What a great place with great people. I called to get a bottle over the phone so my mother who was there on vacation could pick it up. They were super polite on the phone and wonderful to my mom. Can’t wait to actually get to go to their store sometime. Thank you.

I like to come in here for the massive selection that they have in liquors and wines. This is a beautiful store in the heart of Sheridan with just about anything alcohol you could ask for. If you want to sort through a great selection, definitely come here.

This is my favorite store in town as I love its selection and variety of wines as well as liqour and cold beer and coolers. The extras such as food and mixer accessories it can be a one stop shop for your eveningor weekend event plans.

Great selection and friendly, knowledge staff. These 2 things would be worth the 5 star rating alone, but it gets better. Walk through the store to the joint business called the The Tasting Library and you can try more than 50 different varieties of Scotch, American whiskey, and wines from all over the world! It may seem a little confusing at first but they explain it to you and its so easy! You simply add funds to a drink card then select any libation that looks interesting that day. Its self serve and you can choose from 3 different portion sizes. I tried 4 different whiskeys for the first time, including a Pappy Van Winkle 23 year old!!!They have a great selection of cheese and meats to accompany the vast selection of wines too!In summary, I only wish I traveled through Sheridan more often as this gem would be a regular stop. This place was recommended by the lad down at the Ridles that doesnt sell beer or wine. Impressive selection of wine. The beer coolers are few, but offer some surprising variety. I picked up a sour, as they are not too prevalent across this state. I was not disappointed!

Large variety of alcohol and mixers! There was a sample person in store when I was there. The staff is super friendly, helpful and can answer any questions you may have. Well stocked and clean too.

Just not my type of bottle shop. There seems to be a trend here towards the most marketable items with the best profit margin balance while ignoring the special and unique. Just my opinion, its a fine shop- just not my kind.

The tasting library is top notch. Great variety and atmosphere. The liquor store has an amazing selection. Go there if youre on a date or looking for libations.

This liquor store probably has the best wine selection in Sheridan. I like the beer selection too. The staff are usually helpful for suggesting drinks.I am surprised that Im not seeing a separate business listing for the Tasting Room. A great addition to Sheridan!

I have shoped Star liquor in the past, spending hundreds of dollars in the store in just december alone, I was in there today and had and experience that i felt was uncalled for! I went in looking for a unique whisky, as i know they have a variety, i do spend alot of time, reading bottles and looking at prices. I noticed an asian guy starring at me and kept walking by, after he had done this several times, every store employee began to come by, i was never out of eyesite from one of thier employees! I even caught one peeking around the corner from the cash register as i was looking at the expensive whiskys! As soon as i noticed her, i knew i had been singled out as a threat of theft! I make more than enough to buy what i need, and to any whiskey or wine conosure, i say this is the worst place to go! I wont darken thier doorsteps again, and they will never have to worry about me spending money in there ever! If they are that concerned about theft, maybe he needs to watch some of his own employees instead of scareing off good paying customers!

Amazing selection and great costomer service

Overall the staff is helpful and nice. The prices are competetive amongst the other stores in town. The only thing holding this place back from a 5 star rating is the replused look you occasionally get from an Asian lady (Im assuming the owner?) Standing alongside a cashier. She looks distrustingly at everyone like they are a potential thief. Too bad. Ill still go there and smile genuinely at her as I make my way to the register filled with the intent to pay for my items. :-)
