland Eyecare on 8-19-19 after a friend’s recommendation. Dr. Street Hamrick was professional, friendly, and prompt. I was interested in trying hard contacts but after a thorough examination with much discussion on the pros and cons, he suggested I try a particular type of soft contacts. The first pair didn’t work so we tried another. I haven’t worn contacts in 15 years but I believe I’ll be able to wear them again after Dr. Hamrick’s specIfic suggestions. We discussed, at length, the health of my eyes, particular issues identified from photos of my eyes, and what I might expect as I age. He answered all of my questions about my eyes and my contacts in language I could understand. All of the assistants/technicians at the front desk were also very friendly and professional. They gave me good, knowledgeable answers and advice about insurance, deductibles, and fashionable eyeglass suggestions! I look forward to continuing my relationship with this clinic for many years.
