TERRIBLE!As you can see, iam not giving a one star.NO ONE HELPED US GET OUR PRODUCT OUT, TO THE CASH REGISTER. WE ASKED FOR HELP LOADING 3 TIMES, NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP.

Why in the hell do I call a order in 6 hrs before I pick it up!!! It’s not ready! Simple 180 8 inch block 2 pallets of block not ready? I should have went to brickyard

Although I have been a customer here for 17 years, I have to write this review. On two occasions, I have ordered product to be delivered and I’ve had absolutely horrible experiences. The latest one involves a washer and dryer. First time it showed up damaged and we had to refuse it. The second time it showed up, the crew delivering it did not want to work and said it wouldn’t fit. After going into the store and making some very simple measurements, it would fit with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Worked with Geri the manager and she said she could get it delivered and installed,, but the delivery company then lied once again, saying they had spoken to my partner to schedule it. No call had been made whatsoever. Geri was at a loss for words and very frustrated. Very sketchy as far as their delivery and installation company goes. Deal with them in person or prepared to get screwed. Or, buy from a local company like we are now! Makes me sad because I own a small business and do a lot of business at this particular store. Unfortunately, they have zero control over the people they contract with.

Today was a good day to come by and get some suppliers I needed. The 2 young man that help me, were very helpful indeed. They went out of their way to help me and seek out a zip tie set of pliers I found myself in need off. Got home and was able to finish the job that I been wanting to get done.Thanks again fellows. This is not my first visit to this particular Home Depot despite the fact I live in McMinnville, but today I felt I must post a review due to the excellent quality of service I received from Dale.I was contemplating the 80 lb bags of mortar I needed to lug into my cart when he happened past me and he immediately asked if I would like help loading them onto my cart. I was very grateful for the help and then continued my shopping.On my way out to my truck with my purchases I heard someone calling out and turned to see Dale asking if I needed help loading the mortar bags in my vehicle. This was all the more impressive because:A.He was obviously off work at this point and was on his way to his car to head homeB. It was 110 degrees out!Now that’s good customer service.

Buyer beware do not buy appliances from home depot if your house does not meet their very specific requirements for installing is in any appliance they will not install it and you will miss your 48 hour window to return anything because you have to get a 3rd party to install to install your appliances

Friendly customer service and decent stock of merch. The one thing I notice is they are low staffed in certain departments sometimes. I tried to get help in flooring and only one person was staffed on multiple occasions I went in there. There were several people waiting to get help along with myself. Shoutout to Eric for the great service though.

I needed a new dryer, so went to Home Depot in Sherwood. I ended up buying both a GE washer & dryer even though my LG washer still worked. I had to wait 2 weeks for delivery. It came Oct 9th & it worked that day. We went out of town the 10th thru 12th came home tried to do laundry & washer did not work. Called 800 # and when theyre suggestions didnt work they set up appt for 10/15. On 10/14 the repair company called said they couldnt come until 11/1. I called the store & was told they couldnt help and it was non returnable.

I will never buy any service through this store again. been trying to get carpet installed with terrible service from Romanoffs Renovations. Scheduled twice both times no show. We will find a different store to buy our carpet from and hopefully it wont take 2 months

I dont know why Home Depot even employs associates. The ones that you can find are typically less than helpful, if you can even manage to locate one. Its much easier to just shop online.

Mega-kudos to Adin in Hardware at Sherwood! He absolutely went above and beyond to help me find what I needed at a different THD, as the Sherwood store was out. He had to call two other stores for me and was repeatedly disconnected, but he sincerely apologized for the delay each time and then continued to call the stores back. He said he didn’t want me to make the drive until he had had eyes on the product and knew it was actually in stock. When leaving, I informed him that he was my new favorite superhero! :) 🦸🏼‍♂️

I am confused. Does Home Depot not inspect the lumber that is coming in? We just rebuilt our deck and had to constantly shift through boards until we found decent ones. Most of them are severely chipped or splinting, or bogged down with water from sitting down in the rain. Not happy with it at all.

In love going to the Sherwood hone depot. They always have plenty of parking and the staff is really friendly and helpful.

I don’t even need to explain, but booking projects through Home Depot is a nightmare. Paid $6000 upfront for new floors, carpet, etc. Once they had my money, I didn’t hear a peep for a month and a week, until I kept calling to make sure everything was good. Multiple people confirmed multiple times we were good to go. 1 day before install our product was dropped off (and the pallet broke so the marble floors dropped 5 feet onto concrete). And not even 24 hours before install, we were told about some “asbestos” test (after us calling multiple times) Nothing was mentioned about this at all prior to the day before install. So after jumping through all of the hoops, they told us we were now entirely bumped off the schedule (the morning of install - yet somehow they book you for 3-4 days?) and it would be another month until they could install - after we had all of our furniture moved out, taken a week off work, dogs were in daycare, etc etc. Only bright side of this situation is that we found an awesome local company to support that is taking care of us.Oh, and we also talked to 3 different flooring companies (big box, one being Lowe’s a competitor - and 2 flooring companies in business for 20 + years). All professionals said since our house was built in 2004 (December 2003 was the asbestos cut off date - yet was essentially done being used in the 70s) AND the floors had been replaced in 2016 before we moved in, that it was complete BS. Home Depot and Romanoff flooring overbooked so they were trying to throw us off of their schedule in any way possible. I could go on and on but you get it. I should also mention, the communication was flawless when they were picking up the pallet after we cancelled the job :-) we had also received up for a 20k home reno loan through them as well intending to do everything through them (floors. Cabinets. Counters) and I’m glad we didn’t.We ended up spending more money (gladly) and using a local company. Please don’t support Home Depot! If you’re in the Newberg area, check out Johnson’s flooring.

I was looking for insulation with a vapor barrier. Associate mentioned other flat stuff foam. This was for bathroom shower floor. With 2nd trip back, we picked up roll of insulation. Used heavy duty foil for backing. Hope this helps someone.

This home depot is just fine. Ive been to several home depots and had lots of varying experiences, but I come to this one most often for my DIY home improvement needs because its closest to my home. I almost always find what Im looking for when I come here, but there have been some instances where I was dissatisfied. I was trying to buy a shed here, but the options are pretty limited, and when I finally found one that was close enough to what I wanted, I tried to order it and they wouldnt accept my military discount because it was a special order. I ended up building it myself, bigger and cheaper and exactly how I wanted.

Im disappointed in this location. I ordered a washer and dryer spent almost $1800. The dryer makes noise something is wrong with the drum. I called the next day after it was installed to report it. A service guy came said yes something is wrong with it and we will order you a new one we were told its on back order because of covid. So after waiting a few months turns out the service guy reported it as nothing was wrong and thats it they want us to go through GE now. If we would of known this we would of just returned the dryer. Im annoyed that the guy looked at us and said yes we will replace it but he reported different. If everything worked fine I wouldnt have called the following day after the delivery. Good luck getting the store to help or their delivery team

They let me take a lot of free samples. Honestly kinda felt weird carrying so many out, but I have upstairs and downstairs and no Pinterest boards with any ideas.

Home Depot is a great place for buying whatever is needed for home repairs and home projects. There is one close to my home and another near my work so very convenient for me. The parking lot is usually hopping but inside the store is so spacious that it never feels crowded. And the hours are good. Especially with COVID-19 this is the place to go when work needs to be done on the home. I use the app a lot too when I am looking for items. Prices are usually reasonable and lots of variety on brands, colors, materials.

Ive always loved this place for the hospitalityAnd great people who truly care about there customers. This place will always be 5 stars.

WORST Customer Service experience ever!! I purchased a bundle deal through the Sherwood Home Depot - Refrigerator, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Gas Range and separate Telescopic Downdraft System (since they could not find a downdraft gas range in their system.) We had to order the Telescopic Downdraft separately from the range order due to it not being an instore stock item. The Telescopic Downdraft came two weeks before the range was due. We took it to the house and were told it was too big to fit inside the cook island. I went back to Sherwood Home Depot to cancel the range and return the downdraft. They would not refund the $1,299 KitchenAid/Maytag Downdraft they had recommended because we did not refuse it within 48hours. I explained that there has to be exceptions to the rules - it was never taken out of the box and they had said it would work for what we needed. I went back twice to customer service in disbelief and was told by from tow very young and tactless managers that there was nothing that they could do other than try and sell it. I still cant believe there is zero flexibility for such a high price item. I will never step foot into the Sherwood store again. All appliance retailers price match so there is no need to shop the big orange box store. I purchased a new range with downdraft from DeWhitt Appliance and received it within a week. Great customer service and amazing installers!!

They had a version of what I needed that I could have made work, but I elected to buy nothing and leave because of the tone the sales assistant used when helping me. He assumed I had zero knowledge of what I was doing, to the point of asking me in a sing-song voice if I was positive I wasn’t using metric, while he handed me the wrong thread size... said “Good work!” like I was 2 when I told him the proper thread size, asked repeatedly if my neighbors had tools and could “help me out.” I think it’s sexist to assume that every unaccompanied young woman is totally oblivious in a Home Depot. Have been shopping here a long time without assistance and would have expected better when needing it. I’ll shop here again, but I’m going elsewhere if I have any questions.

The people are very very nice awesome place to get everything you need at home Depot is just got it theyre way above and beyond loads I will definitely keep going there for the rest of our projects they got our number.

I was in need of a couple pieces that involved hole saws and diamonds blades/tips. LARRY came up to me and asked me if he could help me find something because he could probably see that I was lost. I told him what I needed and he directed me to a completely different area where I found the parts I needed. Because of LARRY and LARRY alone I will 100% come back to this location!THANK YOU LARRY!

I am writing my 1st star review. I am a level 7 reviewer.To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. I try very hard to provide only 5 star reviews because I know important they are. Especially to the small business owner like myself.To be no showed for a carpet installation is unacceptable. I even got a phone and text confirmation stating that of the date/time of arrival the day before. Now my house is complete disarray with no timeline of when they are showing up next. I have waited all day for someone to respond with no avail. I am disabled and it was hard to move my house around. Fortunately my son helped. But he leaves today and he is gone for over a week and I have to figure how to move everything back.The poor lady I was speaking to said that she has to filter these type of call everyday. EVERYDAY. Hopefully, Home Depot, you actually read these. That I am not an isolated case.Hopefully, this can be resolved sooner than later. Till then, I wrote my 1 st one star review. Wish I didnt have to.

I live 21 miles from the Sherwood store and 19 miles from the Hillsboro store. I cant even reach anyone by phone in Sherwood. They seem to play the phone bouncing game there. I had a sales associate in Hillsboro call around to other stores to find a specific part for me! Which he did, successfully.Zero service in Sherwood? Or over the top, above and behind service in Hillsboro?😁😉

I have written a review for this home Depot under this account, but google keeps prompting me for another. Home Depot online is awful, they shipped a package with fragile items in a bag, for a $100.00 purchase could not even put water filters in a box. UPS destroyed all 3 filters, snapped the ends of them off since they were in a plastic bag. I will not buy anything from Home Depot any longer unless no one else carries it. Would give them zero stars if I could.

Easy to find what I needed and staff member provided unsolicited advice on the item I purchased through check out to extend the life of the product.

Purchased a new dishwasher and when they delivered it installer told me my plumbing was not up to code and refused to install dishwasher. I had a plumber come out and was told my plumbing was just fine and there was no reason that home depot 3rd party company should not of installed dishwasher. When i called store to get resolved they gave me a totally different reason why the install could not be done and would not send anyone to install the dishwasher until updates are made. Main issue is with 3rd party company employees that does installs are not qualified to determine issues, are not plumbers and when i refused to sign for the delivery of dishwasher since they would not install it they just dumped it in my driveway and took off. Now Home depot say since it was delivered they wont take it back even though i never accepted delivery and it still in original packaging. This is obviously a scam by the 3rd party installers to get out of doing work. Home depot support is refusing to help at all... i will never buy from Home depot again!!!

Has everything you need but sometimes hard to find someone if you need help.

For the second time in 3 months I needed a sheet of plywood cut and their saw was out of service. Then I left my cart @ the loading door to get the truck. There wasnt an employee around to help me load but as soon as I finished one showed up to take the empty cart away.

Like the nursery and bbq area. Like specials . Lumber way high and I wish the workers could answer a question about their area. I like remodeling materials.

Convenient location, pretty good selection, but what to do with all of the extra PVC connectors? They only had a jar with 35 pieces.

I got the run around looking for a dryer for our non profit. Whatever they have on display it’s almost certain that they don’t have it in stock. I don’t understand this. They could use all that space they’re using for display models and display other things that are actually for sale.They want you to order online and wait for them to deliver it to you.Waste of time, especially when you’re in the need of a washer or dryer on the spot.I barely pulled off finding one at Lowe’s. It’s the same nonsense at they’re store

Really like to first shop at home, select products, ensure quantity, add to my online cart, then at store open online cart on mobile device to find exact isle/bin product locations in store! Very nice feature.

I brought in an ad this morning showing a photo and the price of a Christmas tree. The manager said the ad was wrong even though it was their ad. He told me that price really started two days later. He pretty much accused me of altering the ad! My friend took the EXACT SAME AD to another Home Depot and THEY HONORED IT! Extremely frustrating. I am so very disappointed in my Sherwood Home Depot. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Drove 30 minutes to grab something they said they have 20 of. Get here to find they have none. Ask for help finding it and guy just shrugs saying i guess we dont have it. Then i show them it says they have it online. He says no. I guess when u pay so little employees dont care if you have missing inventory.

Home Depot is my go-to hardware store. They usually have what I need and I get in and out quickly. The staff have always been helpful in showing me where things are or offering helpful suggestions for the project Im working on.

Customer service made us feel like we were stealing from them for exchanging $20 in wood that ended up splintering even though they recommended it to us (we spent more on the replaced wood). Honestly have had nothing but bad experiences working with Home Depot the past few projects. Would rather support Lowes or Ace Hardware who would appreciate our business more.

Waiting time unexpectectly long. Half of the appetizers from menu not available in the restaurant. Extra charged on drinks, on specials cranbe - rrita was $ 6.00, they charge us $15.99 for two. Bathrooms very dirty. Very disappointed.

All I wanted was a refund on a 5 dollar item, I didnt have a reciept so they were going to give me store credit which was fine, however I forgot my ID so I was told there was nothing that could be done. I asked if they could call a manager over and make an exception, the man who was called over claimed he was the store manager and told me the same thing. In the last month Ive spent over $800 at this location and there going to make me go home and get my ID for a measly $5 refund. Not happy with myself for choosing this location to spend my money, at least I know now plus Im pretty sure there opening up an ACE down the street soon here. In any case I refuse to spend my money here and I asked my parents and brother (who just bought a house) to do the same

For whatever reason this home depot seems to consistantly have a better selection of decent lumber then most the home depots in the pdx metro.

Was just in here looking to purchase a microwave and dishwasher. Told associate I was going to need help in 10 minutes; over 20 minutes later, nothing and no one to be found. Plenty of associates talking to each other or on their phones though, so thats nice.

The HomePod of HomeDepot, I always shop here as a contractor. Always find what I need. Easiest is to find it online and then find it in the store. Have had no problems yet.

In the time that I have come here (since it was first opened) I have had mixed experiences. If you need something and you know where it is great, no problems. If you require assistance from customer service GOOD LUCK! They are as incompetent as Ive ever seen. On my most recent visit a simple online order turned into a 2 hour nightmare. They dont know what theyre doing and they are rude. I cant express in words how frustrated I am with this level of incompetence. Absolutely horrible! In addition the manager, a lady named Micah, was also awful. If any of the three worked for me I would fire them.

My go to place for most home improvement ideas. This location also seems to have the best selection of lumber varieties. The garden department stocks plants just for this growing region too so you dont have to worry much about getting plants that die in our climate as the seasons change.
