Closest place to get random things without having to go to the big box stores. I would give it more stars but theres never enough cashiers and the place always seems messy as they surely dont have enough workers to keep things neat.

Good place to run in and grab something quick when your on the run, great customer service.

Im a regular customer of D.G. Why I rated it a 3 is that they dont restock their shelves very often. They always have long lines with only one person working the line. The D.G.on the Gp is often not working. The parking lot is littered as well. I would go to another D.G. oranothet store but this D.G.is close to where I live at.

Great place to get little things here and there but checkout usually takes longer than the shopping due to only having one cashier open even during the busiest times.

So yummy and service was amazing.

Very nice cashier was able to find disinfectant wipes I have not been able to find anywhere since the started.

Austin Dollar General has the most friendly employees! The only problem I have found is a lack of employees during the busiest shifts. This is true for any DG I’ve ever visited. DG employees seem to be pulled so many different directions. They are overworked. It isn’t fair. DG can definitely afford to hire more employees.

This store is literally down the street from another Dollar General there even on the same side of the road. With that being said, no lines to wait in or crowded store ever. A box 📦 or two maybe sitting around on the floor with mystery items.

Larger store than many of the other DG stores near by, so it has wider selection of items. It is messy, the employees are often short bc they are understaffed & the turn over rate is extremely high. Management is not any better at customer care nor friendliness.

Love the store Manager and her assistant they are such sweet people

I love going into this store!!! Renee is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! It doesnt matter what kinda day i am having SHE ALWAYS makes me smile! And if Im having a bad day shes always willing to lend am ear!!! Mostly the other employees are lovely as well.... But Renee, SHES THE BEST!

It was a little messy due to the seasonal items being changed out but I got an awesome deal on some x-mas clearanced ribbons and bows box sets, regular $3, sale price $0.90.

Great store to visit for a quick trip. Prices are pretty reasonable and the staff is usually helpful if you ask for assistance. I will definitely be going back to this store any time I just need to grab a few items.

I cant wear a mask so was told i could not enter unless I could give a reason why I cant wear one. Hippa violation. Just wanted to let everyone know. Also the cashier was extremely rude when he told me to leave. Will NEVER enter a Dollar General again.

Came into pick up a few items. The store was clean and well maintained 🤗🤗🤗🤗 The line was extremely long. When I was ready to check-out. Ms. Renee came to our rescue 👍👍👍👍 Her assistance with crowd control. Made for a great shopping experience for all !!!!!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗😘😘😘😘👍👍👍👍

I love DG! But it seems as though every store has a problem with being understaffed. The workforce changes often -- probably because they cannot do all that is required of them.

DG is DG, but this one has a good variety and typically have pleasant employees.

Closest thing to a grocery store in the neighborhood. A lifesaver if youre out of something time sensitive, and dont want to trek all the way to JFK or McCain. Reasonably good prices (very good for their generic brand), and friendly, competent employees.

I come in here frequently. Almost daily. I have kept a lot of unsettling behaviors from staff to myself. Renee needs to either be replaced or sent to a customer service seminar that works on her mouth and her attitude. Not only have I had the misfortune of having to deal with it in person, but over a span of months, I have seen her treat customers like garbage. If she cant handle the stress of the job and maintain composure, she needs to be replaced. Its not cute. You look bad over the way she treats customers.

Great place to run in for a few items without having to deal with parking & long lines at Wallys World or other larger, mor congested stores! Prices are 🔥!

Great selection

They dont allow backpacks but anybody with a backpack sized purse is allowed. Its always clean for the most part but its absolutely dreadful how some of the employees act. No matter what time you arrive there they only seem to have 1 employee per 5 people waiting at check out. The absolutely refuse to have more than 1 check out during rush hour.

Great place to go in for something you forgot! They have a little bit of everything.store was clean and organized. They also sell beer and wine.

Have all of the things a regular D.G. has plus beer and frozen section

They are usually pretty well stocked, but be prepared to wait in line for a good minute....check out is always slow and lines are long 98% of the time.

One cashier that was super nice but at 7 pm kn a friday she had 20 peoplenin line.Need more help

Good selection of merchandise however they only use 1 checkout line, most of the time. It causes a long line and takes a long time to checkout. The line is always long here.

They usually have what I need. I like going when I have a few things I need to grab quickly. There is usually not a wait to get checked out.

Love shopping at the Sherwood location. People are nice, prices are reasonable, wider selection of items than other stores.

Stood line for 30 minutes because I didnt want to drive to Wal Mart. It was an embarrassing seen, the little girl working actually told a co worker that she had the line that was around the store, that this was under control not to mention that it was good as he left... i wish that I have gone to Walmart, saved the money and time. The funny thing? I dont like Walmart.
