Went today and bought 2 pies ( I had two gift certificate for 2 pies). In a nutshell I would rather have just donated the 30.00 to the cause! The blueberry pie was so pale it didnt appear to be fully baked, so skimpy on blueberry filling, more gelatin than blueberry..it was terrible. The cherry crumb pie was just as skimpy and tasted pretty bad. I bought pies years ago and they were good, what happened?

I bought a blueberry crumb pie at the farmers market in Newtown and it was DISGUSTING!! The blueberry filing was non existent and the crumb topping was overwhelming and too sugary.....extremely disappointing and will NEVER buy their pies again! Overpriced and not worth it!

We bought a peach pie and blueberry pie at the Wilton Farmers Market, each for $15. Both had too much dough, very thick on bottom and top. The fruit tasted good, what little there was. The peach pie was especially skimpy. I will not spend my money again on Oronoque fruit pies.

Excellent pies! Both fruited and cream pies. A number of varieties were just coming out of the oven.Theres also a gift shop there with a lot of unique items to choose from.A little hard to spot from the road, so keep your eyes open.

This is the best hometown pie spot around, super friendly service, fresh pies and you could pronounce the ingredients!

We have been coming to oronogue for years. They have the best pies in Ct. Their apple, pumpkin and cherry crunch are to die for. Their cream pies are made fresh. Never walked out with less than three pies.

Their pies are to die for! Big selection of pies, apple cider donuts, as well as some clothes and lots of collectibles.

You will not find a better apple crumb pie anywhere else. Great prices and a super friendly staff with tons of other items to choose from in their store other than pie. A must try!

If you like pie this is the place to buy them. The apple crumb pie is to die for. They also have delicious fudge. They also have a store attached that has jewelry, clothes and home decorations.

The fresh apple pie was delicious. But getting into the place was dangerous. The railings are old & rickaty concrete was all broken up and no handicap ramp.I was glad my husband who was able to get in the store to buy a pie told me the pies are shipped in & baked on premises cause it didnt look to clean from the out side. I havent been that lately & I always used to go there to buy my holiday pies. The building is old & delapalated so be careful. They would do well to close that place & open a small new clean place to buy pies & the fudge that make.

Very nice people, really clean and nicely displayed inside. Great food, great decorations. Highly suggest checking out.
