Always courteous and helpful, respectful and kind. I’ve only had good experiences here after five years of getting routine oil changes and state inspections on two Toyota’s. There is a bit of expected “up-selling” that bothers me a bit, as air filters and cabin filters really don’t need to be replaced as often as they hope I will buy them.
I always dread car maintenance but this was a great experience. The staff here is thorough and friendly and they work well as a team. I was super impressed.

Car failed inspection for headlight. Returned after purchasing headlight and technician installed it and passed my inspection. Marina was awesome. Things may have gone smoother if there was a supervisor or some leadership present during shift.
I have been going to Kwik Kar for over 7 years and I have always been treated great. Being a female to many car service places treat you like you are ignorant about cars. Kik Kar never has. They treat me with respect and that I know what I am talking about. I have always recommended Kwik Kar and I always will.

I took my truck to Kwik Kar yesterday and Ramon the manager failed the vehicle inspection due to a “parking brake” issue and wanted his “mechanic” to look at it. After spending my morning at an actual repair shop they informed me that there was nothing wrong with it and urged me to call DPS after speaking with a lady named Lori with dps she informed me that the person who performed the inspection was very incorrect about the rules of an inspection and that she would handle it. When I took it back for the reinspection Ramon responded with “your lucky I’m in a good mood otherwise I’d still fail your truck.”

They are the professionals when it comes to oil changes. The other oil change place down the street won’t change the oil on European cars (Audi’s BMWs Volkswagen and Saab, Volvo etc. and I quote “it’s too much trouble” I came to Kwik Kar and not only did they change the oil in my BMW without fuss and quickly Marina was really knowledgeable about European cars as were the guys there. They made me feel welcome and not like I had an Albatross circling over my head like Grease and Go did. I own several European cars and plan on seeing Kwik Kar for all my maintenance on my cars. So sad that Grease and Go are too lazy to work on anything other than American cars.
Cant say enough good things about this location! I have always had great experiences. James was very helpful and informative today without being pushy. I was able to get what I needed fixed for a reasonable price as well. I appreciate this place and their helpful employees!!
Went in to have my oil changed today and had an amazing young lady help me. Marina not only got the oil changed, but she noticed my windshield wipers were bad and asked if I would like them changed. I didnt know they did that there so I was so happy to have them changed. She took such good care of me, checked the air pressure in my tires, topped off all the fluids. I will definitely continue to go to this facility. Thank you for everything
4 hours just to do brakes. First part was my bad because I didnt have a lug to fit custom lugs but ran next door to AutoZone bought one came right back. The parts place brought wrong parts to the guy but overall took 4 hours. Couldve gave discount for time but nope.

I will for sure come back here. I was embarrassed being 23 years old and not knowing anything about vehicles . But when I got there the staff was very friendly, this young lady explained to me what was wrong with my car and how to fix it. I felt good that she took her time to explain to me the basics of my vehicle. I definitely recommend to come to this place. Great prices as well!!!

I consider myself to be a very patient and understanding person, but I’ve come here twice and have had bad experiences both times (as did my mom). I should’ve known after the first visit not to come back, but I figured I just came in at a bad time.This time he LOCKED MY KEYS IN THE CAR! We waited for a locksmith, then he gave me a half-behind apology and proceeded to lecture and talk down to me as to why I shouldn’t have come in the first place because my oil looked fine (apparently I’m expected to be a car oil expert).As a woman of color, I’m used to car service workers talking down to me, but this was a whole other level of disrespect, which baffles me because it was completely his mistake.UPDATE: A detailed response of my experience was sent to the specified email

Kwik kar @ Sherman is excellent. They are very honest and very helpful. They helped me out greatly and made it possible so Im able to drive my car and not be without my car. Best auto shop. They helped me out so much. Will be recommending them to everyone.
They closed at 6pm, but I arrived at 5:20 for just an oil change, and they told me they weren’t taking any more cars, even though there was only 1 car inside and no line.

They where very unprofessional. I just came in to get an inspection took over an hour the service people kept jumping from car to car instead of taken care of one car at a time. They had 6 service people working. I will not be coming back and highly recommend that no one else uses this place.

SCAMED My wife. She asked if they could run an extra quart of oil thru the motor to flush it and the told my wife it would be an extra 60.00$ and all this tech bs. Its a quart of oil. The said that they were going to flush the cabon out of the motor. I wounder how you do that with oil?? Sounds like a colledge kid to me. SCAM

Ive been going here since 2016. Last oil change took over an hour, my car smelled like cigarettes because the guy was chain smoking the entire time I was waiting and then today, when I took it somewhere new I was told they used the wrong oil.
My husband took our car in to have oil changed on Monday... Less than 3 hours later, our 2017 Rogue was acting crazy. They said they checked everything and said it was all good the paperwork and that it was good.... Now were paying almost a $1000 to Nissan to fix our car because the air filter they said was good, wasnt, and then was messed up from what Nissan can tell, and it ruined a sensor and got debris well past the sensor. We will NEVER NEVER use a place like this again, and will for sure caution anyone we know from here on out.ETA: Oil change actually happened Tuesday afternoon. The reciept is in the car at the Nissan dealership, so I will have to get it when we can pick up our car. Our vehicle is a 2017 Rogue, Silver. My husbands name is Joe Cook. I will add the ticket number here and email it as soon as I have it.

Called and asked if they did inspections, even had them assure if I drove up their that day I could get it taken care of. They said yes but after me driving all the way there I was informed they were not doing inspections that day because their printer had bern out since 8 am. Good job.
So upset.. went for an oil change Monday and the next day my car was making a funny noise. My dad and I took my car back and they fixed it whatever it was with the oil but heard one of the workers making fun of us for brining it back. First time I got an oil change there and will NEVER go again.

Im here waiting for our car to be inspected, not sure if theyll rip us off like other reviews say or treat us right but so far Im happy. Havent given five stars since Im still not sure what the cost will be. Theres a small waiting room and a clean bathroom, and a nice playroom opposite the waiting room (which I so love, tiny waiting rooms with a bunch of kids just sucks) thats private enough to nurse. Theres a camera overhead but hey the rocking chair they provide is away from everyone else so Im cool with that. An attendant met us in the lot and told us theres a ten minute wait time but the inspection should be quick enough. So far very professional. Ill keep this updatedWow already done! Usual sticker price, and were on our way!Update; I had a request to clarify cost, it was 7 bucks for our car inspection tag. We just moved from another county and this place knew about all the paperwork we would need (an affidavit they fixed up for us) in order to finish registration. They even told us where to go. There were lots of locals there young and old so Im assuming this place has a pretty good trusted following for inspections. Five stars, nothing to complain about :-)
Chad, the assistant manager, gave me above and beyond customer service. After inspecting my car, he showed me the parts that were needing to be replaced and did a wonderful job of explaining why. Its obvious that he is very knowledgeable and takes great pride is what he does. Chad spent two hours past closing time while repairing my car to make sure that everything was absolutely right. I travel out of town for work and I greatly appreciate him giving 110%. Would absolutely return and I would encourage others to do so as well.
All of these businesses are based upon the same functionality platform. We frequented one in Irving for many years that served well for us and our vehicles. The main difference in locations of this franchise is the personality and display of attitude and concern for customer property and care. Everyone I spoke with appeared to be happy to be there, but more importantly, interested in me and my vehicle. And that makes me happy to be there.I went in for a safety inspection for my pickup. It didnt take long, in and out in about twenty minutes.Bonus: I drove across the parking lot to the Kroger next door and bought my tags right after my inspection.Theres a restroom available in the waiting room, and a coffee pot right under the TV. As with most auto service establishments, however, seating can be cramped and the atmosphere can be awkward - but its the same way with haircuts and doctor visits as well. I tend to let others use the chairs if needed and stroll around outside.The reason for the five stars for these guys is the no nonsense experience I have when I visit. They are interested in your business, so you will see manufacturer suggestions about your vehicle. Keep in mind that if they do not have the records for your vehicle, they have no way of knowing. If you arent interested in it, just let them know! You arent hurting their feelings. Its what they do, and they want your vehicle to keep running so you return.

Brought my Toyota in for an oil change. The following day I found a puddle of oil under the car in the driveway. I returned to ask the tech to take a look as this car had never leaked so much as a drop of oil in the past. I was told that the plastic seal around the oil pan drain plug was old and they would change it for me. The car continued to leak. I then discovered that the plug had been cross threaded and the threads on the oil pan were damaged beyond repair. The drain plug had been put in so poorly that it was not even close to being flush with the pan. So to conclude, they damaged my car, lied to me, made no offer to make it right and charged me for the experience. Unprofessional and unskilled staff. Pass this one by unless you are willing to gamble. There is a good chance you will have to take your vehicle to an actual mechanic to get your car fixed because you got your oil changed here.Thank you for pointing out the other errant post, I had indeed mixed up the number on Loy Lake Rd. It was in fact Kwik Kar that stripped my oil pan threads. No, I dont think I spoke with an actual manager. I made the mistake of BELIEVING what the man at the counter told me. When I returned with my leaking Toyota, I was told that the plastic bushing/seal that goes with the oil plug was old and was told that they replaced it. The car continued to leak. The plug had been put in cross threaded and was wrenched in almost in place. When it was removed, I required many turns with a wrench. The plug had been put in at an angle.

I brought my truck here back in the summer and I was not only impressed with their professionalism but how thorough they were. They fixed my rear brakes and emergency brakes and the truck has never run better. I recommend this location. As far as wait times, they may not be the fastest but they are thorough and transparent.
Daniel is rude. Hung up on me before I was done with my sentence. Also, this place charges about $25 more then Kwik Kars in DFW area. Save yourself money and go elsewhere where professionalism is a goal.
We had been taking our vehicles there for a while, please do not go to this place, they will not help you after they mess something up or not replace something that they did not put back in place after they removed it, they removed and lost the dip stick and didnt tell us for I dont know how long, and said that they would get it replaced, they did replace it with a generic one which would not allow me to check the correct oil fill, Really I had the correct one and they should replace it with the correct one, so I had to purchase the correct one from the car manufacture, what else had they done to it that I dont know about? please be careful with these guys.Of course I spoke with the manager, it doesnt matter how long you have been in business, its how you take care of the customer, which in this case you simply didnt care for the customer.

Justin lied about being able to repair the power steering in my car.Justin gave me an estimate for a steering rack, but instead he installed a steering angle sensor without my permission. He then lied and said that he spoke with me and I agreed to. Justin also over charged me for the part and labor.I will NEVER have any service done at this business.
We got our oil done here last month, yesterday we got an oil pressure notification and we checked it and it has absolutely no oil in it. I had to put 3 quarts of oil in and we took it back today and they informed us that they had printed the issue on our receipt. They gave us another copy that specifically said oil level not showing on stick and oil filter housing/ pan leak. They absolutely did not verbally inform us. Im sure we are partially to blame for not reading the receipt. Kwik Kar is an absolute joke in my opinion you claim to care about your customers and their cars and offer other services along with oil changes, so why in the world would you not tell us there is an oil leak!!???? If you had, wouldnt we have asked you to help us fix it or something. I could have blew my engine and that problem could have been taken care of a lot sooner and not become a bigger problem. How can you claim that you service cars when you cant even tell your customers something so simple. Ive read the other reviews and cant see why anyone would even CHANCE taking their car there because if you have anything wrong they will not tell you. Any problem you have will be overlooked and become worse why give them your business. Go to someone who has some common sense and courtesy. Basic customer service.
Tried to send me on my way without any oil.ORIGINAL REVIEW:My first experience at Kwik Kar Lube & Tune was very disappointing. I went for just an oil change. The service took longer than expected. After they finished and I had paid, I noticed that the engine was making more noise than usual. It turns out it had no oil.I learned that, during the service, the new oil filter was not installed properly. When they added the new oil and started the car, the oil was pumped out around the filter. They turned off the engine and tightened the filter. Then, they added another half quart of oil, assuming that this would make up for what was lost. They never actually checked the dipstick. After I noticed the problem and they checked the oil level finally, they had to add an additional 3.5 quarts of oil, which indicates that there was almost no oil at all in the engine.I talked to the assistant manager about possible damage from this, and he indicated that it was unlikely. He just told me to contact them if I had any trouble. If I do have trouble, I doubt they would be willing for the repairs that would be their responsibility.I will be contacting the company about this using their claims number on the invoice.FIRST UPDATE:I called the claims number on the invoice and left a voicemail for the VP of Operations. I received a prompt call from Brenda, who investigated the incident and verified the claims of the involved parties via video footage. She told me that she had contacted Honda and verified that damage is unlikely to have occurred given the circumstances. I requested documentation of the event and Brenda offered to refund the charge.SECOND UPDATE:The check and letter did not arrive, perhaps it got lost in the mail. They had to print a second check, which I picked up from them at the location. They forgot to put the letter in the envelope with the check this time, so I had to request it again. As expected, the letter absolves them of any responsibility for the event, with language such as all parties, including you, stated the vehicle was running properly when you left. Of course my concern is about what damage may have been done that is not yet apparent. Needing an unbiased opinion, I contacted a Honda dealer directly and was assured that this was unlikely to have damaged this particular engine. I hope this fiasco is over now.
Took over two hours to get an oil and fuel filter changed on my diesel truck. Charged $80 more than last time I had it changed. Very unprofessional and poor service ... with extremely high prices. Not sure why its called Kwik Kar.
Ive been getting my oil changed here for the last couple years and have always had good experiences. I went in to get an inspection recently and it didnt go as well. They offered to replace my wiper blades and charge me for them of course, but after a while the guy disappeared and a different man had me just pay for the (failing of course) inspection and leave. Not sure what happened there. They were friendly and the waiting room was nice, however.

I stopped by to get an oil change after working a 12 hour shift when I got back in my car my key was broken called about the key when I got home and stopped by the next day but they refuse to pay for the damaged key I will not be using this place ever again.There was nothing wrong with my key when I came in I am currently using my spare key since your employee broke mine why would I be using a broken key to get around when I have a perfectly good one.
As a previous employee I can tell you this place does nothing but try to rip you off. They push employees to sell engine flushes, transmission flushes and all other flushes and punish the managers if goals are not met, stay away from this business if you care about your car. Also they threaten to cut all pay to minimum wage if you leave.

Worst place ever! Just needed a quick oil change on my 2016 Challenger. I was a little over due for an oil change and wasn’t going to be able to get to my regular guy anytime soon, so I tried these losers. They tried to talk me into flushing my engine, which it didn’t need. They charged me $4 for a skid plate charge, but didn’t bother with putting all the screws back in. My regular guy found that it was missing 3. Then the didn’t tighten the oil filter. It was barely on there.
Went in today at the Loy Lake Rd location for an oil change and couldnt have been treated nicer. It was very hot and late afternoon & shop looked to be busy. Daniel approached me for info with genuine concern & courtesy. He asked if I had been to this location before & being new to the area I had not so he kindly took the time to explain their procedure & stated he would speak with me soon. My car needed two other items & he explained both in detail at my car so I could actually see the problem & did so with knowledge of the procedure, time required & cost without any pressure to purchase anything but the oil change. I was further assisted at checkout by John, another pleasant experience. I commend Daniel for his honesty first, but both of these gentlemen for their awesome attitude & work ethic that deserves 5 stars! Thanks

My car had overheated and was about to explode.. You could hear it bubbling and shaking.. So the kids and I stopped here with a part I bought from Auto Zone and low and behold they were able to fix it with the part I have them. A lot of mechanics WONT do that,. AND I didnt get charged 200 dollars! I will be back for all my automotive needs... NO need to drove around Sherman or deal with these country butt mechanics trying to take your hard earned cash.

Took my jeep into business 6-24-19 Monday. Was there for 45 minutes. Next day my jeep died. Checked under car to see what was going on and the oil filter was covered with oil and wasnt on tight. I called them and they sent assistant manager out by hiself and he redid oil change. I took pictures of everything b4 his arrival.There was oil all under my car but still had oil in engine. Thank GOD. So he jumps me off because my battery died and said it seems like my altonator. Mind you I had no parts or service trouble b4. I had just had my jeep serviced and motor inspected very good at Sherman Collision which I highly reommend a week b4 while I was having body repair done. They did not find any motor trouble nor any codes for altonator show up. Come to find out the mangers wife at Kwik Kar has a jeep cherokee just like me. Funny and suspicious for my alt to go out very next day after spending 45 min at Kwik Kar for just an oil change which should have taken 10 min. I will not use this business again. Now Ive had to pay for tow, rent a car and my jeep in shop to repair a bad alt....BEWARE.

I went in with a ton of questions about my power steering pump leaking. These guys were so friendly and helpful. The gave me every possible thing that could be wrong.. but he did tell me if nothing else I need to replace the pump.. I took my car to Honda and they said they could not find anything wrong with it but it is still leaking power steering fluid ... so the next thing is replacing the pump. I called these guys this morning and they remembered who i was and gave me quote and said when they could get to it.. they were very professional. I cant remember their names but they were very professional the whole time.
First time there, and I will never go back, pulled up the guy asked if I had been I said no he asked what type of oil and I said Mobil 1 at this point he should have told me there is a 38.00 upcharge for this oil on top of the regular oil price. My bill to get out of there was 95.00, I use Mobil 1 all the time and my oil change at my usual place ( which is in another city) is 40.00 I have been ripped off. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL

Went to get oil changed on my wifes car.Always do it myself but with it raining and nasty out I thought I would just go have it done. Staff was friendly enough but when I got in the car to go there was a big oily hand print on the door panel.....thats unacceptable.

This place by far is the worst..... I took my car over there and had a Temp gauge fixed.....she calls and says that my car is ready as Im headed to pick it up she decides to call back and says oh I forgot to tell you you need a new water pump. You had my car for how long and was under it and yet you couldnt remember to tell me that? Then I called and asked how much it would be to fix and tells me we cant give you service anymore because its always a problem I stated your right because you shouldve told me same time about the water pump. Her exact words I forgot......I will be calling corporate or whoever is over them to file an even bigger complaint.....and PS the boss or whoever it is thats over them that was there.......shes rude as ever!
