I had a section of a damaged board I was replacing and I needed to get the stain color matched. The big box store was never able to do it, but the guy at Sherwin Williams matched it perfectly. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I regret I didnt just go there first - the other stores are just not as good at matching colors.

We just finished having our house painted. The guys at Sherwin Williams of Sherman were excellent to work with. From recommending the right paint, and saving us from buying almost twice the paint we needed. That would have been an additional cost of over $400 if we would have listened to the contractor and had it colored, but Matt saved us. He calculated the sq. Footage and estimated half of what the contractor told us to buy. We had some caulking and primer left over and unopened. There was no problem returning it. We couldnt be happiest with the results. Thanks to the whole crew at Sherwin Williams for keeping our stress level at a minimum.

They work really hard to help you get the color you want in a room. I was wanting a match from a pretty blue off my new hair dryer and they couldnt match it because it was plastic. But he was able to get close to some color choices. I chose 2 different color samples and went home and tried them on a wall.. Came back and bought one of them. It inspired me on what to do in my Gameroom. Im using one color in room and the other lighter color as accent on one wall which I can cover from the sample quart I bought. He said I might also mix several colors together to achieve the desired shade or do a faux finish effect. I choice not to go that way.. They worked hard to help me get the color I wanted, in doing so it inspired me . I always like the Semi-gloss finish..

It was hot in the store and it was fairly busy but the sales team was polite and professional.

This store is ok, especially if you know what you are looking for spefically. In my opinion the Sherwin-Williams store in Denison have more experienced people that are more able to help coordinate colors and tell you which paint is best for each job. I am planning on painting my loft and staircase flooring, Denison was able to tell me the exact paint to use, I will definitely be buying all my paint supplies from them!
