I had a tractor lined out to buy, was told a price and what the financing would be. When we went to do the deal they told me they had made a mistake on their part and they couldn’t sell it to me for the agreed upon price. I also had a trade in that they low balled me on (I found a company in South Dakota that offered me what I was asking for my trade sight unseen, $6,000 more than Sheridan county implement). I was still willing to do business with them since my family had done business there for over 30 years. When the sales person called me the first time to tell me they had to again raise the price of the tractor because she had quoted something wrong. I told her I would talk it over and we left it at that. I called her back, the second call she said there would be some additional fees that were not discussed at all before hand. I got mad and said I would again have to talk it over with my wife and see what we could do. The third call she said that they wouldn’t offer us 7 year financing (she told us it would be fine with good credit and my credit is excellent) and we would only be eligible for 5 year financing which really pushed the payments out of our range and we had to back out on the deal. We were very upset and I called the manager “Nate” he said he would find out what was going on and get back to me. The next week I still hadn’t heard anything and so I called the store the manager had gone on vacation and wasn’t available. I haven’t heard from them since it’s been 6 months. I did find a beautiful tractor out of South Dakota that was delivered, cheaper, had fewer hours, and has been everything I could have wanted out of my first tractor purchase. Needless to say our ranch will no longer buy any equipment from Sheridan county implement. Unfortunately we are forced to still buy our parts from there due to the economics of having to drive to Billings.
If anyone plans on dealing with this implement get a good understanding of a deal or no deal! I was working on a piece of equipment; had a price negotiated and waiting on a shipping price ! Offered a down payment and was told no problem! While waiting! it was sold !! Instead of a reply, I get ignored! Finally get the store manager Nate! His only reply was SORRY!! My sentiments exactly! This is a SORRY place to buy your equipment! An agreement here is worth nothing ! Do your business where honesty and customer service is first! this implement is far from that!!!!!
