The store is ok. The staff is friendly and the store looks nice. The used game prices are silly. Most are $1 or $2 less than new price. Its better to buy new somewhere else or buy used off of eBay.

What started out as a fantastic experience ended up being a bit off but forgivable!Yesterday, I went in originally looking for a PS4 controller and being told by my husband we didn’t need one and figured, ok, why not get some switch games instead.I should preface by saying I’m here visiting family as I’m from MD so I only brought one physical switch game and the rest digital on my system. I wanted a couple other options to play at the airport when I leave since I will be waiting to board.I decided upon Ori (Blinded Forest Definitive Edition) and Harvest Moon world. I had grabbed two new games and was told by the associate if I change out HM to used, I’d save 15$ or so. I said sure. I watched as the associate placed Ori in the case and go back and swap the HM case from a new to used case. At this point I was honestly distracted by the ps5 controller on the back wall. He bagged it while I wasn’t looking and I paid. In my glee, went to the truck and went home :) I opened up the HM box and saw Ori in it and figured ok i guess I will play Ori first. Works for me. I assumed HM was in the Ori case. I played Ori all night. This morning I woke up and wanted to play HM so I went to the Ori case and there was not game card!!!!!! They sold me the Harvest moon case but not the game card!?!? So now I have to go back to GameStop today when they open, explain what happened, and get my game card!Got to GameStop and the associate remembered me and immediately apologized and gave me the game card :) he was prepared and readily confessed due to the volume of customers he got distracted. No worries. I was distracted too otherwise I would’ve noticed. Totally forgivable and understandable. Luckily I did not have to go to the airport today haha. That would’ve sucked.

Thia franchise never ceases to amaze. Along with having a great inventory and an active, enforced policy that limits store population, they even bear friendly customers who one can share a laugh with whenever possible. It stinks that this store does not have the newest Pokémon Mystery Dungeons game, but nonetheless, GameStop is always a win. They also give yearly Nintendo Switch online memberships for twenty bucks, which is great.

Staff were on their phones, sadly Ive become use to this. They did however take my number and called when they got a switch in when they were all but impossible to find, so they saved the day for my sons birthday.

I am assuming there is not much time left for gamestop. Current business model cant keep pace with walmart, target or online stores. Too many times I have gone in to find the game we were looking for was sold out. Whats sad is i find the game at the target next door. Then today, I find out they wont price match the local competition. It was only a five dollar difference! If you want to survive you have to be competitive. SadEDIT: And why in the hell cant you use your points at the register instead of logging into your account. These stores really suck.

Im sure service could be better if they had more help we had been in the store with our old system up on the counter and the employee kept helping other customers. We planned on trading in and getting Xbox one and many other games. However he helped customers on other smaller sales while making us wait.

A gentlemen named Alex helped me out while I was there. I was having trouble trouble with an in-store order that was shipped and never showed up. For over 30 minutes Alex helped me by making a few calls, double checking where the package was actually shipped to and all that jazz. All of my problems werent 100% solved there but I definately appreciate Alex and the work that he did.I had a 5 star exprence from a 5 star employee. Thanks Alex

I bought a game that I didnt try for around 30 days. The game wouldnt play. Even though it was a couple days past their guarantee they swapped it out with a working copy without any problems. Great customer service.

I dont know the guys name, but when I went to buy a game here, they tried to sneak in their GameStop Warranty right as I swiped my card. I just barely noticed it and had him go back and take it off. Other than that bit of sketchiness, this place was alright; just be sure to double check that you arent getting a warranty you didnt want or ask for.

I stopped at this store and bought a Pre-owned copy of Diablo3 Ultimate Evil. The store employees were nice and helpful but ultimately it was no good as the disc the sold me was bad. Now that wouldnt be too bad of a issue because you can always return it, except Im a truck driver and Im only home on the weekends and I live about 45 minutes away. My weekend time is precious and now I have to spend another 2 hours of my weekend returning a bad disc for a replacement. I called the manager to inform him that a bad disc had snuck through the testing process and got sold to a customer and he told me that they dont even test the games they get in to see if they actually play or work at all. I should also explain that the disc isnt badly scratched, it has a very tiny little imperfection near the edge. But 2 minutes in any xbox one would have told them it was a bad disc. Thanks gamestop for reminding me why I use digital download from the Xbox store so much more often these days.
