Submitted a print job and Sammy was super helpful and got it done within 30 minutes right before closing! Will definitely be back for future printing services :)

Not only is the store dusty and nasty but there self service print never works and the employees are rude when you ask a question. They never put out of order signs on the printers when they don’t work and just leave you standing there like you were supposed to already know they were out of order. Your Shelby location needs to do better in and be retrained on how to run a store properly, customer service and all the above. Probably just need to hire a whole new staff and managers or just shut it down one.

Totally disgusted printed online have the email it was completed and paid for forgot so three weeks later I finally get there and the young girl basically says well we toss them after a few weeks and no pick up. Well that’s great to share. So paid for a printing order, showed her the email as such and still leave without my material. Lucky I don’t waste my time with corporate America or else someone would know of such unethical practices

Store is always empty of customers. Never has advertised sale items. Computer center will rip you off on unnecessary repairs

Good selection of office supplies and at times surprisingly good deals. I purchased a Brother printer from them that I had researched online and thought that Amazon was going to be the best price but they were $50.00 dollars cheaper. Great service and friendly staff are well worth your time to visit.

The Shelby location never keeps things stocked and refuses to take down displays...The gentlemen working today Im assuming store manager is rude and doesnt help his employees....I see now why all the Shelby business drives to Gastonia. GUESS enough complaints corporate will wake up.

Nice clean store, and friendly staff. However exiting is a little bit of a challenge as they have the register right beside the exit door. Not too much fun to have to wait for everybody else to in the register line to check out before you can exit out the only exit door in the whole store. But overall was a good place to shop and well-organized.

Highly recommend the printing guy, Jeremy. He went out of his way to help me when staples messed up a simple cutting job. Moving forward, I will always get my personal printing and my companies printing needs done at this OfficeMax! Jeremy, Thank you so much!

Not a bad store. Clean and well stocked, decent selection. A good bit more expensive than online shopping for the same items but conveniently located in Shelby when you cant wait for shipping.

Seem to have a variety of products to choose from but the staff working the sales floor area arent very knowledgeable about the products they offer for sale,so my suggestion make sure you yourself know what exactly you want prior to your visit youll be fine. Cashiers at check out always been very pleasant and quick.

The staff is very helpful and the store is always clean. The printing service is top notch. My wife needed copies for a new job on short notice. I called Office Max, emailed the documents, and they had everything waiting for her when she got there 15 minutes later. She was in and out in under 3 minutes. Im doing 4 stars instead of 5 because of the location. The store is hidden from the highway.

Easy services counter. Makes even the most stressful interface a breeze. Very user friendly and staff is friendly and supportive whether youre an old hand at technological correspondence or whether you find emailing and faxing to be stressful .... They make everything clear concise and efficient

Complete Fail..Online said they were out of stock, I sent a worker to the store and they had everything, after a dozen calls I finally got through to the store rep who said the online is a corporate issue and they cant assist. What a waste of time, now I see why everyone just goes straight to Amazon. The store employees couldnt care less and dont even bother to answer the phone. I wont shop here again

Friendly employees. I have reasonably pleasant experiences with the printing department almost every time I use their services. Even though i usually arrive at busy times of the day, the customer service is still quick and helpful.

Here in Shelby, NC recently 2 different days and 2 different visit i needed to fax documents to Raleigh, NC and both times each cashier tried to attempt to charge me long distance price....I called the Office Max in in Gastonia and spoke the Mgr. there to verify what my fax destination was consider and she told me local and anywhere in NC is local.....so why is this Office Max always trying to overcharge me.

Horrible customer service!! I went yesterday to buy a universal laptop charger after I went to Wal-Mart earlier to get one that did not work for my computer...I called to OfficeMax and asked them could I bring my laptop to test it once I buy it to make sure it works Ruby a customer service representative told me sure they could do that for me...I get there with my laptop and once I purchased the charger I asked Ruby where could I test it at so I will not have to make two trips 15 miles one way to bring it back...she then asks I guess a manager could I test it and he said no and there was no where I could after telling me on the phone I could...well the charger does not work! Gotta return it!! Terrible customer service and very misinformed on info! I am surprised they still in business with their high overpriced items!!

I hate to be rude, but this store drives me crazy!! They have a great selection and good prices, but every employee I meet seems to be absolutely miserable, all of the time! They are reluctant to help, have attitudes, or try to help but dont know enough about the store/their products to answer any questions. I usually avoid coming here, just because I always feel so unwelcome.

Worse customer service ever. Was greeted by someone who then immediately switched me to another manager who took about 20 minutes and never got back to me. I left angered at the crappy service. Had no problems before but this time I had brought a friend and it was her first time being there, we had been waiting in line for a long time waiting for service when a gentleman who just came in the door and stood there was asked if he needed help. We complained to the lady that was busy with the customer ahead of us and she apologized and said said the other person was sending something FedEx, my problem with that was no one asked us, I mean we could have had FedEx as well. I was disappointed because I brought my friend there from SC and I could have gone elsewhere

I was told I could call over the phone and get my cards printed and ready at anytime. When I call two days before I am told a totally different thing. So, I went along with same day service to be done over the website. Only to see no option for two sides which I need two sided business cards. I call again th talk to the same employee only to be told yeah theres no option for two-sided business cards. Omg!!!! Im infuriated. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and help.

Cory at the design/print counter is AWESOME. He was super helpful and polite when I went in to print my wedding invite and rsvps. He was even polite and respectful when some angry black lady stormed up to demand that he finish her flyer immediately as she needed it done today despite the fact that shed only come in at ten that morning. Having been told she would be able to see a proof of her work at 8, she decided that meant the entire project would be completely finished and ready for pickup. She was rude and disrespectful and used foul language towards myself and poor Cory when I innocently observed that she should have brought the project in days ago if shed known she needed it today. She even demanded that he give her stuff back... Even though shed emailed her photos and requests to officemax... (???) Like I said, Cory was polite through the entire exchange even when the lady stormed out of the place. He helped me with my every need and answered every question I had knowledgeably. Many thanks dude!

First if you encounter an woman named. Angela just leave.. Dont even waste your time.. You vare better off driving to Gastonia.. I will never step inside again. terrible
