I highly recommend Eldorado RV Service in Sherman. I’ve been going to them for a year now with multiple repair issues and Chris has fixed several issues that my original dealer could not fix. The prices are fair and reasonable and completion always as promised. Everybody there is friendly and helpful. This is the very best service I’ve ever received for my RV.

Mel is the best. Hands-down! And Chris took care of every detail down to the broken cupholders when we brought the RV back in for MAJOR repairs promised to us months earlier at time of purchase. Mel’s word is as good as gold! We purchased this vehicle all the way from Houston because of his shining reviews, and would do it again. I was scared to death to buy an RV from a large dealership (I won’t name names…) Because personal relationship is everything to my family and I. I purchased our first RV through Eldorado. We are from Colorado and so I did my work to ensure they were a reputable company. As with other reviews online I found them to be fair and honest. Mel keeps the sales process informal and light. Chris is meticulous in getting the camper ready for sale. I am quite particular with the care of equipment and still Chris exceeded my expectations. I was extremely pleased with the care taken to prep the RV for pick-up. Every system was checked, prepped, clean, and ready to roll. The one hiccup we ran into after the sale was handled professionally and resolved in an agreeable manner. I would buy from them again.

I was a first time RV buyer, and I was beyond nervous. I had looked, off and on for a year, but not felt secure about the units I saw. Dealing with Eldorado, my questions and concerns were answered fully and honestly. Mel and Chris made the transaction a breeze with no pressure. My small family and I drove to Eldorado RV completely ignorant of RVs. Because of our ignorance, we were concerned about over spending, how to operate, service if needed, and the thousand other questions that come with purchasing and ownership of a RV. We went to several other big dealerships and each time we felt that uneasy feeling like we were just money to the sales staff and dealerships.The moment we met the staff at Eldorado, we felt at home. Chris and Mel got to know us first. I imagine they realized quickly we were completely unprepared and ignorant of the process. They took time to understand us, our needs, and budget. They worked hard and found the perfect RV for us. We made an offer thinking we would try to lower the cost as everyone does even though it was a little over our budget. They came back with an amount slightly BELOW our offer and below our budget. Didnt expect that! I know for a fact they went out of their way to reduce the price to fit into our budget (I researched many other units online throughout the the US and yes, we purchased lower then anyone we could find). I asked why, they said this is how business relationships should be and they were proud and excited for us to purchase our first RV from Eldorado.Because it was a slightly used unit, Chris and team took extra time ensuring everything worked perfectly. When we came to pickup our RV, the Eldorado staff were waiting on us smiling and excited for us. Without us knowing-they upgraded the lights, a few fixtures, seals, and even roof at their cost. They said the reason they did that was that is what they would have wanted for their family.The staff went above and beyond educating us how to operate the RV, even asked us questions to test our understanding, wow.As we were leaving, Chris shook my familys hands and thanked us. He looked me straight in the eye and said dad, you are not alone. If you need help learning how to work things or service issues, you call me anytime. Wow.Because of my ignorance, I have called Chris several times. He answered immediately, helped me, and quickly made a small service issue right without question. What a great experience. Terrible experience and hold on to your wallet. Wanted them to do an inspection of a RV we were interested in buying. First quote was $750 when every other dealer charged $450-550, but they came highly recommended so we agreed to $600. They did the inspection and everythimg was wonderful. Drove 4hrs on freeway hooked it up to water and flooded the under carriage and kitchen,so far have found 3 leaks and the main kitchen faucet will only drip water. No telling what other nightmares we will find. Then we had a camera replaced for a agreed upon price and labor amount. When came to pay the bill the labor cost was double. If you hear the name Chris BEWARE and RUN before having any business deals with the Outfit.

After talking with Chris the first time, I thought I had found a good RV repair facility in north Texas. After wasting 2 weeks trying to set up an appointment for repair, I decided that people who do not return phone calls are not interested. Just wish Chris had let me know up front.

Chris Douglas is excellent motorhome mechanic. Ill let you know how much it costs.The price of repair on our motorhome was adecent cost, not outrageous. Any time we have something done $1000 is the leastwe pay.

When I bought my 42’ diesel coach all my friends said “ u do not know a left handed screw driver from a right and u are buying an RV! I wanted one and bought one. My friend Larry turned me onto to Eldorado RV and Chris who by the way is a life saver! When I call him on the road, which is often he answers” Baker’s RV service, even like tonight at 9 pm. Many times on the road we face time with issues and solve them. I have been screwed so many times by mechanics over the years because they know I can afford the fee- but when I find someone who I can trust and goes the extra mile I have a very Big mouth and I tell all my friends about Chris! They even moved 25 miles further from my home, and I will follow him anywhere!
